not really a big deal if you have it, see there was a flaw in microsofts windows xp and 2000 (maybe ME or NT also, cant remember what one) The flaw was that an anti virus wasnt allowed to remove anything from a certain directory (the one with all of the nececary files) and so the virus plants itself there. The virus was meant as a wake up call that all microsoft cares about is their money and they amke big loop holes liek that. IF you get the virus just get the windows patch & dl the removal tool from your anti virus' site. If you have trouble getting the patch just get a MAC user or someone who doesnt have the virus to dl the patch and save it on a disk, unplug your modem or internet connection and then stick the disk in. RUn the patch and restart comp with internet on. Then you just have to dl the removal tool so you dont spread it to others. Have fun =) |
