Cindy Williams was born in 1960 in a small river town in Iowa, where she also grew up. She started out as a secretary in a small real estate and insurance business, staying there for six years. She then started working in the archives department of the world's first chiropractic college. While working in the library, she had the privilege of gaining her first insight into the writing world, with the book written there, Chiropractic: An Illustrated History. Since then she has played with the thought of writing down some of her own life experiences, but it would be years before she would actually put pen to paper.
Her husband, Bill, retired in 1997, and they moved to the Ozarks in south-central Missouri. They have been married for 28 years and have three children together: Billy, Jessica and Michael. They also have two daughters-in-law, Jesecca and Tammy, and six grandchildren, TJ, Billy III, Michael Jr., Melissa, Carrissa and Ahleah.
Cindy enjoys gardening, reading, taking pictures, and her greatest new hobby of writing. Under Our Bed is her first novel. She is currently working on book two, called Under Our Bed: The Wagon that lost it's Will. She has also been working on a psychological thriller, which will be a series of books taking place in the Ozarks, involving murder, suspense and intrigue. Make sure you watch for this exciting series!
