Link's trusty steed has helped him to get around quickly and dodge enemy attacks. She is also extremely loyal, immediately responding when Link plays Epona's Song in an accessible area. Her loyalty, compassion and usefulness could be what drives her onwards through this contest.

   

Saria

Contest History

- Defeated Tingle

Saria is a Kokiri and thus she never grows any older. She shares some special moments with Link and is one of his most likely love interests along with Malon and Princess Zelda. She aids Link by providing him with advice on demand whenever he plays Saria's Song on the ocarina. She also presented him with the Fairy Ocarina in Ocarina of Time early on in the game, which proved vital before he managed to obtain the Ocarina of Time itself from Princess Zelda.

So there you have it. Two heavyweights, in terms of friendship and sheer helpfulness towards Link, pitted against one another. This much is for sure, there can be no true loser in this battle!
