Dragon Coachworks is your number one source for Clénet Parts. We have a limited supply of original Clénet factory inventory and we continue to manufacture parts that are not available from any other source such as Stainless Steel Supercharger Side Pipes and Tail Pipes. We also manufacture a two seat roadster similar to the Clénet Series IV and a 6 passenger limousine similar to the 1934 Duesenberg.
We are the only manufacturer of Clenet Parts in the World which is produced by the former Vice-President of Clenet Coachworks after the company closed its door for the last time in the early 1990's. Leonard Rivero has kept in contact with many of the Clenet owners over the years and has provided free advice and service in locating or manufacturing parts for their touring automobiles.
As part of this service, many Clenet owners have asked advice on the best way of selling their vehicle or in purchasing new ones. We have always maintained that the Clenet automobiles are uniquely rare and of supererior design and engineered to be the finest neo-classic automobile ever built.
With only 250 of the Series I built between 1977 and 1979, it quickly sold out before the company started with the Series II of which about 150 were built, the Series III of which only about 20 were built and finally the best of them all, the Series IV of which only about 4 were built by the factory and by former employees after the company closed.
After 25 years of service, many of the Clenets are in need of replacement parts as rust has deteriated some of the chrome supercharger side pipes and tail pipes. Leonard has engineered and manufactured better than original replacement parts by using materials that were not available in earlier times such as polished stainless steel which never rust and reinforced Kevlar fiberglass fenders that resist road rock impact stars from going through to the paint from underneath. Some of the old inventory will not be made again after selling out because Leonard is looking to retire. That is unless someone wishes to take over the operation.
