Circus of Doom

Carnaval de la Sûreté, a large hidden carnival for children of all ages to go to when they run away from home was very popular at the time. Found near Paris, France, all run aways knew that this was the place to go to get away from the real world and have some fun. Owned by a elderly multi-talented man, Terrance Antonie Lunvrick, the place seem harmless, with it's games and puppet shows. What people didn't know was that the kids who went there.....never came back again. They say there's a graveyard hidden behind the trees and plants near the carnival...but then again, there's tons of rumors about that old run down place.

No one knows why it was closed nearly 100 years ago....only that the rumors that follow it are too gruesome to repeat. The only one I'll tell you is this; a man is seen walking around the carnival. A man who looks almost exactly like Terrance Antonie Lunvrick, only much much younger.

Trail, an insane, homicidal maniac who was supposedly killed by the authorities is the man who roams the Carnival. He started it back up to lure kids to his clutches, so he could kill them.....for his own amusement. He fell in love with a semi-living rag doll he found in the Hall of Mirrors collecting dust and spiders. He named her Cleopatracaleseeicvalentiniasheska, Cleopatra for short, and became friends with a  Bobo, the Boogie Man.

<sub>When the carnival first opened a young Gypsy came for a Fortune telling job. She was slim, lean, strong, beautiful, and above all, a perfect gypsy. She quickly fell in love with her employer [Terrance Antonie Lunvrick] and soon found out his gruesome secret that all the missing children at the Carnival where missing for a reason, Terrance had killed them in the Hall of Mirrors. [Hence why you're not allowed inside] She told him the only way she wouldn't spill his horrible secret to the police was if he became her lover. Which he did, happily, for he had fallen for her beauty. These two lovers continued luring and killing young children, until one day Terrance had reason to believe he was being cheated on. He left her, and told her to leave the Carnival.

Well....that pissed her off something bad.  She put a curse on him afterwards, a curse on where Terrance had to walk the earth all eternity, continuing out what he had done with her help, [killing the children] trying to find his true love again.

What she didn't do how ever was inform the police that it was Terrance who was killing all those missing children. They came after him and sent him to his own death, soon burning down most of the Carnival. Heart broken and full of guilt for some reason, the young Gypsy made her way back to the abandoned Carnival thinking that her lover, whom she still loved even after being accused of cheating, was truly dead, forgetting all the about the curse she had put on him, and lived in the Hall of Mirrors, becoming friends with the spiders that came to her.

She too soon died, but before she did she had made a large Rag Doll in her time alone weeping for her lost lover. Her soul attached itself to the rag doll [Cleo] in order to find it's true love.

Terrance on the other hand, never died in the first place. The curse the Gypsy had put on him protected him from ever dying until he had found his true love again and realized his mistakes. He returned to the Carnival, a while after the gypsy died herself, her soul attached to the rag doll she made. Terrance found the doll sitting in the broken hall of mirrors and named her Cleopatracaleseeicvalentiniasheska [a.k.a Cleo] for by then Terrance had gone insane.

Because it had been nearly 100 years since "Terrance Antonie Lunvrick" was killed by the French Police, he changed his name to Trail, [TeRrance AntonIe Lunvrick] and reopened the Carnival....even though it was still a burned down dump.

Bobo "Boogie Man" came to Trail in a state of pure boredom, since most kids these days just didn't seem to be frightened of him anymore, and joined the trio.

Scott, Trail's first victim, continued to roam the Carnival making it even more of a dump with her trash can in one hand, throwing the contents everywhere she went almost like a flower girl at a marriage.

The Gypsy, who's soul was still inside the Rag Doll, followed Trail around everywhere, for she still loved him.</sub>

Bio: Trail owns the Carnaval de la Sûreté and runs it like it was never closed. Slowly but surly he lures small children and teens to their dooms. Falling in love with a semi-living rag doll, Trail is beyond insane and is a threat to all living creatures. No one knows why he's insane or why he started the carnival up. His first victim was a little girl who came to him pleading for a place to stay...Naturally he said yes. Now her spirit haunts him and the carnival. Trail has no eyes on his face, only a black cloth "eye patch" with a spider design on it covering the left side of his face mouth in all. He loves weapons, especially swords, which he seems to never run out of. If he doesn't use a weapon, he uses his hat which has the little leech shadow beast Terrance, his being, inside it, to attack. He uses that to capture his enemies, or kill them. What people don't know is that that "shadow" thing inside his hat is the REAL Trail. After being cursed, and then "killed by the police", his soul tried to leave his body, but was unable to because of the curse his ex-lover put upon him. Now his soul and being have been mixed into the shadows and darkness, allowing him to live thru things other could not.  He never seems to stop smiling, and he instantly kills who ever even touches his hat.

Trail's real name is Terrance Antonie Lunvrick, the same Terrance Antonie Lunvrick who opened Carnaval de la Sûreté in the first place. He was cursed by a Gypsy who worked as a fortune teller at the carnival for leaving her. He was in love with her but had reason to believe she was cheating on him so he left. Now his lifeless body roams the earth searching for her.

The only way to truly kill him is to burn his hat into nothingness, since that is where his being is now. But Cleo won't let that happen.

Personality: Quiet, stiff, scary, almost motherly, bizarre, mature, questionable, curious

Lover: Trail

Bio: She was found wasting away in the broken half of the Hall of Mirrors by Trail, who fell in love with her and gave her the bizzare name.  As a rag doll she can only walk and since her mouth is sown part way closed she can't speak. She makes mumbling noises. Her little friend, Fuji, is an eye with black wings and a little black flame above it. No matter where she goes there's spiders following her or resting on her dress/hair. She's able to control the spiders and the shadows of others to attack and do her bidding. Yet unknown to Trail or any of the others, the young Gypsy who had fallen in love with Trail nearly 100 years ago, who put the curse on him, it was her spirit is was inside Cleo. She follows Trail around, still madly in love with him even after everything that happened between them in the past.

Bio: Bobo, aka The Boogie Man, is just as I said...the boogie man. He loves to scare little kids and other people, but because of kids no longer believing in him, he had to find something else to do with his eternal life. He met Trail and joined his carnival then, to stay out of boredom. Most of the time he just hides and watches them all. During the daytime he's apperance changes, for everyone is only truly afraid of the Boogie Man at night, when it's to dark to see. Even still he's is found "creepy and frighting" to little kids when they meet him. Unfortunately, he ends up having to "watch over" Trail to make sure he doesn't eend up killing himself, or gets into too much trouble.

Species: Restless Soul of a Human

Personality: Playful, silent

Bio: Scott's parents died at what seemed to be a harmless prank by her friends on Halloween. She and her older brother lived with their aunt for one month before she ran away. It wasn't herself that convinced her, Scott's brother told her to run. Run or he'll kill her.

She ran away to the Carnival, wearing her Halloween costume. She ran into Trail and pleaded for a place to stay. "Stay. Stay as long as you want. Even forever, if needed." He said.

She was Trial's first victim. And she stayed on earth. Shes a spirit too afraid to face judgement. So she stays around the Carnival. She is without a body, and is mostly silent. Only seen around with a trash can dropping hand fulls of garbage on the ground to keep the place looking deserted. She is usually the first thing visitors see when they venture to the Carnival.
"Would you like to meet Mister Trail? He's always seemly nice.." she says with a smile.

Personality: Charming, strong, sly, a perfect gypsy, seductive, motherly, stern, sharp witted.

<sub>Bio: She fell in love with Terrance when the carnival first opened and found out his secret, that he was killing the children that came to him in the Fun House. She told him the only way she's not tell anyone was if he became her lover. And he did.

But soon later on she was falsely accused of cheating, and was thrown out of the carnival heart broken. She put a spell on Terrance for his misjudgment, until he saw his wrong doing and came back to her to apologize and take her love back.

He never did, and soon he had been caught and killed by the authorities. She had never loved anyone as much as she did him and never wanted anyone else, so she returned to the carnival which had been burned down mostly. She spent the rest of her life in the Hall of Mirrors becoming friends with the spiders.

She made a rag doll in her time alone, weeping for her lovers mistakes. When she too died, her soul attached itself onto the rag doll, not wanting to leave without hearing the words she longed to here from Terrance; "I love you still."

Almost 100 years she sat in the Hall of Mirrors, waiting, until one day someone came and found her. He called himself Trail, but she knew who it really was. It was Terrance. The spell which she had casted on him was still alive, and so was he because of it.</sub>

Bio: ONCE UPON A TIME, IN A SMALL CARNIVAL IN FRANCE, LIVED A MAN NAMED TERRANCE ANTONIE LUNVRICK. . .
He lived in a large mansion, right behind Carnaval de la Sûreté, welcoming in all run away children to his carnival and. . . "safe arms". Unbenounced to the children, Terrance had been hiding a secret from the world. Soon some found it out, and those who did were never seen again. Terrance was a serial killer, killing ANYTHING that breathes. . starting with these young children.

Later cursed by a betrayed ex-lover Gypsy Women, Terrance was finally caught by the French authorities and sentenced to his OWN death, to make up for the 365+ murders he committed. . . More then half of those children from ages 9-16. . .

As his body lived on from the curse by the Gypsy Women, his being tried to leave, but found incapable to. Instead his being became over the years a black, leech like shadow squid with glowing red eyes. His body, who had no name now, called itself Trail, and stuck Terrance in a hat, never letting it, or him, out of Trail's sight. Always stuck in that hat, Terrance's hatred for living creatures, and his own body Trail, grew. As well did his hatred for love, as his past haunts him to this very day. . .
