Me with a rescued little friend, Fritz, who is now back where he belongs, in the wild. | My name is Cara Miles and I'm 26. I was born in Kent, England, but moved to Wales with my parents when I was 6. I now live in Pembrokeshire in a beautiful rural area down a 3/4 mile track (yes in the middle of nowhere) with my dog, 5 cats, parrot, 6 horses, and whatever wild animals that decide they need nursing! I have been drawing from a young age, only working with pencil, but have recently started to work with colour, which I thoroughly enjoy. By day I am a horse trainer, by night I draw/paint, and in my spare time I enjoy running, photography. |
| My main interest with drawing/painting is animals, but do now do many subjects, etc, vehicles, plants, people, and so on. I work towards detail in my artwork to produce drawings/paintings that are as realistic as I can make them, and also enjoy capturing the characters and expression of living things. |
