Somehow, some way, in the fall of 2000, God saw fit to put together a group of guys who had almost nothing in common, other than the fact that they had each individually experienced both the full affects of being in the deep darkness of the soul and then being rescued from the pit and brought into the light of Christ. Oh, and they also had a love for music, and felt compelled to give this back to the Lord in whatever way He saw fit . That is what our debut release is all about. It's not about the individuals, nor their stories, not even their music. It is about the Lord, Jesus Christ and His power to raise, literally, people "from the ash heap, to set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory" (1 Samuel 2:8). Hence the name of this band "Risen From The Ashes". It is our fervent prayer that God would use this band and the debut CD to bless, encourage and restore the lives of all who may listen.
