Grange Park Country Dancers
|
|
Day and Time: Tuesday, 10 a.m. – 12 noon , Lower Hall
Age Range: 18+ to 80+
Membership is around 30, with average attendance 18-24, and is open to all who enjoy dancing. We have almost even numbers of men and women, as both sexes are equally welcome. You do not need a partner as nobody usually stays with the same person for every Dance. The weekly programme consists of Dances from 17th Century to Present Day with music from that early period to contemporary compositions. All the Dances are taught and reminder prompting calls are given as the Dance progresses. No special attire is necessary, just wear comfortable clothes and low-heeled footwear. (Absolute beginners may find it better to start on Friday evenings at ‘Dance English Country’ at CITO in the Orchard Hall.)
Grange Park Country Dancers is the weekly meeting of Winchmore Folk Dance Club that holds Monthly Dances every 2nd Saturday in The Bourne Methodist Church Hall, The Bourne, Southgate, N.14. |
