Clapp-Goodyear School PTO

Welcome Clapp-Goodyear Families!

Rainforest Reptiles

On Thursday and Friday of this week, the Clapp-Goodyear PTO was pleased to welcome Rainforest Reptiles!  Students in every grade attended small, grade-appropriate presentations which included lizards, turtles, and even a crocodile!  Because of the size of our population, the Enruchment Committee and PTO decided to double-up on the presentation time so the children would still get a small-group experience.  That meant these amazing creatures spent most of the day on Thursday and Friday in our school!  The cost for this academically enriching program which supports the Massachusetts frameworks in the area of Science was $1050.

Here, some fiftth graders pet "Lucy".                               Raise your hand if you love "Speedy!"
