Abortion has been a primary tool to seduce conservative Protestants into Pro-Roman theology and politics. The political argument is made in conservative circles, that since abortion is legalized murder, any extreme is justified in stopping it, including over-throwing the government, and establishing Vatican rule over the United States.  Of course, the entire argument is not only unbiblical, but anti-biblical and based on a lie which directly challenges the definition of life clearly spelled out in the Bible (by presumably God assuming a conservative's belief in inspiration) as reported by the entire body of history of the original monotheistic prophets of Israel.  It is also an argument of deception based on a known and admitted historical HERESY.  That heresy is known as TRADUCIANISM.  And yes, despite the attempts by some to claim otherwise now, in defense of their error. It is a HERESY, and always has been.  Heresy, because it is anti-biblical, and thus, is also sin.  Willful sin, of course, is a repudiation of one's authenticity as a disciple or follower of the REAL CHRIST.  So, consequently, these people are part of the umbrella of the Roman delusion.  Anyone can be for or against abortion for any number of reasons, but corruption of the plain fact of scriptures, and history, and the advocacy of a fully known historical heresy, to support the lie that abortion is not wrong, but murder, murder, (in order to be in compliance with the Papacy) is delusion plain and simple. They also ironically, for the most part, rabidly promote the other element of Rome's agenda, which is compulsory worship of it's sun-god Idol born on, and commemorated through, the solar-mass of December 25th.  These two things are not unrelated either doctrinally or historically.  These corruptions emerge from the same gnostic prophets Augustine was so fond of, who were vegetarian desert ascetics who thought the death of a sperm cell was also "murder", and worshiped the "Sophia", which later became the Roman cartoonish icon "Virgin Mary".  These unbiblical distortions have their origin in eastern polytheism, and while Hitler too was a "vegetarian" Traducianist, he was certainly not "pro-life".

QUOTE: The law of homicide in the Torah, in one of its formulations, reads: "Makkeh ish..." "He who smites a man..." (Ex. 21:12). Does this include any many, say a day-old child? Yes, says the Talmud, citing another text: " yakkeh kol nefesh adam" "If one smite any nefesh adam" (Lev. 24:17) - literally, any human person. (Whereas we may not be sure that the newborn babe has completed its term and is a bar kayyama, fully viable, until thirty days after birth, he is fully human from the moment of birth. If he dies before his thirtieth day, no funeral or shivah rites are applicable either. But active destruction of a born child of even doubtful viability is here definitely forbidden.) The "any" (kol) is understood to include the day-old child, but the "nefesh adam" is taken to exclude the fetus in the womb. The fetus in the womb, says Rashi, classic commentator on the Bible and Talmud, is lav nefish hu, not a person, until he comes into the world. Feticide, then, does not constitute homicide, and the basis for denying it capital-crime status in Jewish law - even for those rabbis who may have wanted to rule otherwise - is scriptural. Alongside the above text is another one in Exodus that reads: "If men strive, and wound a pregnant woman so that her fruit be expelled, but no harm befall [her], then shall he be fined as her husband shall assess...But if harm befall [her], then shalt thou give life for life" (21:22). The Talmud makes this verse's teaching explicit: Only monetary compensation is exacted of him who causes a woman to miscarry. Note also that though the abortion spoken of here is accidental, it contrasts with the homicide (of the mother) which is also accidental. Even unintentional homicide cannot be expiated by a monetary fine. (82) - Rabbi Feldman on the TORAH

Hos 13:16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.
Hos 2:4 And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they be the children of whoredoms.

Musonius, In reference to Augustinian legislation of 28 BC and 9 AD: -The lawgivers, who had the same task of searching out and finding what was good for the city and what bad, and what helped or harmed it, did not they also consider that it was most beneficial to their cities to fill the houses of the citizens, and most harmful to deplete them? They considered that childlessness, or small families, of citizens was unprofitable, while to have children, and in fact many children, was profitable. Therefore, they forbade the women to abort and attached a penalty to those who disobeyed; secondly they forbade them to use contraceptives on themselves and to prevent pregnancy; finally they established honors for both men and women who had many children and made childlessness punishable. -Fragment 15a

Spiritual Rome has used the "Pro-life" movement to seduce many Protestants into it's theology by offering citations from it's "Early Church Fathers" to prove abortion is "murder".  What these misled Protestants never seem to understand is that these citations are necessary because the plain and historical text of the Bible flatly denies the claim.  So obviously so, the Halakah Jewish law, even during the time of Christ defined the beginning of life as when the head emerges from the womb.  A definition never contradicted by the New Testament. In fact, Christ made it clear that you had to be "born-again", not "conceived again" and openly and flatly equated the "Spirit" to BIRTH, not "conception".  James 2:26 Explicitely states the body without the spirit is "dead".  Even the definition of the word "Spirit" and "Soul" itself (if this were not obvious enough) means THE BREATH OF LIFE....that takes place AT BIRTH. (used over 700 times in the Bible)

Pagan Rome had outlawed abortions even before Christianity had ever arrived on the scene, and it had nothing to do with the fact it was murder, and everything to do with Rome being the "consumer" of Human life.  As a "consumer" of human life, the more "human life", the better, just like a farmer who always needs more chickens and pigs, Rome, the "consumer  of human life" always needs more.  Population lowers labor costs for the empire and increases it's numerical strength for waging wars.  Rome's calculation on the question of "abortion" was solely on the side of the Roman State, over the God-given rights of any and all Parents.  End of story.  Nothing has changed in Rome, except they have a few more deluded Protestants worshipping their idols.

Evangelicals have been so sucked into this movement that they have put this issue even above an honest read of the text of the scriptures.  Abortion is irrelevent to a godly Protestant, who will in all probably never need one, excepting some odd medical condition.  It is irrelevant to the scriptures, where both the unwed mother and her unborn child were stoned to death, together

Deu 22:21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

..and it is certianly irrelevent to a gospel that praises a father Abraham for sacrificing his son.

Jas 2:21,22 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

In the scriptures, parental rights were total and absolute.  To the extent of actually even having the right to exercise capital punishment or even to more shocking extreme of relgious sacrifice ...of their children!!! After they were fully born even!  The life of the child belonged to the PARENT, not the STATE.  This sounds odd to modern societies, but the same modern societies that reached the agreement with Rome to allow the empire to own the life of the children, stood by while Rome wrecked havoc on families and children for centuries. The same medieval grunts who stood by and watched women die from pregnancy complications and murdered any doctor who attempted to rescue her through an abortion procedure, were the same who were butchering and slaughtering adults they deemed "heretics" and confiscating children from Jewish parents to "save them".   Go on any debate board and simply observe the violent, murderous, hate-filled rhetoric of these "pro-lifers" and you will quickly realize there is nothing "pro-life" about them.  They without fail will call for the murder of anyone and everyone who "disagrees" with them, just as their historical predecessors did in the inquisitions.  HITLER was ANTI-ABORTION too, and it hardly made him "pro-life".

Bedoiune society was primitive and often remote.  Parents had the right and responsiblity of the life of the child, or no one did.  And if you wish to incite the Bible on the subject, the very least you could do is give the courtesy of being honest with your congregations about it.  The sacrifice of the child was not the "sin", as is dishonestly claimed by these ministers, it was sacrificing it to a pagan deity, that was the problem.

Jdg 11:30,31,35,36 And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands, Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD'S, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering. And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back. And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.

But to heretical pro-lifers none of this matters.  They are much more concerned with their anti-abortion rally than anything the Bible has to say about it, and the only time the Bible is actually consulted on the matter is to figure out how to twist and turn these verses like a finger puppet doing Olympic gymnastics to get them to say what is simply and obviously not there in any text.  The "Pro-life" movement has become nothing more than a theological code word for "Catholic evangelism" to seduce otherwise Biblically oriented evangelicals into the apostate absurdities of Rome's spiritual fascism.  And the Vatican knows it is intentionally using this deciet as a "tool" to seduce evangelicals all over the world, and they protect their "golden egg" to the extent of even threatening damnation for their own members who fail to vote for it satisfactorily.   The same RELIGIOUS-REICH ministers that sit around and make a hobby out of chasing relgious minorities with the bully pulpit, do not even so much as squeak, over the idea of "salvation by political affilition" or the correct wrist action in a voters booth.

The fact that the Pro-life movement has become a gaint suction hose for Rome is now even being admitted by conservative "Pro-life" Pastors, who find themselves in the middle of a mess they created with their own doing by adopting this phony Roman theology, they wish to force onto the pages of a Bible for no other reason than their own political success.

QUOTE: the pro-life movement has been one of the key factors, if not the key factor, in desensitizing Christians to the danger and sin of accepting the Roman Catholic Church as Christian. In More Than These, Pastor Ovadal begins with the Second Vatican Council of 1962-1965 and documents how the Roman Catholic Church has systematically used the pro-life movement, with the help of Christians, to advance its ecumenical strategy. In the writing of this book, Pastor Ovadal drew from his own extensive experiences working in virtually every area of the pro-life movement, beginning in the late 1970s and including the rescue movement. His years spent as a Christian radio and television program producer and host on a nationwide network provide an added perspective shared by few people. More Than These is also based on research from a wide range of sources, some of which are unavailable to all but a relatively small group of pro-life activists.  This book details how Roman Catholic influence and even doctrine has permeated the pro-life movement, including street-level activist ministries, Christian radio, the pregnancy center networks, and the hearts of major Christian ministries. It documents the damage that such influence has had on the cause of Christ, including actual stories of Protestants converted to the Roman Catholic Church due to Christians being involved in pro-life ministry with Catholics. END QUOTE - Pastor Ralph Ovadal, More Than These, A Call For Reformation, Pilgrims Covenant Church

There is nothing more hypocritical than to watch TRADUCIANISTS rant and rave about "cults" like Jehovah's Witnessess and Seventh Day Adventism (i.e., "cult" a derogatory word for any relgious minority no matter how noble ethically or true to the scriptures theologically), while they sit back and cite Roman devil worshippers and necromancers like Ambrose and Irenaeus, and defend a Roman Pope (who calls himself God) and recieves "worship", and never blink an eye.  It is mind-boggling on every level and caused by nothing more than the shear blind Idolatry of their political ambitions to own and run the country as politicians, rather than remain humble servants of God who faithfully teach the scriptures and minister to souls.

The academic level of integrity is either wholly absent altogether, or dishonestly ignored in that Traducianism (the very core doctrine of the "pro-life" movement) has been openly condemned as a heresy (even in Catholic church history), and it's new modified heresy "Neo-Traduciansim" is nothing more than a cheap trick to avoid the technical wording of condemnations against Traducianism.  The Bible teaches the soul is created at birth, at the "breath of life", that is what is clearly taught and was clearly understood for millenia, until the "pro-life" movement decided it needed to "fix it" to bolster it's politics.

And Rome's own unbiblical preoccupation with the wombs of women come straight from it's own perversions of "Mother-Child" worship, another amazing trend among these psuedo-catholic Imammgelicals (the worship [i.e., code word "veneration"] of "Mother-Mary")  The Bible never tells anyone to "venerate" anything except God.  And it is not accident, that the same people who wish to use compulsion to force the world to worship the Image of The Beast, are obsessive-compulsive ...Hitler.

But just because consequences are not what one wishes, does not mean the content of historical and Biblical fact should be smothered, suppressed, distorted and dismissed to keep a firm grip on our "delusions" that we prefer to make more important than God himself. Abortion is not defined as "murder" neither in "man's law", nor in Biblical law. It is however, uniquely in ROME'S law, since it's old Empire, and one of the best reasons, these political efforts should receive no collaboration from any faithful Protestant who accepts the Scripture as their authority for faith and practice.

The clear willful disobedience of Nicolaitan ministers to this text, choosing any method on earth other than the one clearly specified, is a tribute to the shear evidence of their comical delusions of avoidance and suppression.

"The Antichrist", usually erroneously & colloquially, meaning the one culminating the political-religious power of the Antichrist movement, signified by the name 666;

The ONE indicated specifically by a name with 3 sixes (Rev 13:18), and speaking "ex Cathedra" (2Th 2:4) from Rome (Rev 17:9 ). Fulfilled in Pope Sixtus III, whose name was literally 666, translated from Latin being "Sixth III" in English, and whose 7+ year reign fulfilled 40 prophecies concerning the coming of the Antichrist, including half-way through his rule, an Abomination of Desolation (December 25th 167 BC = December 25th 435 AD), a promise of peace with the Jews followed by betrayal (Theodosian II Codex), control of all buying and selling in the world , sign of miraculous fire from heaven [The "Holy Fire"] in Jerusalem (Rev 13:13 ), an "Image" (Idol) of Apollyon for which he demanded worship (Rev.9:11), a sudden death from spiritual causes (2Th 2:8), and astronomical confirmation in the heavens (Rev 13:1). The odds of just ten of these prophecies fulfilled in any other person are zero to the 13th decimal.  So why is his identity "hidden", avoided, and denied, despite his unmistakable name and fulfillment of prophecy? "Christ-Mass". He also instituted Idolatry and the worship of Apollyon as the Christ-Idol, December 25th, 435 CE.  And his Solar-Mass to Apollyon now called a "Christ-Mass" is "the reason for their treason".

The identification of this man as "the man of sin" is so unmistakable, Rome itself, does not display his name on their own plaque of Popes on Saint Peter's basilica.  1 John identifies "the antichrist" as connected to the same "Nicholaitans" he mentions in Rev.2:6,15.  That connection historically was through a man by the name of Cerinthus (identified as a Nicolaitan), of whom it was said, his disciples were the first to practice the solstice worship, merging Apollo and Christ into a cognate symbolic deity, rather than a literal Christ of flesh and blood.  The Nicolaitans invented "Christ-Mass", thus their own "Saint Nicholas" is still referred to this very day, as the "patron Saint" and "Father of Christmas".  John called this THE ANTICHRIST, and POPE SIXTUS III (literally the name 666) instituted the Nicolaitan's very "Christ-Mass" as Roman law.  It was prophesied to Ephesus that not only was THE ANTICHRIST among them, but that the ONE he also refeers to by 666, would COME TO THEM in the future.  Pope Sixtus III was a primary figure in the council of Ephesus (emerging from this very council of Ephesus), whereupon the second council at Ephesus, his own personal theologian Eutychus went on public record completely denying the flesh of Christ, literally.  Ephesus today, is no longer in existence, and this prophecy was fulfilled as it was written, including a man by the literal name of 666.  It literally can be fulfilled by no modern "cover-story" scape-goat antichrist, nor the customary later fraudulent offerings by Masonic and Roman Babelists of Jews, Mulsims or Atheists (that Christ-Mass "Christians" love to hate anyway) as is claimed.  "Christ-Mass" is "the reason for the treason".

Because it was believed by many (including Masons) that the "Antichrist", as taken from Daniel, would be the "King of the North", Masonic and Roman Nicolaitan Babelists, who attempted to fulfill both the demonic and divine (Christ and Antichrist) in their occultism and who worship a mixture of God and Satan, introduced "Santa Clause" from "the north pole", symbolically the "Antichrist" from the "king of the North", sitting in his throne.

Prophecies concerning "666", the Antichrist, and the "son of perdition" are historically contexted by their prophecies making them impossible to be fulfilled by any modern substitutes through many elements contained within the prophecies themselves. All of which are intentionally ignored, or suppressed, to maintain the deception to the general public. Matthew 24 is not about the end of the world, it is about the end of Israel and specifically in regard to the initial question asked by the disciples, when would the Temple BE DESTROYED.  Judea no longer exists. There is no travel on donkey, horseback or camel impeded by breastfeeding or the Sabbath, or winter, and people do not "come down from their rooftops" anymore.  To apply these statements to modern Israel and the end of the world is either outright dishonesty or extreme stupidity, and is a stretch no honest objective observation would accept.  The city of Ephesus, to whom the statement was made, that the Antichrist was present and coming, no longer exists, and literally can no longer be fulfilled. Ephesus is a pile of ruins in Turkey, inhabited by no one.  There are no "Ephesians" anymore. Sixtus III not only went TO EPHESUS, but it was at this very city, his own personal theologian went on record completely denying the flesh of Christ, creating one of the most embarrassing scandals in "Church History".  Roman Solar-Mass Protestants perpetrating frauds to avoid and suppress this information from the public are public liars in servitude to the Antichrist and his festival that emerged from this very city, worship his image, and bear his mark.

All the other pop-culture fabrications for "the Antichrist", most of which can be traced directly back to Rome itself and it's own "counter-reformation" or it's own apostate early "Latin Fathers" (some of whom themselves were Nicolaitans), are "cover stories" to hide these truths from the general public. Even among so-called "Protestants", this name (Sixtus III), despite it's astronomical, mathematical and statistical improbability, is completely stepped over, to "find" other plausible"schemes" for THE ANTICHRIST, (some bordering on the outright comical) for no other reason than to avoid impugning their own pet theologies involving and embracing Rome's Solar-Mass to Apollyon now called a "Christ-Mass".  This historical "cover-up" (by both Romanists who embrace Pope Sixtus III, and Masons, who promote Cerinthus, his theological source) is one of history's greatest scandals, and the reason for so much "contradiction" between what is claimed by institutional (governmental) "Christian" religion, and what is realized in the practice of "Christ-Mass" (supported by both secret societies from Rome and England).  The patently false explanations, and false "prophecy schemes" offered by these sources, as their cover story to hide and protect the identity of this obvious prophetic elephant, is victimizing the general population, not only spiritually, but financially, and intellectually, and blinding them to one of the most important and eternally critical truths in the Scriptures. And for such betrayal to the Christian public that have wrongfully put their trust and their confidence in their ministries, there is no excuse ever imagined in heaven or earth that will suffice or justify such treason, against both God and humanity.

ARMILUS - The Jewish Perspective Of The Antichrist From Rome

Apollo, Apollyon, Apollon

"APOLLYON. The Greek name, meaning "Destroyer," given in Revelation 9:11 for "the angel of the bottomless pit" (in Hebrew called Abaddon), also identified as the king of the demonic "locusts" described in Revelation 9:3-10...In one manuscript, instead of Apollyon the text reads "Apollo," the Greek god of death and pestilence as well as of the sun, music, poetry, crops and herds, and medicine. Apollyon is no doubt the correct reading. But the nameApollo (Gk Apollon) was often linked in ancient Greek writings with the verb apollymi or apollyo, "destroy." From this time of Grotius, "Apollyon" has often been taken here to be a play on the name Apollo. The locust was an emblem of this god, who poisoned his victims, and the name "Apollyon" may be used allusively in Revelation to attack the pagan god ... " - Anchor Bible Dictionary

Apollo came to the Greco-Roman world from the Hurrian and Hittite divinity, Aplu.  Aplu, comes from the Akkadian Aplu Enlil, meaning "the son of Enlil", a title that was given to the god Nergal, who was linked to Shamash, Babylonian god of the sun. de Grummond, Nancy Thomson (2006) "Etruscan Myth, Sacred History, and Legend". On the occasion of a pestilence in the 430s BC, Apollo's first temple at Rome was established in the Flaminian fields, replacing an older cult site there known as the "Apollinare".[1] During the Second Punic War in 212 BC, the Ludi Apollinares ("Apollonian Games") were instituted in his honor, on the instructions of a prophecy attributed to one Marcius.[2] In the time of Augustus, who considered himself under the special protection of Apollo and was even said to be his son, his worship developed and he became one of the chief gods of Rome.[3] After the battle of Actium, which was fought near a sanctuary of Apollo, Augustus enlarged Apollo's temple, dedicated a portion of the spoils to him, and instituted quinquennial games in his honour.[4] He also erected a new temple to the god on the Palatine hill.[5] Sacrifices and prayers on the Palatine to Apollo and Diana formed the culmination of the Secular Games, held in 17 BCE to celebrate the dawn of a new era.[6] - WIKIPEDIA (1,2) - Titus Livius (Livy), The History of Rome, Book 25 D. THE WORSHIP OF THE SERPENT, by John Bathurst Deane (1833, Classic)

Main Entry: Anach·ro·nism
Pronunciation: \ə-ˈna-krə-ˌni-zəm\
Function: noun
Etymology: probably from Middle Greek anachronismos, from anachronizesthai to be an anachronism, from Late Greek anachronizein to be late, from Greek ana- + chronos time
Date: 1617
1 : an error in chronology; especially : a chronological misplacing of persons, events, objects, or customs in regard to each other
2 : a person or a thing that is chronologically out of place; especially : one from a former age that is incongruous in the present
3 : the state or condition of being chronologically out of place

A primary tool in textual criticism used to spot later interpolations into texts of antiquity and historical time-lines.  Anachronisms, along with OOPAs (out of place artifacts) occur in virtually every field in which the past is studied from archeology to literary antiquity to anthropology.  Main stream scholarship usually treats these anomalies by simply ignoring them, if the source and cause of their existence is unknown, and the frequency of occurrence can be reasonably ignored.  In some cases however, these anomalies serve as the basis for new theories which seek to reconcile them will all the known data, or serve as "evidence" among fringe researchers, for "conspiracy theories".

Anachronisms can be caused by a number of factors in ancient texts: (1) It can occur in sacred texts due to translation from one language or dialect within a language, to another at a later date, in which cognate terms are selected but have different dates of origin  (2) They can occur as a result of Interpolation (an intentional attempt to insert a newer text into an older one.  (3) An intentional use of a non-cognate term in a translation to mask the original intent.

The difference between these three types of Anachronisms are important, as they can indicate the occurrence of deliberate deception, rather than simply honest efforts of linguistic transmission.  Several anachronisms are found in the English translation of the Bible.  Two particular examples discussed on this site, are the theological terms: "Church" and "Easter".

Gen 11:2-9  And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.  And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole Gen 11:7  Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.  So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.  Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Babel , from Babylon,
capital city of Babylonian empire, late 14c., from Heb. Babhel (Gen. ix), from Akkadian bab-ilu "Gate of God" (from bab "gate" + ilu "god"). The name is a translation of Sumerian Ka-dingir. Meaning "confused medley of sounds" (1520s) is from the biblical story of the Tower of Babel.

1 : Confusion of language (example; "Psycho-Babble" from "Babble-Babel"); specifically : empty contradictory rhetoric of appearant sophistry but which says nothing true or of value
2 : A fundementalist theory concerning the origins of language based on young earth creationism interpetations of Genesis 11

3 : A theological euphemism for the political-theological behavior of "Christian" Imperial Fascism, such as the Nazi Third Reich, expressed in the New Testament term "Mystery Babylon"; and/or the network of public institutions and secret societies coordinated to impose uniformity to create or protect an Empire using religion, (esp. "Christian") as a political weapon of oppression and injustice.

4 :  Religious;  Cleric (blind ambition) Ambition to "make a name for one's self" by building a "tower to heaven" and deceptively calling it "the gate to God" to manipulate common people in order to obtain power and money.

An insult: "He's such a Babelist he would sell his own grandmother to have his tower to heaven"

5 : Generally; The unethical politicizing and/or commercialization (i.e., prostitution) of religion for selfish personal, corporate or institutional gain, profit or power.

Main Entry: Be·witch
Pronunciation: \bi-ˈwich, bē-\
Function: verb
Date: 13th century
transitive verb
1 a : to influence or affect especially injuriously by witchcraft b : to cast a spell over
2 : to attract as if by the power of witchcraft : enchant, fascinate <bewitched by her beauty> -Websters

Act 8:9-11  But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:  To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries

Bewitched: ἐξίστημι, existēmi, pronounced: ex-is'-tay-mee ; to put (stand) out of wits, that is, astound, or (reflexively) become astounded, insane: - amaze, be (make) astonished, be beside self (selves), bewitch, wonder. - Strongs

Sorceries: μαγεία, mageia, pron. mag-i'-ah, “magic”: - SEE SORCERY.

Main Entry: MAG·IC
Pronunciation: \ˈma-jik\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English magique, from Middle French, from Latin magice, from Greekmagikē, feminine of magikos Magian, magical, from magos magus, sorcerer, of Iranian origin; akin to Old Persian maguš sorcerer

The use of sorcery to pass itself off as the "Power of God" is an ancient practice in Christianity that dates as far back as the New Testament itself.  The very KIND of sorcery (HERE Specifically PERSIAN, "μαγεία") being practiced by SIMON was institutionalized by ROME as "Christ-Mass".  The "Solstice" craft, mentioned in Jeremiah 10 is PERSIAN in origin, originating from Persia's very Gan Edin region mentioned in Genesis.  Simon "Magus" as well as the word "Sorcery" in THIS text (not being the same as "Pharmakia") is a reference to PERSIAN "magik" practices, and are the historical origin or Rome's very "Christ-Mass".  The mixing of practices of "commerce" (buying and selling spiritual things for money) are noted from the beginning with this kind of "sorcery", first noted here in Acts8:9-11.  This is what Rome's Pope Sixtus III (666)  actually institutionalized, and made mandatory throughout the entire empire,  in 435 CE as "Christ-Mass".

The intentional use of occult symbolism and ritual (from PERSIA) is employed at "Christ-Mass" in the "name" of "Christ", in everything from it's "Solstice date" to it's "Fig/Fir tree", to it's Baal Balls, to it's Lucifer lights, all intentionally designed to reflect back to Persia's Gan Edin, and the "tree of knowledge" (serpentine enlightenment) damned by God in Genesis 3.  Many think the "spiritual effect" all this "produces" is the result of "the power of God", just as the people of Samaria, had mistaken it, in the 1st century CE, in Acts 8:9-11.

Main Entry: blas·phe·my
Pronunciation: \ˈblas-fə-mē\
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural blas·phe·mies
Date: 13th century

1 a : the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God b : the act of claiming the attributes of deity
2 : irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable

GREEK: βλασφημία

From G989; vilification (especially against God): - blasphemy, evil speaking, railing.

From a derivative of G984 and G5345; scurrilous, that is, calumnious (against man), or (specifically) impious (against God): - blasphemer (-mous), railing.

G984  βλάπτω
A primary verb; properly to hinder, that is, (by implication) to injure: - hurt.

G5345  φήμη
From G5346; a saying, that is, rumor (“fame”): - fame.

G5346  φημί
Properly the same as the base of G5457 and G5316; to show or make known one’s thoughts, that is, speak or say: - affirm, say. Compare G3004.

 G5316  φαίνω
Prolongation for the base of G5457; to lighten (shine), that is, show (transitive or intransitive, literal or figurative): - appear, seem, be seen, shine, X think.

G5457   φῶς
From an obsoleteφάω phaō (to shine or make manifest, especially by rays; compare G5316 and G5346); luminousness (in the widest application, natural or artificial, abstract or concrete, literal or figurative): - fire, light.

Mat 12:31-35  Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

The Tree - Mat 7:17-19  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

The Serpent - Gen 3:4-5  And the serpent said..., Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

The Treasure (gift) - Gen 3:6-7  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

The pattern of the "Christ-Mass Tree" (originally the Persian "Yalda Tree"), imported into Rome from Persia's Gan Edin (Garden of Eden) is designed to literally duplicate all three of these elements of original blasphemy.  Occultists such as Shirley McClain consider it an "energizing affirmation" to repeat statements of "blasphemy".  This "confusion" (Babel) is the result a long history of symbolic conditioning implemented in societies and religions throughout the world, through the work of past Empires, and their "secret societies" which have engineered the social customs and rituals of not only western Christianity (per example, in Christmas), but even prior Synagogue Judaism, and later the Islamic Mosque movement,  as well.

In all three apostacies, the original founders and their subsequent families were murdered to establish "Babelism" and it's doctrine of "confusion" (exchanging God for Satan) in their symbolism and teaching.  In Judaism, the original prophets were murdered to establish the Bamah house movement (Synagogues),

Mat 23:31  Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

in Christianity, the literal family of Christ were murdered to establish "The Church",

The COMPLETE and UNIVERSAL execution of every blood relative of Christ known to ROME was accomplished by the seventh century, along with all known JEWISH believers. - Malachi Martin, former Jesuit Priest, p. 44, The Decline And Fall Of The Roman Church,

and even in Islam, Muhamed's own direct family descendents were literally thrown out into the streets undressed, to confiscate his home, and turn it into a "Mosque" by the Caliph, who had imported "Christian Masons" to construct it's building (which was then shortly thereafter sturck by lightening and burned to the ground) [See the video link below]

The "doctrine" of Babelism, is at it's core a form of "Blasphemy", and nowhere is this more evident that in the practice of "Christ-Mass", once dedicated to the worship of Satan, now done "in the name of Christ", though virtually the same rituals, symbols, and even deity.

In definition 1b, the actual confession of the Papacy itself ( literally, a blasphemous statement) has been institutionalized by Rome, and made the actual "confession of faith" for every Catholic in the world. [See Video link below for a full presentation of this issue]

Babelism has incorporated itself into all the government controlled religions of the world, and all three forms of monotheism are no exception to this rule.  For Protestant Christians, who have the clearest example of "the calling out" (ecclesia) in the example of the New Testament Christ, and the historical reformation, coming out from this secret institutionalized devil worship, especially in the practice of Rome's "Christ-Mass" should be a non-sequitur from the start (as it once fully was).  No minister should really be permitted to the grace themselves with the term "Protestant" of "Evangelical" who defends this institutionalized practice of blasphemy, from the darkness of medieval fascist Rome.

From the base of βάσις; profound (as going down), literally or figuratively: - deep, very early.

From βαίνω bainō (to walk); a pace (“base”), that is, (by implication) the foot: - foot.

BIBLICAL DEFINITION - The spiritual realm of the dead undefined by the reaches of normal space-time limitations, thus virtually "bottomless" like the depths of the deep sea. The linguistic imagery merged both the idea of the "grave" or place of the "dead", with the limitless of the depths of the deep ocean.  Both mental pictures of the "Deep Sea" and the "Grave", remained present in it's usage.

Main Entry: Brain·wash·ing
Pronunciation: \ˈbrān-ˌwȯ-shiŋ, -ˌwä-\
Function: noun
Etymology: translation of Chinese (Beijing) xǐnǎo
Date: 1950
1 : a forcible indoctrination to induce someone to give up basic political, social, or religious beliefs and attitudes and to accept contrasting regimented ideas
2 : persuasion by propaganda or salesmanship - Webster's Online

A remarkable thing about cult mind control is that it's so ordinary in the tactics and strategies of social influence employed. They are variants of well-known social psychological principles of compliance, conformity, persuasion, dissonance, reactance, framing, emotional manipulation, and others that are used on all of us daily to entice us: to buy, to try, to donate, to vote, to join, to change, to believe, to love, to hate the enemy. Cult mind control is not different in kind from these everyday varieties, but in its greater intensity, persistence, duration, and scope. One difference is in its greater efforts to block quitting the group, by imposing high exit costs, replete with induced phobias of harm, failure, and personal isolation.- Phillip G. Zimbardo, Ph.D

KEY COMPONENTS IN "MIND CONTROL" USED BY RELIGIOUS CULTS (Here applicable to the largest global cult, Roman Catholicism)

"CONTROL OF BEHAVIOUR" - Compulsory Christmas Law
"CONTROL OF THOUGHTS" - Christmas Propaganda / Compulsory observance through the work place & educatinal institutions
"CONTROL OF EMOTIONS" - Mass Media monopolizing with "Emotion" based messages

Each component has a powerful effect on the other two: CHANGE ONE AND THE OTHERS WILL TEND TO FOLLOW. When all three change the individual undergoes a complete change. Festinger summarised the basic principle:

"If you change a person's behaviour, his thoughts and feelings will change to minimise the dissonance."

When there is a conflict between thoughts, feelings or behaviour, then those in conflict will change to minimise the contradiction. This is because a person can only tolerate a certain amount of discrepancy between these components which make up his identity. In cults this dissonance is created to exploit and control them.

Steven Hassan, author of Combating Cult Mind Control, added a fourth component to Festinger's:

  • "CONTROL OF INFORMATION" - Accomplished through CENSORSHIP of "negative messages"

By controlling the information one receives you can control and restrict the individual's ability to think for himself. You limit what he is able to think about.

Robert J. Lifton's research showed that:

"These criteria consist of eight psychological themes which are predominant within the social field of the thought reform milieu. Each has a totalistic quality; each depends upon an equally absolute philosophical assumption; and each mobilises certain individual emotional tendencies, mostly of a polarising nature. Psychological theme, philosophical rationale, and polarised individual tendencies are interdependent; they require, rather than directly cause, each other. In combination they create an atmosphere which may temporarily energise or exhilarate, but which at the same time poses the gravest of human threats." (Thought Reform & the Psychology of Totalism, p. 420)

The eight marks noted by Lifton are:

1. MILIEU CONTROL -- Control of the Environment and Communication.

The control of human communication is the most basic feature of the thought reform environment. This is the control of what the individual sees, hears, reads, writes, experiences and expresses. It goes even further than that, and controls the individuals communication with himself -- his own thoughts.

Everything other than "Christ-Mass" is excluded from the individual , the media and the public square. "Christmas" appears to be omnipresent. "Santa" knows everything that is going on. Reality is their exclusive possession. In this environment the Child is deprived of the combination of external information and internal reflection required to test reality and to maintain a measure of identity separate from his environment. The Child or even dissenting adults can feel victimised by his controllers and feel the hostility of suffocation -- the resentful awareness that his striving toward new information, independent judgment and self-expression are being thwarted.

2. MYSTICAL MANIPULATION -- The "Miracle" and "Magic" of "Christ-Mass".

This seeks to provoke specific patterns of behaviour and emotion in such a way that these will appear to have arisen spontaneously from within the environment. For the manipulated person this assumes a near-mystical quality. This is not just a power trip by the manipulators. They have a sense of "higher purpose" and see themselves as being the "keepers of the truth." By becoming the instruments of their own mystique, they create a mystical aura around the manipulating institution -- the "Church", "Secret Santa's","Toys for Tots", etc. They are the chosen agents to carry out this mystical imperative.

3. DEMAND FOR PURITY -- Everything is "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays".

"Merry Christmas", not "Happy Holiday", or ELSE!

Pure and impure is defined by the Christmas defenders of America. Only those ideas, feelings and actions consistent with "Christmas" ideology and policy are good. The individual conscience is not reliable or valid. The philosophical assumption is that absolute conformity to Christmas is attainable and that anything done in the name of this purity is moral. By defining and manipulating the criteria of purity and conducting an all-out war on Christmas dissent (especially) the Christmas-Solstice cult creates a narrow world of guilt and shame. This is perpetuated by an ethos of continuous demand for more and more public conformity, the demand that all Americans strive permanently and painfully for something which not only is not legally possible but is alien to the American way of life.

Under these conditions the dissenters can expect humiliation, ostracism and punishment because of their inability to live up to the totalitarian religious demand of Rome's Idol worship and are expected to live in a constant state of guilt and shame, inflicted and reinforced on their own children through Christmas propaganda like "Scrooge" and "Grinch". Since "Christmas" is the ultimate judge of good and evil, this guilt and shame is used to manipulate and control Americans. "Christmas" becomes an authority without limit in the eyes of Catholic worshipers and their power is nowhere more evident than in their capacity to "forgive" sins at Mass.

All impurities are seen to originate from "outside" (America's pluralism and Protestantism). Therefore, one of the best ways to relieve himself of the burden of guilt is to denounce these with great hostility. The more guilty he feels, the greater his hatred, the more hostile is his denouncement. Organizationally this eventually leads to purges of "heretics" in politics, business, and social organizations, inciting mass hatred and religious "Christmas" wars. Catholics will point to the mistakes of all other belief systems while promoting their own "Christmas". This gives the impression that their Catholicism is perfect, clean and pure as a people or group.

4. CULT OF CONFESSION -- Reporting to leadership "Christmas" activity of other Americans.

"Going to CHURCH" on "Christ-Mass" is closely related to the demand for "Christ-Mass" by all society. "Christ-Mass" is carried beyond the ordinary religious, legal and commerical expressions to the point of becoming a cult in itself. In totalist hands, "Christmas" becomes a means of exploiting, rather than offering solace.  "Christmas" is an act of self-surrender, the expression of the merging of the individual and environment. There is a dissolution of self, talents and money. Conformity  to "Christmas". The cult of "Christmas" has effects quite the reverse of its ideal of total conformity; rather than eliminating personal depression in society, it increases and intensifies it.  The individual becomes caught up in continuous conflict over which "Christmas traditions" to preserve and which to surrender, over ways to surrender lesser demands and ways to protect more important ones.  The cult of "Christmas" makes it virtually impossible to attain reasonable balance between worth and humanity.

5. SACRED SCIENCE -- Absolute "Truth".

"It's all over the WORLD!"  Everyone MUST do it!!  Their "Christmas truth" is the absolute truth. It is sacred -- beyond questioning. There is a reverence demanded for "Christmas". "Christmas" is the answer. Only to them, is given the revelation of it's "Christ-mass".  The ultimate moral vision becomes the ultimate science and the person who dares to criticise it, or even think criticism, is immoral, irreverent and "unscientific".  The assumption here is not so much that man can be God, but rather that man's IDEAS can be God.  This gives sense of security to the "Christmas" keeper. They are confident "Christmas" is the answer to the most difficult problem or question.

6. LOADING THE LANGUAGE -- Thought terminating cliches.

Everything is compressed into brief, highly reductive, definitive-sounding phrases, easily memorized and easily expressed.  There are "good" terms which represents the groups ideology and "evil" terms to represent everything outside which is to be rejected. Totalist language is intensely divisive, all-encompassing jargon, unmercifully judging. To those outside the group this language is tedious -- the language of non-thought.

"Christmas is about 'Christ'", Christ is "The Reason for the Season", America is  CHRISTIAN COUNTRY! Peace on earth, goodwill toward men! Etc., etc., Christ-Mass has a whole catalog of these propagandizing (thought terminating) slogans.

7. DOCTRINE OVER PERSON -- Doctrine supersedes human experience.

It really doesn't matter whether you want to do "Christ-Mass" or not, you MUST... or be fired, alienated from family, attacked by your "Church", etc.  The ideological myth merges with their "truth" and the resulting deduction can be so overpowering and coercive that it simply replaces reality. Consequently past events can be altered, rewritten or even ignored to make them consistent with the current reality. This alteration is especially lethal when the distortions are imposed on the individual's memory. They demand character and identity of a person be reshaped to fit their clone of mentality. The individual must fit the rigid contours of the "Christmas" mould instead of developing their own potential and personality. The underlying assumption is that the doctrine -- including its mythological elements -- is ultimately more valid, true and real than is any aspect of actual human character or human experience. The individual under such pressure is propelled into an intense conflict with his own sense of integrity, a struggle which take place in relation to polarised feelings of sincerity and insincerity.  Absolute sincerity is demanded by the "Christmas" group yet this must be put to one side when changes take place the individual has to deny the original belief ever existed. Personal feelings are suppressed and members must appear to be contented and enthusiastic of "Christmas" at all times.  Some "Christmas" cultists believe that all illness during the "Christmas season" is a result of lack of faith and evidence of sin in your life. These things have to be prayed away and societal "cause and effect" naturally caused by "Christmas practices" are ignored as a "sign of faith."

8. DISPENSING OF EXISTENCE -- Who is worthy to live.

The DEATH that Christ-Mass causes is seen as "just providence" and it really doesn't matter if the practice is actually killing people.  They also decide which history books are accurate and which are not.  Those in the "Christ-Mass are worthy of life; those outside worthy of death. The outsiders can be permitted to live if they change and become an insider. Family members live in fear of being pronounced "dead" to the rest of the family, if they renounce "Christ-Mass". They have a fear of annihilation or extinction. The emotional conflict is one of "being vs nothingness".

Existence comes to depend upon the "Christmas" creed (I believe, therefore I am), upon mission (I obey "Christmas", therefore I am) and beyond these, upon a sense of total merger with the hierachy of the secret society, or "Christmas Church". Should he stray from "Christ-Mass" his right to group approval or even membership, his right to employment, his right to custody of children, or even legitimacy of existence within a family, may be "terminated".

It is NO ACCIDENT, that "Charles Dickens" was used as a TOOL, for "Christmas propaganda".  His story was designed, and promoted with the actual claim to "Christ-Mass" promoters, it was based on his skill at Mesmerism, and would "Mesmerize" his audience into accepting "Christ-Mass".  It was clearly an early attempt at "brainwashing" and "mind control" using mass media.

CAESAROPAPISM: the concept of combining the power of secular government with, or making it supreme to, the spiritual authority of the Christian Church; most especially, the inter-penetration of the theological authority of the Christian Church with the legal/juridical authority of the government; in its extreme form, it is a political theory in which the head of state, notably the Emperor ('Caesar', by extension an 'equal' King), is also the supreme head of the church ('papa', pope or analogous religious leader).

The Rise of Christian Fascism and Its Threat to American Democracy

By Chris Hedges

We must attend to growing social and economic inequities in order to stop the most dangerous mass movement in American history -- or face a future of fascism under the guise of Christian values.

Dr. James Luther Adams, my ethics professor at Harvard Divinity School, told his students that when we were his age -- he was then close to 80 -- we would all be fighting the "Christian fascists."

The warning, given 25 years ago, came at the moment Pat Robertson and other radio and television evangelists began speaking about a new political religion that would direct its efforts toward taking control of all institutions, including mainstream denominations and the government. Its stated goal was to use the United States to create a global Christian empire. This call for fundamentalists and evangelicals to take political power was a radical and ominous mutation of traditional Christianity. It was hard, at the time, to take such fantastic rhetoric seriously, especially given the buffoonish quality of those who expounded it. But Adams warned us against the blindness caused by intellectual snobbery. The Nazis, he said, were not going to return with swastikas and brown shirts. Their ideological inheritors had found a mask for fascism in the pages of the Bible.

He was not a man to use the word fascist lightly. He had been in Germany in 1935 and 1936 and worked with the underground anti-Nazi church, known as the Confessing Church, led by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Adams was eventually detained and interrogated by the Gestapo, who suggested he might want to consider returning to the United States. It was a suggestion he followed. He left on a night train with framed portraits of Adolf Hitler placed over the contents of his suitcases to hide the rolls of home-movie film he had taken of the so-called German Christian Church, which was pro-Nazi, and the few individuals who defied the Nazis, including the theologians Karl Barth and Albert Schweitzer. The ruse worked when the border police lifted the tops of the suitcases, saw the portraits of the Führer and closed them up again. I watched hours of the grainy black-and-white films as he narrated in his apartment in Cambridge.

Adams understood that totalitarian movements are built out of deep personal and economic despair. He warned that the flight of manufacturing jobs, the impoverishment of the American working class, the physical obliteration of communities in the vast, soulless exurbs and decaying Rust Belt, were swiftly deforming our society. The current assault on the middle class, which now lives in a world in which anything that can be put on software can be outsourced, would have terrified him. The stories that many in this movement told me over the past two years as I worked on "American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America" were stories of this failure -- personal, communal and often economic. This despair, Adams said, would empower dangerous dreamers -- those who today bombard the airwaves with an idealistic and religious utopianism that promises, through violent apocalyptic purification, to eradicate the old, sinful world that has failed many Americans.

These Christian utopians promise to replace this internal and external emptiness with a mythical world where time stops and all problems are solved. The mounting despair rippling across the United States, one I witnessed repeatedly as I traveled the country, remains unaddressed by the Democratic Party, which has abandoned the working class, like its Republican counterpart, for massive corporate funding.

The Christian right has lured tens of millions of Americans, who rightly feel abandoned and betrayed by the political system, from the reality-based world to one of magic -- to fantastic visions of angels and miracles, to a childlike belief that God has a plan for them and Jesus will guide and protect them. This mythological worldview, one that has no use for science or dispassionate, honest intellectual inquiry, one that promises that the loss of jobs and health insurance does not matter, as long as you are right with Jesus, offers a lying world of consistency that addresses the emotional yearnings of desperate followers at the expense of reality. It creates a world where facts become interchangeable with opinions, where lies become true -- the very essence of the totalitarian state. It includes a dark license to kill, to obliterate all those who do not conform to this vision, from Muslims in the Middle East to those at home who refuse to submit to the movement. And it conveniently empowers a rapacious oligarchy whose god is maximum profit at the expense of citizens.

We now live in a nation where the top 1 percent control more wealth than the bottom 90 percent combined, where we have legalized torture and can lock up citizens without trial. Arthur Schlesinger, in "The Cycles of American History," wrote that "the great religious ages were notable for their indifference to human rights in the contemporary sense -- not only for their acquiescence in poverty, inequality and oppression, but for their enthusiastic justification of slavery, persecution, torture and genocide."

Adams saw in the Christian right, long before we did, disturbing similarities with the German Christian Church and the Nazi Party, similarities that he said would, in the event of prolonged social instability or a national crisis, see American fascists rise under the guise of religion to dismantle the open society. He despaired of U.S. liberals, who, he said, as in Nazi Germany, mouthed silly platitudes about dialogue and inclusiveness that made them ineffectual and impotent. Liberals, he said, did not understand the power and allure of evil or the cold reality of how the world worked. The current hand-wringing by Democrats, with many asking how they can reach out to a movement whose leaders brand them "demonic" and "satanic," would not have surprised Adams. Like Bonhoeffer, he did not believe that those who would fight effectively in coming times of turmoil, a fight that for him was an integral part of the biblical message, would come from the church or the liberal, secular elite.

His critique of the prominent research universities, along with the media, was no less withering. These institutions, self-absorbed, compromised by their close relationship with government and corporations, given enough of the pie to be complacent, were unwilling to deal with the fundamental moral questions and inequities of the age. They had no stomach for a battle that might cost them their prestige and comfort. He told me, I suspect half in jest, that if the Nazis took over America "60 percent of the Harvard faculty would begin their lectures with the Nazi salute." But this too was not an abstraction. He had watched academics at the University of Heidelberg, including the philosopher Martin Heidegger, raise their arms stiffly to students before class.

Two decades later, even in the face of the growing reach of the Christian right, his prediction seems apocalyptic. And yet the powerbrokers in the Christian right have moved from the fringes of society to the floor of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Forty-five senators and 186 members of the House before the last elections earned approval ratings of 80 to100 percent from the three most influential Christian right advocacy groups -- the Christian Coalition, Eagle Forum, and Family Resource Council. President Bush has handed hundreds of millions of dollars in federal aid to these groups and dismantled federal programs in science, reproductive rights and AIDS research to pay homage to the pseudo-science and quackery of the Christian right.

Bush will, I suspect, turn out to be no more than a weak transition figure, our version of Otto von Bismarck -- who also used "values" to energize his base at the end of the 19th century and launched "Kulturkampf," the word from which we get culture wars, against Catholics and Jews. Bismarck's attacks, which split Germany and made the discrediting of whole segments of the society an acceptable part of the civil discourse, paved the way for the Nazis' more virulent racism and repression.

The radical Christian right, calling for a "Christian state" -- where whole segments of American society, from gays and lesbians to liberals to immigrants to artists to intellectuals, will have no legitimacy and be reduced, at best, to second-class citizens -- awaits a crisis, an economic meltdown, another catastrophic terrorist strike or a series of environmental disasters. A period of instability will permit them to push through their radical agenda, one that will be sold to a frightened American public as a return to security and law and order, as well as moral purity and prosperity. This movement -- the most dangerous mass movement in American history -- will not be blunted until the growing social and economic inequities that blight this nation are addressed, until tens of millions of Americans, now locked in hermetic systems of indoctrination through Christian television and radio, as well as Christian schools, are reincorporated into American society and given a future, one with hope, adequate wages, job security and generous federal and state assistance.

The unchecked rape of America, which continues with the blessing of both political parties, heralds not only the empowerment of this American oligarchy but the eventual death of the democratic state and birth of American fascism.

Give a priest an inch and he will take an ell [sic] of a lot. He does not learn casuistry for nothing. Under cover of the need of abbreviation he has deleted whole paragraphs, even columns of facts which were offensive to him because they flatly contradicted what he said or wrote, and then, possibly fearing that he had cut out too much, he inserted sentences or paragraphs which "put the Catholic point of view." He has taken phrases or paragraphs of the original writers of the articles and, while r[e]taining their initials, he has repeatedly turned them inside out or has said that "recent research" (the gymnastic of some other Catholic apologist) has corrected his statements. And I say that for an encyclopedia to allow this and not candidly explain it to the public but even try to prevent the Catholics disclosing it is a piece of deception. in defense of the state's observance of Christ-Mass, it was openly declared and publically recorded in our own Public Congressional Record (Congressional Record E13461 December 14, 1971), that Christ-Mass was neither a "Christian" holy day, nor begun by Christianity.

"As Christmas comes down to us today it is a rich heritage of customs, traditions, folklore, and legend, drawn from many lands and people --- The idea of celebrating on or about December 25 was born among ancient people long before the birth of Christ.  In Rome, it was the 'dies natalis invieti solis'- the birthday of the unconquered Sun.  In the same manner, other customs originally pagan in origin have been assimilated into our Christmas heritage -- the decorative tree, the glowing candles, the story of Santa, stockings by the fireplace, greeting cards, yule logs -- all are now associated with the birthday of Christ."

1. (a) A belief system, (b) an individual or (c) it's body of adherents which are Characterized predominantly by the Protestant Free Church movement in Post-Reformation Europe and early America, which called for a separation of Church and State, rejecting the European Parochial-State Church, and it's associated oppression of individual religious freedom and liberty, in matters of faith and conscience.

2. A post-Evangelical period appropriation of the term primarily by conservative or right-wing political operatives, for primarily political purposes, to merge Church and State in previously Free-Church America, under the restored rule of the Roman Vatican.  Historical obfuscation being it's primary goal in appropriating the term, (leading intentionally to the above condition as demonstrated in the Ellison Research poll).

3. A purely political subterfuge term appropriated by advocates and agents (often operating in Protestant institutions  or circles) for the restoration of the Vatican's Roman Reich, referring to the voter block which advocates "Christian Nationalism", "Neo-Traducianism Roman-Catholic heresy", use of violence to achieve political dominance in abrogation of free elections in the ideology of Benito Mussolini fascism, promotes disintegration or Balkanization of the United States as a country through state secessionism, and uses opposite-speak and utilitarian deceit as religious doctrines, insisting on the obfuscation of the historical term to include it's opposite definition of Roman Catholicism, and which has historical and ideological origins in the American Nazi movement.  (NOTING IT'S USE OF "MIXING OPPOSITES": Publicly it promotes pro-Israeli political policy and anti-Islamic rhetoric to earn it's kudos from it's target audiences, but privately collaborates with Islamic political, financial and oil interests in the United States and internationally, and is implicated by many private research groups,  in actions precipitating the actual attack on America during 9-11.  Members of this alliance formerly associated with the CIA, in charge of the task force to catch Osama Bin Laden,  have stated publicly their belief that Osama Bin Ladin's attacks against America were "America's only hope" to become the kind of militant police-state needed to rule the world (i.e., Reich, meaning rejecting Geneva conventions and Civil Rights for it's citizens guaranteed under the Protestant framed Constitution and the Bill Of Rights).)

: of or relating to a church that is not an established church<the American free-church system>
— free–church·ly adverb

The term "free church" refers to a Christian denomination that is intrinsically separated from government (as opposed to a theocracy, or an "established" or state church). A free church does not define government policy, nor have governments define church policy or theology, nor seeks or receives government endorsement or funding for its general mission. The term is especially relevant in countries with established state churches.

The Free Church is a pattern that evolved in the Americas, while much of Europe maintains some government involvement in religion and churches via taxation to support them and by appointing ministers and bishops etc., although free churches have been founded in Europe outside of the state system [1][2]

Protestant historians would typically argue that this is historically what the Christian church was before Emperor Constantine and the State church of the Roman Empire, see Early Christianity, and did not appear again until the Protestant Reformation in groups such as the Calvinists and some particular radical movements such as the Anabaptists. - Wikipedia

GRINCHING - Definition,
(1)  Promotion of "Derogatory labeling", such as "Scrooge" or "Grinch" in reference religious, philosophical and ethnic minorities that are conscientious objectors to Rome's solar-mass and it's use of compulsion for homogeneous public enforcement.
(2) "Derogatory labeling", such as "Scrooge" or "Grinch", often directed at civil rights, religious freedom, and first amendment advocates, as "Grinch" in an effort to avoid rational discussion, logic, theology, history or reason about the legal, moral or ethical value of a "position" [most often used by proponents of State-funded, and State-enforced compulsory Christmas laws and the removal of the Constitutional provisions of separation of Church and State]
(3) "Derogatory labeling", such as "Scrooge" or "Grinch", directed at ethnic or religious minorities to create "prejudice","systemic discrimination", and "persecution" using Rome's solar-mass as the "common characteristic" to persecute.

"Grinching" is also stage 3 of the "Genocide Process".[Dehumanization: Comparison of target group to Animals/Insects] See below - Genocide Watch, The International Alliance To End Genocide, By Gregory H. Staten, President Genocide Watch

There is extensive evidence for the role of social categorization in the development and maintenance of prejudice and discrimination. People tend to experience less positive affect toward members of the out-group, remember more negative information about out-group members, and are less helpful toward out-group than in-group members (see Brewer & Brown, 1998).- Journal of Langauge and Social Psychology, Ethnic Minority Labeling, Multiculturalism and Attitudes of Majority Group Members

Language both shapes and reflects social reality. Discriminatory language is therefore both a symptom of, and a contributor to, the unequal social status of women, people with a disability and people from various ethnic and racial backgrounds...Language is a major vehicle for the expression of prejudice or discrimination. Some of the major forms of discriminatory language are:
• Extra Visibility or Emphasis on Difference
• Stereotyping
A stereotype is a generalised and relatively fixed image of a person or persons belonging to a particular group. This image is formed by isolating or exaggerating certain features; physical, intellectual, cultural, occupational, personal, and so on which seem to characterise the group.
Stereotypes are discriminatory in that they take away a person's individuality. Although they may reflect elements of truth, these are usually misinterpreted or inaccurate owing to oversimplification. The status of minority groups in society is often adversely influenced by use of stereotypes.
 Derogatory Labeling
The discriminatory nature of derogatory labels used to describe members of minority groups is often obvious. However, derogatory labels are still commonly used, and must be avoided.
• Imposed Labeling
A characteristic often shared by minority groups is their lack of power to define themselves. Often the names and labels by which they are known, whether derogatory or not, have been imposed on them. Imposed labelling may be inaccurate and may also be alienating for the groups it supposedly describes. - - The University of Salford, Guide to Non-Discriminitory Language

Hate speech, for example, is a form of verbal aggression (→  Verbal Aggressiveness ) that expresses hatred, contempt, ridicule, or threats toward a specific group or class of people ( Asante 1998 ). Hate speech encompasses verbalizations, written messages, symbols, or symbolic acts that demean and degrade, and, as such, can promote discrimination, prejudice, and violence toward targeted groups. Hate speech often stems from thoughts and beliefs such as hatred, intolerance, prejudice, bigotry, or stereotyping ( Allport 1954 ). Common forms of hate speech include ethnophaulisms, racial slurs and epithets, sexist comments, and homophobic speech (→  Prejudiced and Discriminatory Communication ). MARK (of the Beast)

Along with th usual inventory of disinformation concerning the certain Roman identity of the Antichrist, comes the expected intentional distortions and mutations concerning the "Mark of the Beast", the actual definition of which, is as equally transparent (and intentionally obscured) in Biblical literature, as the definition of the Antichrist itself.  Roman Revisionists have no other means at their disposal of protecting their golden calf, than to fabricate falsehood concerning the concrete and static perimeters of these ancient texts. So that is what they do. And perhaps aside from the comical scapegoats they offer to serve as "the Antichrist" in their place, there is no greater display of intentional corruption, than concerning the discussions of the phrase the "mark of the beast", a phrase the meaning of which is fully known.

Mark - "Charagma", not "Micros" (the actual origin of the term "Micro" as in "Micro-chip"), and actually in use in the writing of the New Testament.  The "Charagma" is an emblem, a logo, a badge, and a term closely related to the term "carving" used of an idol. Not a "Micros"

From the same as G5482; a scratch or etching, that is, stamp (as a badge of servitude), or sculptured figure (statue): - graven, mark.

From “charasso” (to sharpen to a point; akin to G1125 through the idea of scratching); a stake, that is, (by implication) a palisade or rampart (millitary mound for circumvallation in a siege): - trench.

A primary verb; to “grave”, especially to write; figuratively to describe: - describe, write (-ing, -ten).

If the term had anything to do with a "Micro-chip", the term used in the Bible which is literally the origin of our own modern English phrase "Micro-chip" would have, could have been used, but it wasn't, meaning precisely what it appears to mean.  That is NOT what it is.

Mat 5:19  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

1Co 4:3  But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.

1Co 15:9  For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

The superlative of ἔλαχυς elachus (short); used as equivalent to G3398; least (in size, amount, dignity, etc.): - least, very little (small), smallest.

μικρός, μικρότερος
mikros  mikroteros
mik-ros', mik-rot'-er-os
Apparently a primary word, including the comparative (second form); small (in size, quantity, number or (figuratively) dignity): - least, less, little, small.

Mat 11:11  Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Mar 4:31  It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
Mar 4:31  ὡς κόκκῳ σινάπεως, ὃς ὅταν σπαρῇ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, μικρότερος πάντων τῶν σπερμάτων ἐστὶ τῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς·

Luk 7:28  For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

Luk 9:48  And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

The terms μικρότερο or ἐλάχιστόν  (Micro-chip) would have been used if that is what John had been describing, but that is not the term that is used. Everyone with a free Bible program can find this, so this is certainly within the most basic knowledge set of any minister, regardless of denomination.  There are just some people who are intentionally choosing to lie about something here.

Rev 19:20  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Diminutive from the same as G2339; a dangerous animal: - (venomous, wild) beast.

From θήρ thēr (a wild animal, as game); hunting, that is, (figuratively) destruction: - trap.

The use of the term "BEAST" was a reference to the ROMAN EMPIRE.  There is nothing ambiguous about it's meaning, unless someone works really hard to make it that way.
The term is used also of THE SERPENT (Thus implying all that Gentile Imperial Serpent-Sun worship as embodied in the contemporaneous Roman empire at the time of writing implied)  Gentile "Empire religion" was polytheistic, monolithic and homogeneous throughout the empire adopting the same basic system to localized cognates; Serpent, Sun, Tree, Idol (gods), Temple.  This was the religious system of THE BEAST (meaning the ROMAN EMPIRE).  Because obviously the EMPIRE killed anything that it felt threatened by, (Like a dangerous animal), including believers who preached a "kingdom of God" in contrast to ROME'S PONTIFF MAXIMUS.

The phrase itself, like many other phrases, were a play on words in the New Testament, contrasting the Greek phrase the "Preaching of the Kingdom" (of God) which was audo-phonetically similiar in Greek.

"CHARAGMA of the THERION"              "KERUGMA of the THEOS"

Rev 19:20  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Act 20:25  And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

"Mark of the Beast" was an OPPOSITE to "Preaching of the Theos", so obviously the Antonymn bore an intended relationship.  Both were "messages" that were 'received" an RESULTED IN A "BRANDING".  For the follower of the REAL CHRIST, they were SEALED, for the follower of the FALSE CHRIST of the ROMAN EMPIRE, they were MARKED.

Eze 9:6  Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
Eph 4:30  And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Rev 7:3  Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads

Gen 4:15  And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain,
Rev 14:9  And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Rev 13:16  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads

When you RECEIVE THE MARK OF GOD, you do so by having faith, or choosing to follow (believe in) THE PREACHING OF GOD, when you RECEIVE THE MARK OF THE BEAST, you do precisely the SAME THING, only in response to PRECISELY THE WRONG POINT OF REFERENCE (THE EMPIRE), i.e., the KINGDOMS OF THIS WORLD, offered to Christ by Satan in exchange for his worship.

Why is this imagery used? MARKED IN THE FOREHEAD?

Once again, the biblical use of prophetic Antonyms, show a contrast of two opposite things were being referred too:

Exo 13:9  And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD'S law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORDbrought thee out of Egypt.

Rev 14:9  And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand

                                          DECEPTION/DELUSION EXPOSED

ANTOMYMNS in these prophetic descriptions, a practice that is found throughout the entire Bible in the prophetic tradition, make these prophetic contrasts unmistakable and inexcusable to miss.

Rev 17:8
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition - The beast is the Latin kingdom; (Ἡ Λατινη βασιλεια); consequently the beast was, that is, was in existence previously to the time of St. John; (for Latinus was the first king of the Latins, and Numitor the last); is not now, because the Latin nation has ceased long ago to be an independent power, and is now under the dominion of the Romans; but shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, that is, the Latin kingdom, the antichristian power, or that which ascendeth out of the abyss or bottomless pit, is yet in futurity. But it is added: -
And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names there not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is - By the earth is here meant the Latin world; therefore the meaning is, that all who dwell in the Latin world shall adhere to the idolatrous and blasphemous religion of the Latin Church, which is supported by the Latin empire, - ADAM CLARKE'S COMMENTARY

Rev 17:1-18
The characters of Babylon are first portrayed. Like the beast, she is only one thing in the judgment but morally she is more important than all the rest. The general character is the great active idolatress that has gained influence over the mass of the nations; next, that the kings of the earth have lived in guilty intimacy with her, seeking her favors, while those that dwell on the earth have lost their senses through her pernicious and inebriating influence. This is the general idea first given, a character plain enough to mark the Roman or Papal system.
But more details follow. There was a woman, a religious system, sitting on an imperial beast full of names of blasphemy, having the form which marked it Roman. - DARBY

Rev 17:8  The beast which thou sawest was, and is not,.... It is added at the end of the verse where the same description is given, "and yet is"; this beast is to be understood not of the devil, who "was" the god of this world, "is not", being cast out by Christ, and yet is in being; for he, the dragon, is distinguished from this beast, and indeed from him the beast has his seat, power, and authority, Rev_13:1 nor any particular emperor, as Domitian, a cruel and savage one, who was in power in Vespasian's time, when he was abroad, and then was out of it upon his return, and yet afterwards was in again, being as one sent from hell, and went at last into perdition; but the Roman empire itself is intended, as we have seen, which carried and supported the Papacy; and variously may this be interpreted; as that it was in the hands of the Romans originally, and long continued with them, but now "is not", in John's time, being in the hands of Trajan, a Spaniard, "and yet is" in being, Rome being the metropolis of it: it was a very powerful and flourishing empire, "and is not", being destroyed by the Goths and Vandals, "and yet is" a large empire under the jurisdiction of antichrist; - JOHN GILL

Rev 17:1-18
Contents: The doom of Babylon, the last great ecclesiastical order.
Characters: Christ, John, 7 angels, beast.
Conclusion: There will be in the Tribulation period a great apostate ecclesiastical system headed up under a powerful religious leader, drawing after it thousands of deluded worshippers, who in reality are worshipping the devil and the beast. This enormous world-system will be brought to a fearful end and all those connected with it will share its fate.
Key Word: Mystery, Babylon, Rev_17:5.
Strong Verse: Rev_17:14.
Striking Facts: Many Bible students believe that we have here the Roman Catholic system headed up in a fearfully apostate state. A woman is symbolical of “church” (2Co_11:12). This woman (Rev_17:5) stands in contrast to the Church of Christ, which is a “chaste virgin.” The true Church is “espoused to one husband;” this one is given up to the kings of the earth. The Church is the “mystery of godliness;” this one is “mystery Babylon.” The Church offers “the cup of Salvation;” this one offers “cup full of abominations.” Mystery Babylon is rich, and it has its seat on seven hills (Rome). Christ is seen here as the, One Who shall overcome all false systems, establishing Himself as Lord of Lords and King of Kings. - SUMMARIZED BIBLE

"Charagma of the Therion" (EXAMPLES)

Roy L. Branson, Jr., The End of the World, 1989
Instead of social security cards and credit cards, the number will be printed in the forehead or hand so that all who receive it will carry it at all times. Using modern technology, it will be a method to eliminate losing such cards or having them stolen or duplicated.
Just how will the number be imprinted? Will it consist only of the numbers 666? We do not know for certain, but it is possible a small computer chip will be embedded under the flesh, or even into the bone of the forehead of hand. That kind of technology is already in place. Another method may be used, but the results will be the same — instant identity, and little or no likelihood of counterfeiting or reproducing. I suspect the numbers 666 will be a prefix followed by other numbers, but I do not know. (Roy L. Branson, Jr., The End of the World, 1989, p.78)

ary D. Blevins, 666 The Final Warning!, 1990
I personally believe that the MARK will be either an invisible laser tattoo (they are in the skin) or a micro chip, which will be placed under the skin having the Uniform Product Code (UPC). This MARK, a type of bar code in the skin or on the micro chip, would be scanned at the point of trade. . .

MARK: The UPC code [barcode] with needed information on each person.
NAME OF THE BEAST: This, I believe, will be a name with six letters in each name invisibly coded into the laser tattoo or micro chip. A computer could pick this up as 'six digits' in each name. For example, Ronald Wilson Reagan!
NUMBER OF HIS NAME: The number 666 invisibly coded into the laser tattoo or micro chip and placed on each person in the form of the UPC [barcode] 'mark'. (Gary D. Blevins, 666 The Final Warning!, 1990, pp. 204, 205)

Tal Brooke, When the World Will Be As One, 1989
Yet the apostle John describes a reality that has only recently come into focus: global banking, laser scanning, and the universal bar code. . . It is a tiny step to go from using a Visa card or a bank card on the Plus System and other ATM machines, in which the electronic strip is attached to the card, to putting that same strip of information on the human body so that it can be laser scanned. This has already been done with laser tattoos and implanted microchips. . . Again, what better descriptive term could John have found in the ancient world than "the mark," which would enable every citizen to buy or sell who had it? (Tal Brooke, When the World Will Be As One, 1989, pp. 229, 230)

Terry Cook, The Mark of the New World Order, 1996
It is my well-researched opinion that the Mark of the Beast, as related in scripture, is absolutely literal. Soon, all people on earth will be coerced into accepting a Mark in their right hand or forehead. I am convinced that it will be an injectable passive RFID transponder with a computer chip — a literal injection with a literal electronic biochip 'mark'. . .I believe that such an implanted identification mark literally will become Satn's Mark of the Beast, as we will discuss further in this chapter." (Terry Cook, The Mark of the New World Order, 1996, p. 587)

The delusion appearant in the above examples are obvious to anyone with only minor and occasional reflections.  Besides their complete violation of the Biblical texts, here are the most obvious fallacies of these delusional claims intended by design to deflect suspicion away from the actual and real sources of THE MARK OF THE BEAST (according to the Bible).

(1) EFT already requires no chip or tattoos (all buying and selling is already controlled through central electronic and accounting systems)
(2) RFD Chipping and EFT cards are unknown and for the most part unfeasible in 3rd world countries, so the claim they will "chip" the whole world is patently absurd, and the teaching that there is no "mark of the beast" until then, is a downright dangerous demonic lie which could be costing people their eternities, while they sit around in the middle of the Roman delusion singing Kumbayah with the Antichrist, waiting for these non-feasible science fiction scenarios to unfold, in a false and deluded sense of security.
(3) They are not the Biblical description, and thus disobey God's word, and are an act of sin.
(4) The people promoting these deflections, are all supporters of the Antichrist, receive Pope Sixtus III's law on their forehead and in their hand, and worship his image.  They are not real born-again believers in the real Christ if you accept the Bible as your standard, they also make lots of money selling religion, in books that contain nothing but continuously revised garbage and disinformation.

It is an extremely difficult argument to make plausible, that you worship what the Bible condemns unconditionally (because of syncretism theology), side with the institutions and people responsible for slaughtering the entire family of Christ himself, and then expect that same Christ (whose very identity was stolen and used to promote the very opposite of all that he believed in and died for), to then "save you" (after such open and intentional betrayal).  That such claims would even be seriously entertained, points to a severe character flaw, if not, simply put, a delusion, which is what it actually is.

Rev 18:3,11 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and ...and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

Merchant+Church = "Merchant Church", (1) A "church" or "christian organization" applying "market principles" to the operation of religion as a business, for profit despite fronting as a "non-profit" organization, or (2) any segment/category of Christianity which has accepted the practice of Simony (i.e.,trafficking in spiritual things), as "normative Christianity".

T.D. Jakes ministry is a "Merchant Church" since he has publicly stated that he considers "Jesus" a "product" to be "sold" on national TV, and had no consciousness or apology that his position expressed in his conversation on this topic, was a violation of over an entire millenia of Christian belief prior to Pope Gregory X (who first normalized the practice), and that it is condemned to the point of unequivocal damnation in the Scriptures, despite the Pope's ruling to justify the sale of indulgences.

Pat Robertson runs primarily a "Merchant-Church".

Most "Mega-Church" ministries are "Merchant-Church's" out of necessity due to the financial overhead requirements that demand a constrant stream of large volumes of capital and liquidity, derived from "for profit sales" of religious merchandise.

si·mo·ny noun \ˈsī-mə-nē, ˈsi-\
Definition of SIMONY
: the buying or selling of a church office or ecclesiastical preferment
Origin of SIMONY
Middle English symonie, from Anglo-French simonie, from Late Latin simonia, from Simon Magus, Samaritan sorcerer in Acts 8: 9–24
First Known Use: 13th century

SIMONY,  buying or selling of something spiritual or closely connected with the spiritual. More widely, it is any contract of this kind forbidden by divine or ecclesiastical law. The name is taken from Simon Magus (Acts 8:18), who endeavoured to buy from the Apostles the power of conferring the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Simony, in the form of buying holy orders, or church offices, was virtually unknown in the first three centuries of the Christian church, but it became familiar when the church had positions of wealth and influence to bestow. The first legislation on the point was the second canon of the Council of Chalcedon (451). From that time prohibitions and penalties were reiterated against buying or selling promotions to the episcopate, priesthood, and diaconate. Later, the offense of simony was extended to include all traffic in benefices and all pecuniary transactions on masses (apart from the authorized offering), blessed oils, and other consecrated objects.
From an occasional scandal, simony became widespread in Europe in the 9th and 10th centuries. Pope Gregory VII (1073–85) rigorously attacked the problem, and the practice again became occasional rather than normal. After the 16th century, it gradually disappeared in its most flagrant forms with the disendowment and secularization of church property. (SIMONY, ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA ONLINE)

NOTE: Since the acquisition of Encyclopedia Britannica, it's articles have begun to reflect it's new ownership.  The idea that "Simony" has gradually "disappeared" is laughable.  All you have to do to see "Simony" gone AMOK, is turn on your TV on Sunday morning.  It's now the "standard practice" of the "Merchant Church".

QUOTE: But, not content with this, they by degrees introduce and bring in all things else sacred into their power ; impose and set forth new decrees, interpret the old, and alter what they please. And that these matters might not be looked into, sacrilegiously they take away the Holy Scriptures out of the hands of the people, making it almost capital in them so much as to have or read them, lest they should discover the avarice, pride, simonry, and fraud of their corrupt mysteries and traditionstending only to their profithonour, and secular advantages. And this proceeding to that height of exorbitance, and rendering it no longer tolerablemade a necessity of reformation – THE HISTORY OF RELIGION, R. M. EVANSON, B.A., RECTOR OF LANSOY, MONMOUTHSHIRE, 1850

Simony is the ecclesiastical crime of paying for holy offices ...Simon Magus offers the disciples of Jesus, Peter and John payment so that anyone he would place his hands on would receive the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the origin of the term simony[1] but it also extends to other forms of TRAFFICKING FOR MONEY IN "SPIRITUAL THINGS". - The Reader's Encyclopedia (1965), New York: Thomas Y. Crowell Company, vol.2, p.932, "Simon." Smith (1880)

Dante Alighieri condemns simonists to the eighth circle of hell in his Inferno, where he encounters Pope Nicholas III buried upside down, thesoles of his feet burning with oil, in a mock baptism. Dante goes on to predict the damnation of both Pope Boniface VIII, the Pope in office at the time the Divine Comedy is set, and Pope Clement V, his successor, for that sin. Writers in the early Renaissance, such as Niccolò Machiavelli and Erasmus, condemned the practice, while Blaise Pascal attacked the casuistic defenses offered by those accused of simony in his Lettres provinciales.-WIKIPEDIA

MERRY CHRISTMAS - (The Greeting), An institutionalized confession of faith that Rome's "Solar-mass" and it's associated festivities in worship of Apollyon (born on Dec.25th) is in fact, "Christ".  it is made up of three words. "Merry", which comes originally from the term "to merge", and "Christ"+"mass".  Thus "merging" the identities of Apollo and Christ into one, in the form of a Roman "Mass".

It is in it's pronunciation a statement or "confession" of "faith" in Rome's worship on December 25th in honor of the Sun, as "Christ".  Thus also a form of blasphemy achieved through compulsion.

13.  They observed Rome's pagan celebration of "Saturnalia" (Dec.25th)
14.  They accepted Rome's practice of Pedophilia (Sex with children)

NICOLAITANS - Nicolaites  - (Also called Nicolaitans), a sect mentioned in the Apocalypse (ii,6,15) as existing in Ephesus, Pergamus, and other cities of Asia Minor, about the character and existence of which there is little certainty (1)Irenaeus (Adv. haer., I, xxvi, 3; III, xi, 1) discusses them but adds nothing to the Apocalypse except that "they lead lives of unrestrained indulgence."(2)  Tertullian refers to them, but apparently knows only what is found in St. John (De Praescrip. xxxiii; Adv. Marc., I, xxix; De Pud., xvii).Hippolytus based his narrative on Irenaeus, though he states that thedeacon Nicholas was the author of the heresy and the sect (Philosph., VII, xxvi). Clement of Alexandria (Strom., III, iv) exonerates Nicholas, andattributes the doctrine of promiscuity, which the sect claimed to have derived from him, to a malicious distortion of words harmless in themselves. With the exception of the statement in Eusebius (H. E., III, xxix) that the sect was short-lived (3), none of the references in Epiphanius, Theodoret etc. deserve mention, as they are taken from Irenaeus. The common statement, that the Nicolaites held the antinomian heresy of Corinthhas not been proved. Another opinion, favoured by a number of authors, is that, because of the allegorical character of the Apocalypse, the reference to the Nicolaitans is merely a symbolic manner of reference, based on the identical meaning of the names, to the Bileamites or Balaamites (Revelation 2:14) who are mentioned just before them as professing the same doctrines (4). - CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA

  (1) THERE IS LITTLE CERTAINTY - Except the fact they are certain it has nothing to do with Saint Nicholas?

  (2) UNRESTRAINED INDULGENCE - Are we to then believe at Saturnalia, a group marked by their "indulgence" would suddenly be "moved" by fidelity to abstain from the pagan celebration? though they "freely indulge" in everything else on earth?

  (3) EUSEBIUS "THE SECT WAS SHORT-LIVED" - This comment is both incorrect and untrue.  In fact, Eusebius is addressing controversy over the issue as an historical apologetics polemical.

By 435 A.D. the Nicholaitan movement became the institutionalized version of Imperial "Christianity" for the entire Roman empire as a result of the Theodosian II Codex, and Pope Sixtus III.  The connections between "Christ-Mass" and the "Nicholaitans" (including their Patron Saint) are well established (and ignored) in "Church history".

Ananias of Shirak, circa 600 A.D., wrote:

The Festival of the holy Birth of Christ, on the 12th day before the feast of the Baptism, was not appointed by the holy apostles, nor by their successors either, as is clear from the canons of the holy apostles…which is 6th of January, according to the Romans.
But many years after their fixing the canons, this festival was invented, as some say, by the disciples of the heretic Cerinthus; and was accepted by the Greeks, because they were truly fond of festivals and most fervent in piety; and by them it was spread and diffused all over the world.
But in the days of the holy Constantine, in the holy Council of Nice, this festival was not received by the holy fathers (Ananias of Shirak, On Christmas, The Expositor, 5th series vol. 4 (1896) Translation. pp.323-337, as reported by ccel).

“John, the disciple of the Lord, preaches this faith, and seeks, by the proclamation of the Gospel, to remove that error which by Cerinthus had been disseminated among men, and a long time previously by those termed Nicolaitans, who are an offset of that “knowledge” falsely so called, that he might confound them, and persuade them that there is but one God, who made all things by His Word” (Irenaeus Against Heresies iii 11.  1; ANF vol. 1, p. 426)

Rev 2:14,15  But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before (1)the children* of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to(2)commit fornication. So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
