Christine Wang Piano Studio

Welcome to my studio.  The skill of playing the piano is a gift and wealth to have for a lifetime.

 

I am a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music by the Music Teachers National Association. I have excellent experience teaching piano in private and group lessons.  In addition to a Bachelor of Science in Piano Performance from David Lipscomb University, I also hold a BS in Psychology from the National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan.  I was an instructor and a supervisor, training new teachers, in the YAMAHA Music Foundation in Taipei, Taiwan, before coming to the States.

 

I offer piano lessons to students 4 years and older.  My students have fun playing solo and ensemble in various styles of music.  I teach solfege, singing do-re-mi, in addition to ABC, and help prepare students for optional recitals and festivals sponsored by the Music Teachers Association of Central Arkansas.  Students have access to supplemental computer-based training in Music Theory. 

 

I am a member of Arkansas State Music Teachers Association, Music Teachers National Association, National Association for Music Education, and American Choral Directors Association. I also serve as the chairman of the college scholarship offered by the Arkansas State Music Teachers Association/Central Arkansas.
