This year we celebrate the 87th performance of "Messiah" by The Cleveland Messiah Chorus. Music lovers of the epic masterwork by Georg Friedrich Handel will fill the pews of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church. 3031 Monticello Blvd, Cleveland, Ohio Performance Date: Sunday November 22, 2009 4 PM. Joining us at the podium this year will be Musical Director Virginia Wieland-Mast, who founded the Forest City Singers, Christoper Toth returns as organist, veteran soloists Janine Porter (soprano), Ryan Bergaron (counter-tenor), Paul Clarke (tenor), and William Dempsey (bass-baritone). Free Admission. A free-will offering will be taken that evening to defray chorus expenses and provide funds to support youth vocal groups in the community. Parking is free. |
