The first rat to grace our home came to us when I was six years old. My mother, brother, and I fell in love with the adorable little creatures, and we haven't been ratless since then. I imagine my life wouldn't feel as complete without rats. They're wonderful, smart, social animals, and they're much better than cats or dogs on my list.
I was born in Seattle, Washington, and moved to Texas when I was ten years old. I enjoy going to the dollar theater, listening to Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Sublime, and various other artists. I love traveling by plane, because it's a few hours of sitting in one place and silently observing the people around me. I love watching people. Human nature fascinates me. I take pictures everyday. Pictures of my family, rats, trees, cars, anything else you can think of, and yes, myself. I enjoy writing. I finished a book when I was about 12, and I had planned on trying to get it published. Reading it now makes me cringe, so there was a change of plans there. I appeared in an article in "RATS", a magazine about, you guessed it, pet rats. I only have a few friends, but I'm very close to all of them. I'm painfully shy until I get to know a person. Once I know you, I'm very loud. I've been told I'm funny in my own way, which I don't deny.
