CLAN CARROLL OF GALWAY

An Irish-American Family

           WELCOME TO THE CLAN

Every family has a story to tell.

Somewhere between the 1830's and 40's, my Irish ancestors came across the Atlantic Ocean from County Galway, Ireland to County Schuylkill, Pennsylvania.

My name is Loretta Murphy. I am a direct descendant of John and Betty (nee Gibson) Carroll from Parish Clonfert, County Galway, Ireland.

John and Betty's son, my great great great grandfather, Patrick and his family came to America by ship.

My great great grandfather, their son Charles, was part of that large family.  There are now many descendants scattered across the United States and possibly still in Ireland.

The whole amazing tale has yet to be told but watch here as the story unfolds!

Could you be one of my Carroll kin?
