Something to think about
My Last Day on Earth
Let us ponder for the next few moments... really what if today was indeed my LAST day on this Earth.
What would be important today? What would we prioritizes as being the most important thing that needed to be done today?
Would the one thing that you have be meaning to get around to doing get done? Anything to straighten out that has been on hold?
Just another day? No, because after this one we have no more.
I am sure if we have any concern for others we would begin to check and see if there are any amends to be made. Place long neglected phone calls,
Or perhaps write a letter, pay a visit.
The one thing that I find interesting is that nearly everyone one ponders their last day from time to time, or lives with an awareness that tomorrow is not promised. Yet they go on living as if everything is alright between them and God, and with one another. There is no way Death can or will correct what we have a chance to do while we are alive.
Since we don't know when our last day will be.... LIVE EVERYDAY LIKE ITS YOUR LAST DAY ON EARTH!!!!
Thought for today
Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
There is really no need for a long explanation of this verse, either we are or doing this or we are not! Yes it is easy to say ' I do try to live peaceably, but there are some people that you just can't get along with no matter how hard you try'.
The question is who is the Christian ? Who is to be the example of the believers? If those professing to be saints of God, don't live out this principle, can we expect the sinner to do so?
Ask youself, what can I do to be peaceable? To everyone. Could I be the problem? Selah!
Remember the game, 'Hide and Go Seek' in which the seeker would yell, READY OR NOT HERE I COME? Rev.22:12
