Christopher J Orton-Composer/Lyricist

             Christopher J. Orton is 26 years old and hails from Chepstow, South Wales. He began his career as a composer and lyricist at the age of 18, whilst studying opera at The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and then musical theatre at The Royal Academy of Music in London. Since then he has gone on to write six musicals, four with co-lyricist Robert Gould, one with librettist and lyricist Gareth Evans and one with librettist Andre Paul Spring. He also has two more musicals on the way as well as numerous cabaret songs for every occasion. He is currently working with vocalist Charlie Parris on a new album.
