The Greatest Tigers
The truly greatest Tigers of all time would have to be the 1981 National Championship Team. The team went an undefeated 13-0 and defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers 22-15 in the 1982 Orange Bowl. They were unanimously voted as the consensus national champions and coach Danny Ford was awarded coach of the year honors. Numerous members of the championship team went on to the NFL and collected multiple Super-Bowl rings, Pro-Bowl appearances, and MVP's.
