May 27th 2003, Sky vs Caledonian Conquerors

This certainly seems to be Alim's year so far. The young opener managed another 42 runs this time. Other contribution came from Naz (32 not out) and Shakeel (31). Our run rate kept hovering around the 10 per over mark throughout the inning and we ended up with 175 off our 16 overs.

Caledonian Conquerors had the best possible start and their openers hit out from the word go. Tariq was particularly severe on the bowlers and helped his way to a fifty. But once he went, so did the momentum. Shakeel's first over was a beauty as it ended up being a three wicket maiden. With the run rate slowing down, it all became a formality in the end. Everyone got to bowl as well. Another good performance. Keep it up guys !
