| Jade Carroll |

Name: Jade Carroll.
Age: 17.
Location: Australia.
Email address: jadis.moradis@gmail.com
Background:
I started writing in early 2004, mainly because I wanted to rewrite everything I saw (movies, games, books, etc.). I became so obsessive with the world I was seeing, that I eventually sat down writing fan-fictions, which in turn gave birth to my own character (Zephyr Leoné), and eventually my own world. It wasn't long before I started writing scenes in class, every night before I went to bed, etc. Working with friends on the story became my social life.
I always wondered why games/stories/movies never had warriors competent with staves as the main hero, which is why I was so fascinated with the weapon. When I started writing the Chronicles of Zephyr, early 2004, I wanted to create a detailed world, where the reader could imagine every little thing, without all the clichés. Alongside my friends, who were keen to help me with the story in any way possible, we eventually came up with a cast and plotline that we felt wasn't -too- clichéd.
As for the future, I've just finished my schooling at Canterbury College, and am now studying a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Behavioural Sciences at Griffith University. I also have every intention of finishing these stories and publishing them, but I won't get ahead of myself. I hope you enjoy this site! ^_^

| Benjamin Dowling |
Name: Benjamin Dowling.
Date of Birth: November, 1988. Email Address: Undisclosed. Background:
Benjamin Dowling was never really an
author, per se, but we always bounced our ideas off him. He also doubles as an editor, and if
something ever conflicts or is hard to understand, he’ll always point it out
and help work out a solution. Ben’s
character of focus is Raziel, and Ben was the one to suggest Raziel heading the
Empyreans after Zephyr broke away. This
decision was essential in determining the plot for Eternally Retold (and Hellbound), and is the
reason the Empyreans were changed to become enemies to the half-angels.

| Joel Malone |

Name: Joel Malone
Date of Birth: 1988 Email Address: undisclosed Background:
Joel Malone is responsible for the
character of Leon Necredor. At the time
of the creation of the Chronicles of Zephyr, we were all writing our own little
scenes and fan-fictions. I was so
impressed with Joel’s style of writing that I spent an entire night writing
scenes with him before asking him if he would like a part in tCoZ. Joel is responsible for a lot of the
essential elements of the story, none of which I approved of at first. I wanted to write a realistic story; Joel
wanted Leon
watching a blade as he floated over it (fight with Sir Marcus Ferling). I didn’t want unnecessary deaths; Leon was an
assassin. I wanted a fantasy setting;
Joel wanted Leon
hanging upside-down from a cross (as seen in Eternally Retold). After stewing the thoughts a little, we came
up with the concept of the half-angels, which Leon played an essential role (as
the “other side”). Leon’s assassin nature leads to the darker
elements in the story, including the academy slaughters, and especially Illyria. Leon plays a pivotal
role in Hellbound (representing Hell whilst Zephyr represents Heaven). Leon is, despite less coverage, as
important, if not more so, than Zephyr.
Nearly every scene involving Leon was written entirely by Joel. |

Background:
I was impressed with Jade's writing when i first read tCoZ and due to this i wanted to participateand actively help. I had originally planned to just help proof read and offer ideas to help out but decided to write up a character profile for Dex and to write a scene for him. I offered Dex to Jade to use as a minor character but Jade was impressed with Dex and his scene and asked me to write more scenes involving Dex and before we knew it, he had become a major character. I had planned on him filling the role that Franz fulfils in the story but he ended up developing into half-angel. Dex wasn't involved for very long and was killed off relatively fast, but we both agreed that he had a lot of potential, thus the concept of rebirth for the half-angels was born. Some other scenes i have written include ‘Dex vs Raziel,’ ‘Dex vs Zephyr’, the foiled assassination attempt by Illyria and others. |
