8-23-08 ~ Al died on August 6th. Violet-Amelia Cornelia, the last Pixie's litter, died on August 14th.

6-11-08 ~ Louise Brooks and Barb died on June 5th. I've been slow to update due to a power outage a couple days ago. Lou's obituary is on the My Rats page. Will follow with Barb's and new(ish) pictures soon.

1-27-08 ~ Both Minty Bean and Sweety died today. They had long lives, and they seemed to go pretty peacefully.

1-20-08 ~ Ms. Cuddles the Curlytail died at 8:45pm.

7-1-06 ~ Feather Dumpling died around 7:15pm. She was six months old to the day.

6-26-06 ~ All the new rats are named by now. Louise Brooks, Beverly, Flower, Margarine, Little Memsaab, and Ratna. I've updated most of the existing profiles, and I'm adding the new profiles to My Rats for the new girls. I'm going to add new pictures for all the rats.

6-17-06 ~ I got six baby girls yesterday. Two are named so far. Louise Brooks and Beverly.

5-23-06 ~ Snow died in late April. I'm not sure of the exact date. I was on vacation at the time, and I've misplaced the paper I wrote the date on.

3-31-06 ~ I added pictures of the babies at exactly 3 months of age. I'm going to use some of them for the babies' pictures on the My Rats page.

1-30-06 ~ Macaroni, a true treasure, died peacefully around 2:00am. I updated the Ratty Look-A-Likes page with a picture of Macaroni and Heavenly Tuvalu. That page is kind of useless since I've only updated it twice, and also, we must admit that a lot of our precious rats look alike, but I'm going to keep it up anyway.

1-26-06 ~ I added the babies' profiles. Since they're so young, I'll update them again when I get to know them better.  I'll do Spotty Longtail Senior and Fancy Melvin Smellbot's soon.

1-24-06 ~ Eddievedder, father of Pixie's children, died sometime between 4:00 and 5:30 today. His obituary is up. Since I was on the My Rats page, I decided I'd get all the new rats' (the babies and Spotty Longtail Senior and Fancy Melvin Smellbot) profiles done. I'll do that within a few days.

1-21-06 ~ My camera is totally dead today, so no new pictures.

1-19-06 ~ I wasn't able to take pictures today. Check back tomorrow.

1-18-06 ~ Pixie had a tragic accident last night. While playing in my room, part of her tail was degloved. She had surgery to amputate the tip of her tail today and is doing well. She's a little groggy from the pain medicine, but she should be as good as new by tomorrow.

1-17-06 ~ Two new rat boys joined our household today! Spotty Longtail Senior and Fancy Melvin Smellbot came from our local Petco. I will get pictures of them soon and add their profiles to the My Rats page.

1-14-06 ~ It's difficult to photograph the babies now that they're older, which is why today's pictures are mainly shots of one or two babies at a time. All eyes are open today.

1-3-06 ~ I have been updating the Development page daily. You may notice a blue foot on one of the babies. That is non toxic marker, so I know that that baby is Pidge.

1-1-06 ~ Happy New Year! Pixie had a litter of seven babies on the 31st of December. I have created a page called "Baby Rat Development" to follow the babies' growth.

12-23-05 ~ Merry Christmas! I updated Ramona's Rainbow Bridge.

6-12-05 ~ As you can see, I updated this page. The newest text at the bottom of the page was rather annoying. I added something to the bottom of the homepage explaining my relationship with Freewebs. I deleted the Reviews page. It really had nothing to do with rats, and it hadn't been active in awhile. 6-9-05 ~ I am mentioned in the first article in the new RATS magazine. I'm not sure if the magazine is already available, but when it is it'll be in most pet stores. It's purple and has a large "RATS" right across the cover, so it's hard to miss. It's a very informative magazine, so for a whopping $9.99 it's worth purchasing.

5-18-05 ~ A huge update to the Pictures page today. 24 new pics! I also updated Snow and Pixie's profiles on the My Rats page.

5-14-05 ~ I updated Ramona's Rainbow Bridge.

5-10-05 ~ I updated Ramona's Rainbow Bridge, and added a page called About Ramona. The new page will tell you all about Ramona, every little detail, and help you understand Ramona and her stories in Ramona's Rainbow Bridge a lot more. I just added the first part, and the page will be under construction until I can get the next few parts up.

5-8-05 ~ The profiles are up. I'll update them when I know Pixie and Snow better. I have a bunch of pictures of Eddievedder, Stone, Pixie, and Snow that I need to add soon.

5-7-05 ~ Just short of two weeks after Whitey's death, we have two new ratties. Their names are Snow (Albino, one year old) and Pixie (Black rex, estimated to be about one month old), and they were adopted from Dawn. Snow is Whitey's sister, and Pixie is a rescue from a feeder bin. Profiles will be added soon.

4-26-05 ~ I am deeply saddened to anounce the death of my dear Whitey. She was one of the sweetest rats I've ever had the pleasure of owning, and she helped my mother get over her fear of rats, which had settled upon her after a string of rat bites. We miss our sweet girl already.

4-19-05 ~ Here at Claire's Rats we're expecting our very first litter very soon. As of now, Whitey is in her 20th day of pregnancy. Keep watch on the Baby Rat Journal, I've been updating feverishly, and there are several new pictures of pregnant Whitey.

4-14-05 ~ I added 11 pictures to the Pictures page. Every rat got at least one pic, except Whitey, who decided to hide in a box during picture time. I really need to update RRB, I know.

4-7-05 ~ I added two pictures to the Pictures page, and edited the My Rats page (Mainly fixed spelling errors and added certain rats' AKAs.) I've been updating Whitey's pregnancy/birth/baby rats website a lot, so make sure to go take a look at it. You can reach it by clicking Baby Rat Journal in the navigation bar. I'll try and update RRB soon.

4-2-05 ~ I added a link to my pregnancy/birth/baby rat website to the navigation bar on the left. I added three friends that I had left out of the About Me page (At the bottom), and did some all around editing to the About Me page.

3-31-05 ~ I am excited to announce that I have mated Eddievedder and Whitey, and if it works out, we will be blessed with our very first litter between the 20 and 24 of April. I've made a website documenting Whitey's pregnancy and birth, and you can view it by clicking here, or going to the Links page under the Affiliates section.

8-10-04 ~ I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile, I have been busy. I found out that my grandmother has cancer, and just now I came across a sickening website all about torturing rats. I feel sick.
