Luis's Chinese Tuition Lessons

Posted by Susan Wong on February 1, 2012 at 10:35 AM

My younger boy Luis flop his chinese badly last year.  So I had engaged a Chinese home tutor for him since last year December.  After having "warm-up" with his new teacher, he revealed his "true-self" to the tutor.

They will have their lesson at the dinning table in the living room and this was what I over heard a few weeks ago ~~~

老师:绍辉,用"恐怕"来造句。

绍辉:我最近很忙,恐怕不能上学了。

老师:不可以,不可以。。。。。(笑到。。。。)

我:-________-||| (啼笑皆非)

Then last week, another episode.  Luis was given 4 pictures where he was suppose to write a composition with.  In short, the pictures were about a blind man knocks on the door selling biscuits, so the boy in the picture bought a packet from him, simple.  The teacher guided him and asked him to imagine himself as the boy in the picture who opens the door ~~~

老师:盲人叔叔说 "小弟弟,可以买一包饼干吗?" 你接着怎么回答呢?

my hopeless son answered: 对不起,我不吃饼干。

I was trying my very best not to burst out laughing, until my stomach pain (I bet it's better than sit-ups).  The tutor was perhaps the most patient person I ever met in my whole life.  Of course, they completed the composition at the end, after much nonsense from my son, sigh....................

Gonna end blog with 2 bimbo pics~~

Mustard wool hair clip bought from China;

Mini knitted cardi from HongKong (long ago);

Tube maxi dress from Vietnam;

Cane bag from Taobao;

Stripy wedge from PrettyFit (the only item bought locally, hur hur..)

Cotton flora dress from TaoBao;

Green leather bag from Greece (a few years ago liao);

Pink wedges from Mitju.

And yeah, the other room is my little nail salon, those are part of my lacquer polishes ;)
