"Lake Hotel" (8.5" X 13.5") is painted on beveled wood. The painting  was restored at a cost of $100 by family members. There is no signature or date. The painting is thought to have been painted on site in Germany and brought to Utah in 1865. Use of wooden panels was common in Europe at that time.
