Habitat for Humanity and LAYLA in association with Clark Meyer Events and The Artist Movement are proud to present Habitat for Humanity’s official Spring Fundraiser Extravaganza!

The goal of this party is to raise money to help build and prepare a house for one deserving family here in Los Angeles. To do so, Habitat for Humanity requires volunteers to raise $5000 for each build day. The Green Door has graciously offered to donate 5% of net sales towards making a huge change to a family in the Los Angeles metro area.

GREEN DOOR is located at1429 N. Ivar Ave, Hollywood, CA

PLEASE try to arrive early (before 11:00PM) and with an equal amount of men and women to avoid lines and waiting.

To walk into Green Door is to be whisked away to another time or even another world. It has all the fixings of a turn-of-the-century French estate, with red velvet couches, iron tables, chandeliers, regal portraits and museum-worthy murals. There's an open-air stone lounge in front where people can smoke and eat, a circular salon in the back outfitted in dark wood, two bars, and hallways that wrap around the side of the building like a maze.The unmarked forest green entrance alludes to the exclusive vibe waiting inside the richly decorated lounge. Early in the evening, a smartly dressed dinner-hour crowd enjoys old Victrola favorites while eating steak frites, truffle mac and cheese, and sweet and savory crepes. Around 10pm, the parlor party picks up, as the cocktail-sipping masses start to crowd the overstuffed fainting couches.
