I am Charlene Corrigan, I go to South Lincoln High School. I am in grade 11, and enjoy art. I also enjoy doing different activities such as colouring, writing poems and those kinds of time consuming hobbies. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family.Additionally, I love animals and when i think of art work i think of animals for some reason. To me, animals are beautiful just like art. I really enjoy looking at different kinds of art work as it is amazing to see what people are able to create, purely from their imagination.
As an artist i try to make my work as good as i can. I constantly push myself a little further each time i do a new piece of work. I think art is work that comes from the heart. Artists draw because of their mood and the final art work is the result of everything you have felt and put into your work. I relate happiness to flowers, hearts and bright colours. Arts is peoples ways of showing emotions. The responsibility of an artist is to catch the viewers attention and please their eye. Drawing also has to make sense and be easy to see in order for those viewing your art to be satisfied. My future direction in art is to maybe not become a perfessional artist, but draw for myself and those close to me. I would like to do art as part of a hobbie. I would also like to relate art to my relaxation and free time.
