When Jesus said, “I will build My Church”, He meant exactly that - Jesus Building His Church His Way.
In these last days the Lord is restoring His Church according to the instruction and pattern revealed to us in the Holy Scripture by His Spirit. Soon the Bride will be ready for the marriage of the Lamb and then both the Spirit and the Bride will say, “Come!” and the Bridegroom will come to receive Her.
This is the Bride that He’s preparing today - a Church which is spotless and pure and after God’s own heart. A Church which is untainted not only from the stains and dirt of this world but even from the wisdom and tradition of men that imposes itself against the wisdom and ways of God Himself, striving to nullify His commandments. It’s a Church that hears His voice and follows Him no matter what the cost.
Only he who has ears to hear what the Spirit is saying will hear and obey. And obedience is the best sacrifice the Father looks for in us – it’s our worship in spirit and truth.
Let’s therefore, look afresh into the Word of God regarding what the Scripture says about the Lord’s Church and to seek Him in order to be not just hearers but doers of the Word.
May His Word and His Spirit lead and guide you. Amen!
