Frodo (yellow) is a neutered male bob-tail cat who was born in May 2005 and Priscilla, born in July 2005, is his playful friend. Frodo has also chosen our shepherd mix as his best friend, and helps mom (Marona) with Priscilla

 

                    

Tommy has found a forever home.  He spent labor day weekend with a nearby family and has adopted their 9 year old boy Tristan.  When they came back to sign the papers they brought him along to show me what a different boy he was.  He looked so happy and really liked them, and they fell in love with him. 

 

 

 

Pollyanna is learning the leash.. she has lots of energy. She is a little shy to start with but loves you when she gets to know you. Great for a family with kids. Polly was born in 2005. Polly has been placed.  What a happy girl.

 

 

 

 

                          HOPE HAS BEEN PLACED!!!

This lovely lady came to us as a stray.  She is well mannered, although excited at having someone pay attention to her.  A very smart little girl, eager to please.  She adores being petted and cooed over, and gets along with kids.   

JOEY---Male senior lab mix. Loveable only pet. Joey was found as a stray and was on the list to be put to sleep when we rescued him. We gave him his shots and had him neutered. Joey loves to play fetch with anything you can throw, sits and shakes paws.  Joey has been crate trained.Joey has been placed.  He has an elder sister.  Congratulations Joey!

BECCA--- Becca has been placed! ! !  She found a farm where she can run and play with her new mom and dad's granddaughter.  She is just thrilled with her new home.  They even bought her a brand new doghouse!  She doesn't have to share it. 

 

 

 

              Jody has been placed

Jody is spayed and about 3 years old. She is a beagle mix and is good on a leash. She knows the commands sit, down, roll over and is crate trained. She is very quick to learn. This little lady is a real sweetheart, she tries to please you and watches your every move.  She doesn't like to be left alone and is very vocal when you do, but would be wonderful for someone who is a stay at home 'mom', or can take her wherever you go. 

She loves to see how tall of a fence she can jump over, and if she can't jump it she will climb it.  She needs to be an indoor girl with someone who will wait outside with her to keep her inside the yard or who will take her for walks on a leash. 

Jody is camera shy and looks away when she sees you are trying to photograph her.  We are unable to get a good shot of her face.  She is quite a lover and gets along with most dogs and ignores cats.

Shrek has been transferred.  Good luck Shrek in your new home.

Tote has been transferred to another shelter where she has a better chance of finding a home!!  Good Luck Tote.   

Tote is a pointer mix that was found with her sister, Pogo, half-starved running down a road in the country miles from anywhere in March of 2006.  They were just under a year old at that time.  Tote was named because she totes anything she can carry around everywhere with her.  She is a wonderful loving girl and really loves kids.   

 

 

Pogo has been transferred to another shelter in hopes of a better chance of finding her forever home.  Good luck Pogo.

Pogo is the sister of Tote.  They are pointer mix pups that were born approximately December of 2005.  

We are adding more of our wonderful friends.  We also have a lovely young black lab lady.  In the cat department we will be adding Precious, Marona and Sophie (Sophie is very shy around people but loves our dogs).
