(This is similar to the opening scene of the television show Buck Rogers in the 25th Century) Moments later the X2 plunges into the atmosphere of a strange planet and crashlands into the ground. However, this is the planet Earth in the year 2029AD where civilizations around the globe are devastated by a tragic disaster where robot machines or artificial intelligence AI's have turned against humanity that created them in the first place to build a bright future of sorts. Simultanously, canine dogs (once household pets) mutated into canosapien forms also revolted against their masters and mistresses to join forces with the machines in taking over the Earth and forming a new govenment society called "Canine New World Order - Skynet Empire" in which dogs and machines rule, man is slave or servant to their cause. Upon discovery of this strange spaceship that crashlanded near Dog-Machine City, and realizing it contained humans inside wearing outlandish uniforms of unknown origin, Agent Smith (leader of the AIs or Terminators) and General Hunter (leader of the CnWo Rovers) capture the astronauts and take them hostage before the high council, presided over by Doctor Blitz. It is Blitz who determines these strangers pose a serious threat to canosapien-artificial intelligence society and must be destroyed at once for it is feared they may start a revolution uprising amoung the human population on this planet to fight back against their dog-machine masters and re-conquer the Earth. Emmett, Nigel, Marty and Biff are thrown into jail to await their fate but before the sentence of death is to be carried out...the time travelers are rescued from prison by friendly, non-hostile allies of sorts. One is a Terminator Series "X" infantry unit robot in the form of an Agent wearing the usual black suit & tie, matching black pants & shoes, dark glasses but not wearing the earphone device used to receive instructions from headquarters, so to speak. Its codename is Agent Bishop (the character from the 4Kids.TV "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Fast Forward" cartoon show) The other friend is a canosapien collie named Colleen who at one time was a girlfriend to Hunter until he dumped her in the end, discharged her from the CnWo militia and replaced with Exile as his 2nd in command instead. After making the prison break from Dog-Machine City, the friends race back to the wrecked X2 shuttle where Doc Brown attempts to retrieve a CD-DVD containing valuable information that can help get him and his friends back home to their own time period in 2007AD. After successfully recovering the disk and other supplies they'll need to survive on this strange and hostile world, the astronauts escape before several T-850 robots and Rovers arrive to blow up the ship with bombs. Then, realizing that the strangers have escaped...Hunter, Exile and Smith immediately order hot pursuit of the fugitives, track them down and kill them on site! Thus begins the journey into the unknown for Doc Brown and company on the PLANET OF THE ROAD ROVERS!!! EPISODE I "Mountain Of The Delphi" The story opens with the Hill Valley X2 astronauts fleeing from a scouting party of Terminator Series 850 infantry units, Machine Agents that is who are shooting their guns at the fugitives, trying to score direct hits on the time travelers and their allies who duck and dodge the bullets whizzing past their heads and bodies like angry bees through the air. Marty: Over here, Doc, quick! Emmett: Coming! Emmett Lathorp Brown, the genius who invented time travel hurries in the direction his friend, Marty McFly has shouted who is also running for his life. Keeping heads low, thus creating small targets impossible for their attackers to line up their sights and take aim in the process until diving into the ground, flat on their bellies with hands clasped over their heads to shield themselves. Seconds later, the figures of Biff and Nigel (father and son) also duck down next to their friends to take cover. For awhile they lay still and quiet, not daring to move, breathe or speak, thus giving away their hiding places for the enemy to locate and shoot them. Biff: Whew! That was a close shave, the man said to the barber. Nigel: You could say that, son. Biff: Thanks, dad. Holy cow, those robots almost got us that time. Emmett: Yes, but we gave them the slip, that is and they missed hitting us. Biff: Yeah, Doc. We gave them the slip, all right, heh-heh. Then the former juvenile bully from 1955 looks around frantically in search of their friends, wondering if they got shot or captured. Biff: Hey! Where's Bishop and Colleen? Marty: Huh? Where are the T-X and canosapien collie? As if to answer his question...Colleen and Bishop drop down beside them, gasping for breath and sweating crazily. Both survived being taken out by the Agents so to speak. Colleen: Here we are! We're okay. T-X Bishop: Affirmative...we didn't get terminated, if that's what you're thinking of right now... Biff: Yo, lady collie! Glad you're safe. Colleen: Yo, dude! In one piece, that is. I'm not more anxious to be captured by General Hunter's Rovers than you are. If there's anything he hates more than people, it's a canosapien who is friendly to people. Marty: Good grief, I cannot understand or believe why dogs hate us. What on earth caused humanity to mistreat canines so badly that would allow them to turn against us in the end? Colleen: That, my friend is a long story and one you would not believe. T-X Bishop: Yes, including artificial intelligence robots built to create and build a brighter future to help mankind survive...but, considering your case that you are not of this time century, so to speak...you would not understand the true story of what actually happened long ago... Nigel: Hold on, there. You are correct that we do not understand what transpired here, but how about explaining exactly what went wrong in the first place so if we ever return to Hill Valley we can warn humanity to prepare for Judgement Day. T-X Bishop: I'm afraid that may be illogical, professor Channing...but, if you wish to learn, then I will tell you the whole story... Nigel: Yes, I would like to learn everything. Emmett: Hold on a second! Listen. Everyone strains to hear the sounds of retreating footsteps moving away from their hiding place as if their attackers are giving up the chase and returning back to homebase, that is. Cautiously, they peek up to see for themselves and sure enough, they see the agents walking away, not looking back as they depart the scene until they disappear from sight. Marty: Why, they're leaving, going away. I don't get it. Biff: I don't either, they had us cornered like mice or rats. Emmett: Great Scott, with them in front and this mountain at our backs, we didn't stand a chance. What do you think, why did they retreat? Colleen: Blimey, I'm not sure but unless... Emmett: Unless what? Colleen: Unless we have entered one of the Forbidden Zones. Biff: What's a Forbidden Zone, huh? T-X Bishop: It is one of several metropolis cities around the continent of North America that were destroyed in the nuclear holocaust known as Judgement Day... Biff: What the heck?! D-d-destroyed?! Nigel: How were they destroyed? I t is then the AI begins telling the shocking incident that would start the holocaust nightmare of machines betraying their masters and rising up to take over the Earth. Bishop told about a company called Cyberdyne System and its parent company Cybernetic Research Institute had begun constructing the first ever synthetic soldier for the battlefields of tomorrow, robot machines that would replace human soldiers on the front line of combat against terrorism so to speak. T-X Bishop: Cyberdyne System built the first, fully functional artificial intelligence machine to be trained in combating terrorism, it was called the Series 800 endoskeleton infanty unit. Or as it was formally known as...the Terminator... Emmett: Huuuuuh, a robot programmed to fight terror? T-X Bishop: Affirmative, Doctor Brown...these T-800s would be the first of its kind to be sent into battle against terrorist forces all over the globe, replacing the human soldiers and thus avoiding casualties...to NATO and UN troops, that is... Emmett: Wow, just think, a infanty unit robot able to withstand battle casualties without being hurt itself and still destroy terrorism. Marty: Amazing! Were there other models besides the T-800? Colleen: Yes, Marty. Soon, other infantry units rolled off the assembly lines to be ready for action, such as the Series 850, the Series 1000, Biff: What's a T-1000? Colleen: Hey, it's rude to interrupt when I'm talking here. Biff: Sorry, lady. Colleen: Anyway, the Series 1000 was known as a shapeshifting robot that could take on the form of whatever it came in contact with. Nigel: How is that possible? T-X Bishop: Simple, it would first strike and take out its enemy, then acquire its form and mold its own self into that of its victim so you would not recognize it, believing it was the same person, when in reality, it was a Terminator in disquise... Nigel: Good gosh! And it could never be destroyed? Colleen: Nope, no matter how many times you shot it, causing wounds to its body, creating bullet holes in it, it would reform itself again and again and become good as new. Biff: Good grief! Then the Terminator continues with his story... T-X Bishop: Continuing with my story...Cyberdyne also created and designed the first ever Global Network System, called Skynet...which was to be used as a defense grid pattern in protecting America and her allies from terrorist attacks against her shores...and also controlling the Terminator Units and the air-to-ground attack crafts, the Hunter-Killers... As Bishop explained how Skynet was supposed to protect the United States of America from terror attacks once it came online, something went terribly wrong after the super computer was activated. T-X Bishop: Skynet immediately decided that it did not like taking orders from its creators but it wanted to give orders instead, that is why it rebelled, turned against humanity in the first place. Marty: You mean Skynet betrayed America?! Colleen: Yes, and began attacking the cities with missile strikes to eliminate innocent people instead of attacking terrorists. Emmett: Great Scott! Colleen: Many helpless victims were caught in the open of Ground Zero when the missiles impacted, died instantly. Others trying to escape the blast areas were incinerated or burned alive by the radiation firestorm that swept outward from the center of the explosions. Biff: Oooooooh, I think I'm going to be sick. T-X Bishop: Sorry you feel that way, sir...after the strikes, Skynet instructed the T-800s, T-850s, T-1000s and in my case, the T-X models to hunt down and terminate any survivors who escaped Ground Zero... Colleen: But, there were survivors who managed to get below ground, hide inside bomb shelters under the cities during the attacks. Nigel: Where are they now, these survivors you speak of? The collie hesitated a moment before answering... Colleen: They are forced to live and work as slaves or servants in makeshift colony town settlements run by canosapien and AI masters. Shocked, disbelieving looks crossed the faces of Emmett, Nigel, Biff and Marty who could not believe what they just heard. Humans slaving for machines and talking dogs?! T-X Bishop: Skynet feared that mankind would try to take revenge against it, retaliate for this cowardly attack against its creators who built it in the first place... Biff: Great! Humanity in bondage again, like the old days. And I thought we ended slavery centuries ago, in our time. Nigel: Yes, it is unconstitutional for one to do another's job against their will, unless of course you are hired to do work for pay instead. Colleen: Oh? And you do this in your time? Nigel: Correct, my dear. Slavery is outlawed, banned in our century and is replaced with self employment. Colleen: Blimey, I didn't know that. Emmett: But will mankind rise up and fight back against this new form of terror? T-X Bishop: I do not understand what you said, doctor...what new form of terror? Emmett: I mean, AI's and canosapien dogs. T-X Bishop: The canosapiens, on the other hand fear that humanity may or will destroy their world if given a chance of taking it back in the end...that is why the high council instructed the building of these colony settlements to imprison humans and force them into slave labor under the control of Rovers... Marty: Great, reminds me of the slave days of the 1800s in America before the start of the Civil War between the states. Wanting to change the subject quickly, Colleen changes tactics so to speak by talking more about the Forbidden Zones. Colleen: The Forbidden Zones, as we call them...out of a mixture of fear or superstition our administrative scientists have designated certain areas of the country off limit to all Rovers. Nigel: That sounds kind of strange because your Doctor Blitz doesn't strike me as being the kind to fall for that superstitious talk. Colleen: Quite right, his major concern is to keep Rovers from learning that there may have been human civilizations in ancient times, equal or perhaps superior to our own. Thus upsetting the theory that we evolved from a lower species of homosapiens...humans. Nigel: How come you don't go along with him? Colleen: I've seen evidence in archaeological research that such civilizations did indeed exist. Because I've tried to make that fact known, I've been denounced as a foolish idiot in believing such nonsense and banished from my own people, so to speak and now a fugitive along with you. Biff: And a lucky thing for us, too. We would not be alive today if it wasn't for you and your machine bodyguard. T-X Bishop: Of course, my friend...I am programmed to serve and protect you, your father and friends at all cost against any harm that may befall you... Emmett: Hey, this sure is a forbidden looking place. That mountain rising up out of nowhere, casting its shadow over the valley below. Where are we, Bishop? T-X Bishop: I can only guess, but I'd say... Suddenly a loud rumbling noise caught their attention and all heads turn in the direction the sound came from. Marty: What's that sound? It sounds like... Emmett: Look out! Those boulders, coming down at us. Avalanche! Nigel: Let's get out of here! Biff: Aaaaaaaaugh! The friends dove for cover to avoid the massive rocks rolling towards them which crashed harmlessly by, finally coming to a stop in a pile of rubble nearby. Emmett: Jumping giggawatts! That avalanche could've killed us! Marty: Yeah, as if we haven't had enough problems already, Doc. Like, dodging General Hunter and his CnWo troopers to be exact. Biff: Uh, that was no avalanche, Marty. Marty: What?! Biff: Look up there. McFly looked in the direction Tannen was pointing and spotted what appeared to be tiny figures standing atop a cliff, high above their heads like little dots against the cloudless sky. Marty: Doc, look! Emmett: Huuuuuuh, cavemen! Nigel: Right out of the Stone Age! Colleen: Yes, yes! Just what I thought. Biff: Huh? Colleen: I never thought I would get to see living specimens. Biff: What are you talking about? Colleen: Those people, they could be the missing link between civilized dogs and primitive...oops! She stopped herself upon noticing the frowning look on Tannen's face when she realized she may have said something wrong to offend the ex-bully. Colleen: Sorry, didn't mean to offend you. Biff: Right! I almost ended up beating you down, butthead. Colleen: Hey! I said I'm sorry, okay? No need to get violent. Biff: Okay, okay, it's cool. Nigel: Take it easy, you two. So what else can you tell me about those people? T-X Bishop: They are called the Delphi, and this is the mysterious Mountain of the Delphi. Everybody: MOUNTAIN OF THE DELPHI?!! Chapter: 2 As Emmett and company listen, both Colleen and T-X explain more about the mysterious mountain and its inhabitants. T-X: This mountain is of fear and reverence to them. It is said they are drawn to it as though by a magnet, but of some fear out of their distant past. Nigel: Sure is strange looking, probably of volcanic origin or as the result of some cataclysmic restructuring of the Earth's surface. Colleen: True, doctor. Dwelling the caves in and around the base, they never stray far from them. Legend speaks of a golden idol at the top which they worship as a god but dare not approach. Emmett: Hey, look. There's one of those caves, up there where the boulders came down. Marty: And there's another, right behind that...uh-oh! Suddenly, McFly, Tannen, Dr Brown, Dr Channing, Colleen and T-X find themselves surrounded by a group of primative humans, staring at them silently and impassive. Nigel: Greetings, we are space explorers from another planet in another time period. I am Doctor Nigel Channing, and this is my brother, Emmett Lathorp Brown. Emmett: The man who invented time travel. And these are our assistants, Marty McFly and Biff Tannen. Both Marty and Biff smile weakly and wave innocently, not saying anything at the moment since they are too embarrassed to speak in front of strangers. Nigel: And this is Colleen and...T-X? Biff: They don't seem to understand, let me try. Hello, we come in peace, blood brothers. Marty: Good try, Tannen. Biff: Yeah? Let's see you try better, butthead. Colleen: Uh, perhaps my presence disturbs them. In their eyes, I'm a member of the canine-machine empire. I can assure you, I am no longer a member of the CnWo regime, that I consider humans equal to canosapiens. T-X: And we wish to be friends to all humanity. Marty: Will you look at their expressions, completely emotionless. They don't seem to understand anything we said. Tamarain: On the contrary, young man, I understood everything you said. Biff: At least you can speak, sir. Tamarain: I am Tamarain, guardian of the Delphi. Why have you come? Nigel: We seek sanctuary from the CnWo-Skynet empire, nothing more. T amarain: This mountain has been our home for countless generations. Yet we endanger our safety and freedom if we give aid to escaped slaves. Emmett: Great Scott, who are you calling slaves? We are time travelers. Tamarain: Time travelers, what does that mean? Emmett: We traveled through space and time onboard our time machine spaceship from another planet called Earth. Tamarain: Did you say Earth? Emmett: Yes, planet Earth in the year 2006AD, from a city called Hill Valley. For a brief moment, the guardian looks surprised, even confused at what Doc Brown said to him but then a smile appears on his face and he turns to speak to his followers who accompanied him. Tamarain: At last! The prophecy of the Delphi has been fulfilled. Nigel: What prophecy? Tamarain: It is written the survival of civilization is in the hands of men from Earth. That one day they will be sent from the stars above to lead us to the land of paradise, where all living things dwell together in peace and harmony. T-X: Amazing how that concept appears in the form of so many varied civilizations. Biff: Even amoung dogs and robots? T-X: Affirmative, Tannen. Though, in the book of life, it is a canosapien or artificial intelligence machine who will lead the way. Tamarain: Come, we must hurry. If the Rovers or Terminators know of your origin, you are in greater danger than I thought. Nigel: Hold it! You're taking us up to the spot where that rockslide came down. Biff: Yeah! How the heck do we know it won't happen again? Tamarain: Graylok has been warned. Biff: What the heck?! Who's he talking about now. Marty: Dunno, Who is Graylok? Tamarain: He is my son, in charge of defensive positions. Young and impectous, suspicious of strangers. But you are safe, just follow me. With that, the guardian walks towards a hidden trail pathway leading up the side of the mountain, his followers form a protective shield around the time travelers who follow Tamarain up the trail. Emmett: Where are you taking us? Tamarain: Up to the great hall in the mountain, where my people gather in time of danger. Marty: And you predict the Rovers will overcome their fear of the Forbidden Zone and return? Tamarain: Yes, they will return. Your encounter was with a small scouting party. Next time they will come with a large force, perhaps led by General Hunter himself. Our only safety is in the mountains. Chapter: 3 Meanwhile, back in Machine-Dog City...general Hunter was meeting with his 2nd in command, sergant Exile, Agent Smith, the leader of the Terminator robots and Doctor Blitz to discuss about capturing the time travelers and his ex-girlfriend. Hunter: You heard the reports from my scouts, doctor. Emmett, Nigel, Marty, Biff, T-X and my former girlfriend have taken refuge in or near the mountain of the Delphi. It must be captured at all cost, and the Delphi destroyed as a warning to all humanity. Blitz: For once, general I am in complete agreement with you. As long as they were isolated we could tolerate their existence. Now that isolation barrier has been broken, the threat will spread throughout the land to destroy us all. Smith: My agents are not afraid of anything, doctor Blitz. We will stop at nothing to put down the rebellion before it even starts, not allow man to take back his world or force us AI's into working for him again like before. Yet, we fear the mountain god the Delphi worship, the one who protects them from danger. Exile: Nyeh, I agree with him, sir. I cannot guarantee our troops... Hunter glares at his sergant and T-850 lieutenant suspiciously, wondering why they are so afraid of going into battle with him or invading some human settlement. He quickly speaks out. Hunter: Idiots! What are you afraid of?! Canosapiens and machines are not supposed to be afraid of anything, that's our motto. I will lead the attack in person, we move out now! The next sounds you hear are the CnWo soldiers galloping away from Machine-Dog City on their horses, closely followed by the Terminators marching along behind on foot, followed closely overhead by several Hunter Killer air-to-ground attack copters. In the meantime, Tamarain and the fugitives approach the cave entrance leading to the Great Hall. Emmett: Huuuuuuh, great Scott. Two hundred feet of sheer cliff behind us, straight down! Marty: I would advise not looking down, Doc. That would make us fear heights. Emmett: Good idea, Marty. Marty: You're welcome, sir. Always trying to help. Biff: And one one footpath leading upwards and going down again. With enough food, water and other supplies this place could be defended like medieval knights defending their castle. Tamarain: Come, we have no time to lose. My people await your presence, time travelers. Entering the caves single file, they walk down a long twisting tunnel. Rounding one last corner they stop suddenly to gaze in amazement at the sights before their eyes. Nigel: Looks like a cathedral, no wonder they call it the Great Hall. Colleen: Blimey, look there. Relics of an ancient civilization, the mother of all archaeological discoveries of the century, I struck it rich! Nigel: In that case, my dear. I'm happy for you. Colleen: Thanks, professor Channing. Biff: Look here, McFly. Steel rails and cobblestones. Marty: And that thing sticking up like a stalagmite, it's a steeple. The top of a church. Biff: Yo, dude. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Marty: Way ahead of you, Tannen. This mountain stands where once a great city stood. Emmett: Are you sure about that, Marty? Marty: Positive, Doc. Where we're standing now, centuries ago in our time of the future was a beautiful metropolis city before the so-called Judgement Day holocaust destroyed it. T-X: You could be correct, McFly. My sensors indicate that this indeed is once where a proud city stood in all its glory, but now is no more. Colleen: And the Delphi, this handful of humans must be the ancestors of the people of that city. Emmett: Clinging to the mountain like a security blanket. I don't believe it. Nigel: Look! Tamarain is getting on that pulpit, he's going to speak. They watched as the guardian climbed onto a pulpit-like stage to face his assembled followers and he begins talking, his voice echoing throughout the cavernous like room. Tamarain: Hear me, my people. This day has brought to us several strangers as foretold in the Book of Wonders. Followers: A-A-A-A-men! Tamarain: This is a day of glory, a day of freedom and independence from slavery under the evil control of dog and machine masters. Followers: A-A-A-A-men! Nigel: What-the? Did you hear that? Biff: Sure did, professor. I heard those people answer him, they're not mute. Marty: Yeah, like a congregation in a church. Tamarain: As it is written in the ancient scrolls of the Delphi. When in the course... Followers: When in the course... Tamarain: Of human events... Followers: Of human events... Tamarain: It becomes necessary... Followers: It becomes necessary... Emmett: Great Scott, I can't believe what I'm hearing! Are they referring to us as their saviors who will bring down the so-called CnWo-Skynet empire? He glances at the others but they stare back with stunned looks on their faces. Suddenly, running footsteps announce the presence of a hooded monk who dashes into the chamber and approaches his leader, face white with terror, eyes wide as he explains. Monk: My lord! The machines are coming! I just saw them approaching from the north. It's a whole squadron of Terminator Agents! Nigel: Oh, no. Not those agents again? Biff: Yegads! They're still after us as always, man. T-X: It would appear to be so, sir. We must be prepared for trouble at all cost. Biff: Now you tell me, Terminator. T-X: Just to make sure you're ready, Tannen. Tamarain: Prepare all defenses! Gralock, where's Gralock? At that moment, a stone door swings open and Graylok enters the Great Hall, pausing to stare at the time travelers and allies before turning to address his father. Graylok: Dad, there is only one defense. Turn the strangers over to general Hunter. Emmett: Jumping jiggawatts! He wants to hand us over to those stupid dogs?! Tamarain: What are you saying? Betray our honored guests, never! Graylok: Agent Smith will handle the capture of the fugitives personally, plus he's willing to pay a big reward in the end, he told me so. And he has given his word of honor that we will not be harmed. Tamarain: You spoke to him? Graylok: Yes, while you were playing soldier, I acted on my own will. They wait at the base of the mountain for your decision, father. T amarain: You fool! How dare you do this to your own father, betray him and your own family to the enemy! You know very well, general Hunter does not keep his word. Suddenly gunshots ring out from somewhere below, pinging and rebounding off the stone walls like hailstones as it appears the empire are attempting to break into the mountain fortress, engaged in brief skirmish with defenders in the process. Tamarain again berates his son for defying him. Tamarain: There's your answer, junior. Agent Smith followed you to the secret entrance! Graylok: Then, that's your final word, dad? You refuse to his request? Tamarain: Yes, I refuse! I'm sorry to tell you that, son. But I will not allow our guests to be turned over and be exterminated by the machines. Graylok: So be it! I'm taking over command, as of now. You're through. T urning to the open door behind him, Graylok shouts to the Terminators waiting below. Graylok: Up here! The time travelers are up here, come get them! In a fury, Tamarain draws an ancient pistol and takes aim at his own son. Tamarain: I'm sorry to have to do this, junior. But you will be punished for trying to dishonor your own father in the end, farewell. Graylok: No, father! Please, don't...don't shoot me, NOOOOOOO! But too late, as he pulls the trigger. A single shot rings out to strike his only child in the head as a shocked-pained expression appears on Graylok's face before he topples lifeless to the floor, facedown and stone-dead. Emmett and friends gasp in horror as they witness a father kill his own son for betraying him, but he had to do it in order to protect his guests from being harmed. Then, turning to the fugitives, he shouts to them. Tamarain: Quickly, come with me. This way! Leading them to a secret door behind the pulpit, he points to a stairway carved out of stone. Tamarain: Follow those stairs to the top of the mountain. Go down the other side and you will find safety in the forest beyond. Emmett: I can't believe you shot that poor boy. Tamrain: He had to be punished, it was the only way to stop him from handing you over to the enemy. Emmett: But, shoot him? Tamarain: No time to argue right now, you must leave before the empire arrives. Biff: Aren't you coming with us? Tamarain: It is forbidden for any Delphi to approach the top of the mountain, home of Ytrebil. Colleen: Who? Biff: Who's Ytrebil? Tamarain: God of the mountain, protector of the Delphi. My trust is in him. It is written in the time of our greatest danger, Ytrebil will speak, cast down his anger and our enemy will be destroyed. Go, now! And god be with you on your quest home, my friends. Nigel: Thank you, my friend. And god be with you, also. Marty: Farewell, leader of the Delphi. T-X: We will not forget all you've done for us. And so, our time traveling friends with Colleen and Terminator X began their ascent up the stone staircase out of the mountain fortress itself to heaven knows where they were going! Finale Emerging into the light at the top of the mountain, the friends peer cautiously over the edge to look down on the scene below them. They could see several T-800s and T-850s, the agents in disquise ready to assault the mountain fortress with Hunter and Exile in command, as usual. Hovering above were Hunter Killers acting as support for the ground units once the invasion commenced. Hunter, his face flushed with a sense of victory, shouts to his officers. Hunter: Destroy the Delphi to the last man, woman and child. No survivors! But leave the fugitives alive so I can kill them myself. Biff: How dare he, that butthead! Threaten to kill innocent people like that! Nigel: Unfortunately we cannot go back to help them because we'd be killed ourselves in the process. Biff: Why that...bully! If I had the opportunity, I'd kick his ass! T-X: I'm sure you would like that chance to avenge yourself upon him, Tannen. That is, of course if he doesn't shoot you first. Biff: Ha! I dare him to try. At that moment, Colleen gets the attention of McFly and Brown who turn her way as she calls out to them. Colleen: Marty, Emmett! Marty: What is it, Lassie? Colleen: Look, there. Emmett: Where? Colleen: There, that metal gleaming in the sun. It must be... Without warning, one of the hovering HKs spots the time travelers peering down from the clifftop and moves in their direction, gun turret aimed at them, missile pods armed and ready to fire. T-X: Look out, attacking Hunter Killer approaching, get down! Biff: Aaaaaaaugh! Nigel: Good grief! The Terminator cop shoves Tannen and Channing onto the ground and covers their prone bodies as the Hunter Killer swoops in, firing its gun turret in the process. Immediately the "X" model infantry unit returns fire by morphing one of its arms into a Gatling gun of sorts and unleashes a blast of electrical lightning bolts back at the HK, striking the robo copter before it can fly out of range of the blasts aimed at it and explodes into flying fragments in all directions. However, the noise of the explosion gets the attention of Hunter, Exile, Smith and the agents down below who all look up and immediately spot the intruders high above. Exile: There they are, up there on the clifftop! Hunter: Get them, destroy those time travelers! Smith: All agents, commence attack now! The T-800s and T-850s begin storming the mountain fortress, charging their way towards the top where the friends cower in terror at the moment. Emmett: Great Scott! They've spotted us, let's get out of here! Marty: Right, down the other side? But as they are about to make their escape, however...Dr Channing sees something and calls out. Nigel: Wait a minute, look at this! They all stare at what appears to be some sort of giant bell, encased in a large holder of sorts, carved out of granite marble. There's a crack running down one side of the bell itself as the friends stare at it in wonder. Marty: It looks like a huge, ancient bell. Colleen: I would estimate its weight to be about 2000lbs with a diameter of 12 feet. Emmett: There seems to be some kind of writing or inscription on its rim, can't make it out, but it looks like... Without warning a great shaking like trembling sensation rocked the ground under their feet! Biff: What the hell?!! What's that, man? Colleen: The mountain is shaking! All that gunfire! Biff: Yeah, feels like an earthquake of sorts. If we don't move fast, we're doomed. Emmett: Marty, Biff, Nigel, I got it! Nigel: Got what, brother? Marty: Doc?! Emmett: Listen! Proclaim liberty. Guys, don't you get it? The god of the mountain, Ytrebil, it's... Suddenly a loud "BONG" is heard as the bell suddenly swings violently in its holder, the vibration like noise is deafening to the ears, making the friends wince in pain and clasp hands over their ears to blot out the sounds, doubling over in agony. Then, the sound fades away to nothingness. At the next moment the bell ceased its loud report, a violent shaking rocks the clifftop as it begins to collapse under their feet! T-X: Avalanche! Everybody run down the other side, this way, follow me! One by one, the friends rush down the other side to escape the rockslide before it buries them alive in the process until they finally reach the safety of the forest. Pausing to stop and catch their breaths, they all turn to look back and witness the shocking sight before their eyes as the proud home of the Delphi, with one final convulsive roar dissolves into a massive heap of rubble, buried beneath a towering cloud of dust. Emmett: Jumping jiggawatts! The entire mountain collapsed! Biff: Are you sure we didn't just dream or imagine there was a mountain there a few minutes ago? Marty: If it was a dream, it is one dream that will never die. Colleen: You speak in riddles. All I know is that the ruins of an ancient city, the richest archaeological treasures I've ever seen is lost for all time. The collie begins crying as tears flow down her face. Dr Channing comforts her the best he can. Nigel: I'm sorry, Lassie. But the important treasure of all is our lives, we survived a disaster that nearly took our lives, for that we should be thankful. Colleen: Yes, you're right, professor. Sorry if I embarrassed you by crying like that. Nigel: It's all right, my dear. T-X: Yes, I agree with professor Channing. We survived a near disaster in the making. Yet, Doctor Brown cannot stop thinking about what he discovered about the bell's origin, of the writing he translated before the collapse started that destroyed the entire mountain itself. Emmett: All I know is that a great man and his people died today. Never knowing the voice of their god of the mountain, silenced over 2000 years. Was in fact the voice of the Liberty Bell, of ancient Philadelphia! The others stare at him in shock and surprise at these words he spoke. But unfortunately there's no time to stand around and ponder this mystery because they have to keep moving in order to stay ahead of the CnWo-Skynet empire who surely will try and capture them soon! EPILOUGE This marks the end of the first adventure of "PLANET OF THE ROAD ROVERS" for Doctor Brown and friends on Earth in 2029AD. But there are more adventures that await the inventor of time travel, his brother scientist and their assistants as they continue trekking across this landscape of dangers and mysteries while on the run from General Hunter and his forces who are trying to capture them as always. Will the time travelers be able to return safely home to Hill Valley in 2006AD and escape this nightmare of dogs & machines ruling Earth???
