7. Feeding
Requirements to maintain 2 year guarantee for genetic hip problems, (NO EXCEPTIONS).
First important issue is the feeding of your Great Dane. Always feed a food of 26% protein or less, this eliminates all puppy foods including the Large Breed Formulas. Your puppy will come to you eating an adult dog food. The principal behind this is to allow for a slower growth rate, which allows bone, cartilage, etc. to grow at an even rate. This slower even growth will not effect the size of your Great Dane at all. It helps to eliminate any hip or joint problems in the future caused by nutrition. Failure to comply with this could endanger your Great Dane as they get older, and void your guarantee of hips.
8. Final Requirements
a) Buyer agrees to provide Seller with photographs suitable for advertising and photocopies of all awards and critique along with the judge(s) name(s) and the Club sponsoring the show. NEGLECT AND/OR ABUSE at no expense to the Seller.
b) And Finally….Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Illinois, in the county of Jefferson It is agreed the place of venue shall be in Jefferson County, Illinois.
