Cineblax is a new company which is all about making and distributing Digital Films. We want to change the concept of "The Old Boy's Network" in Hollywood. We're tired of hearing "No Chance"......your screenplay or movie has what we cal "No Comercial Value". Technology has changed everything when it comes to making movies. The same phenom has happened in the video camera catagory that we saw transpire iwith the still photograghy. Film has become an expensive alternative to taking digital pictures and printing them on your home computor. There are now afordable video camcorders which can make movies which have the same quality as a Hollywood Big Budget Movie, shot with a quarter of a million dollar camera rig. The playing field has changed! Anyone with a 1000 dollar camera and hopefully some talent can make a movie to rival anything that Indie Film Makers have made in the last 10 years. And if you really have some talent, you can make a film that is indistinguishable from a Hollywood big budget movie.
One boy’s journey to the top and back. This is the story of one boy’s rise to Rock Stardom and his realization that all the money and fame in the world does not guarantee true happiness.
In 1973 a boy had a dream of becoming a “Rockstar”. American Star is the story of this boy’s journey from a High School Talent Show to the top of the entertainment industry. There was never a better time to be a Rockstar than the 1970’s. It was a time when the term “Sex, Drugs, and Rock and Roll” was still politically correct. All the infamous tales of rock in the 70’s become a reality for this loner kid from the Midwest, but the real story is about how he finds that fame and fortune doesn’t provide automatic true happiness and his journey to then discover what does. American Star is a screenplay writen by Billy Csernits. Billy actually lived the rock and roll dream and played rock and roll during the time period that the movie takes place in, the 1970's. Below is a artical written by Billy regarding Hollywood and the crazy ways that the Hollywood studio execs still regard the indie film maker as a last option when evaluating the possibility of Green Lighting a new movie project. There are many parallels to the record business, when it comes to these execs adopting new and fresh ideas. As an example, even after the total colapse of the record biz....due to the internet and file sharing, the major record companies still have not come around to the realization that there are many other ways to generate profits. The Hollywood big wigs are very simular, in that they still are not grasping on to the fact that a kid like in the example below, can take a 1000 dollar camera and make a movie tralier that is virtually indistinguishable from their Hollywood multi million dollar studio project.
THE HIGH CONCEPT:
