Odd one out ( part:2) By Chris Markham Chris (c)Chris Markham Dylan (c) Dylan Rinald skyler, kayzer (c) white fang hunter, colleen, blitz, exile (c) WB studios Author's note: I'm going to try some new things in this story and yes I have chose a new format but dont worry its still in script form. ****** Dorm room 9:00 AM In one of the many dorm rooms at RRMC you see Chris laying down on top of the cover's on the bed wearing all his clothes, then he starts to stir and wake's up startled, he takes a look around the room and then he looks down at his feet with a sad look on his face. Chris: I thought i would wake up and it would be all a dream * looks at ceiling* what will i do now. He then stands up and walks to the door, but stops right in front of it thinking to himself about wether it is a good idea to leave the room and what will the others think of him, but he just leaves the room shaking his head thinking how silly he is being. He heads down one the corridors which are empty that he found strange, then he reached the mission control room he saw the master was standing on his balcony reading some papers. Chris: hello there master, busy today. He stops reading his papers and looks at Chris and smile's. Master: oh, hello Chris did you sleep well. Chris: Its strange not sleeping in my own bed but idid manage to get some sleep. Master: Yes that is understandable, im sorry for all of this and so are the rovers. Chris starts to look around the room then he looks at the master again. Chris: were are Hunter and the others, the whole place is dead. Master: They are out on missions, but there should be other rovers around why dont you talk to them, you might make some new friends. Chris: other rovers, where are they? Master: why not try the rest area, computer room and the sports area. Chris: *amazed* how big is this place? Master: pretty big, have fun the others should be back soon and dont be shy to have somthing to eat at the cafe. the master turns around and starts reading his papers again while chris go's to find some of the other rovers. ******* Sports area 9:45 AM Chris enters the sports area and takes alook around, there are basketball courts and tennis courts all over. He couldn't believe how big it was as he stood there with a amazed look on his face. Chris: this is so cool! how many courts are there * starts counting* 1...2...3, err i better stop counting or i'll be here all day * huge bang sound* what was that? ?????: Oh, SHIT! Chris: Or should i say who was that. he then runs into the next room which is full of ramps and rail's. Chris: They have there own skate park, this is awesome. Chris forgets about the voice he just heard and starts to look around, he looks at the ramps and thinks wether to have a go until he heard a groan and some movement. ?????: *voice* Ouch! my head is killing me. Then from around the back of the ramps walks in a malamute wearing combat boots,green t-shirt, black combat trouser's and a red bandanna and he was holding a skateboard. ?????: *rubbing his head* Huge bail, i will get that trick right if it kills me...huh? * looks at Chris* who are you and what are you doing here. Chris: easy, my names Chris and i was rescued by hunter and the others and i'm just looking around. ?????: Oh ok, that explains things. He then starts to check the ramp while Chris just watch's him, until he plucks up the courage to talk and approuch's him. Chris: whats your name? Skyler: * not really paying attention* Its Skyler, now if i go down at this angle i should be able to do the trick. He then climbs the ramp and is ready to go for his second attempt, but then he notice's Chris is watching and tries to ignore him but carn't and he starts to get annoyed. Skyler: What do you want. Chris: Nothing. Skyler: Then go! Chris: But i wanna see your trick. skyler: its not ready yet! he then looks forward and ready's himself, he's about to go when...! Chris: * shouting up* what type of trick is it? Skyler: *nearly falling* aahhh...*looks at chris* just go, im concentrating! Chris: But... Skyler: *stern* Now! Chris: * sad* ok, i'll go then Chris is seen leaving the sports area very sad and depressed. skyler: *thinking* Finally, some peace and quiet. outside Chris is seen leaning against one of the walls in the corridor and he starts to think what to do next. Chris: That could have gone better * big grin on his face* oh well, there is the computer room that the master said to try, i'll go there. Chris then leaves and turns the corner at the end of the corridor and at that moment you hear a huge crash sound and the walls shake a little. Skyler: * voice* GOD DAMMIT! i did it again. ******* Computer room 10:15 AM Chris enters the room and has a look around, there load of monitors around and computer console's and at the biggest computer there was malamute sitting there typing away. ?????: Hmm, this file can go here and this one can.... * his ears perk up* so how are you. Chris: * shocked* how did you know i was standing here? Kayzer: * turning around* I could hear you, my names kayzer and how are you doing today Chris. Chris: well I'm...? *suprised* how did you know my name. Kayzer: Hunter told me. Chris: so you know everything about me and my situation. Kayzer: well enough to know you will be staying here * looks at the computer screen* where was i. Chris: what are you doing? Kayzer: some computer file's, i've been here for hour's and its nearly done. Chris: *looking for a seat and not paying attention* thats good...* to himself* where's a seat? He ends up sitting on the desk next to Kayzer's keyboard and continue's to watch him type away. Kayzer: there done now i will sav....*click sound* what was that? kayzer look's at his keyboard and notice's chris's hand has leened on the delete key Chris: *jumping off the table* huh... whats going on. Compter voice: deleteing file. Kayzer: no, stop the deletion. Computer voice: file deleted, awaiting next command. Kayzer: *eyes go wide* nooooo! Chris: *stepping back towards the exit* i think i should go. Kayzer doesn't say a word he just look's at chris and nod's sternly looking really peeved, Chris then go's outside the room and quickly but calmly heads towards the cafeteria ******* cafeteria 10:35 AM In the cafeteria Chris cannot beleive he has ruined two opputunitie's to make friends, he then notice's Blitz sitting there drinking a milkshake while sitting at the table. he then remembers the first time they met and he tries to block it out, thinking they can start from scratch. Chris: * sitting down* hey there, what are you drinking. Blitz: *looking at chris* go away! Chris: * trying to keep calm* i just wanted to know what you are drinking! Blitz:: its a peppermint milkshake. Chris: *looking a bit disgusted* a peppermint milkshake! Blitz: yeah, do you want one. Chris: No thanks *thinking to himself* this guy is a little weird but i'll give him a chance * to Blitz* so have you got any hobbies. Blitz: *huge grin* yes, i like the biting of mushy part's. Chris: * not impressed* yes, how can i forget that. Blitz: *pulling out a little notepad* you see i have bitten 150 this week and if i make 200 i get a new flea coller, thats my goal. Chris: * getting up and leaving* how nice for you. Blitz: dont you want to hear my record. Chris: i'll get back to you on that! * leaves the cafeteria* damn that guy is obsessed with peoples ass's, im off. Chris leave's down the corridor and the camera pans back to blitz in the cafeteria. Blitz: * to himself* his loss! Blitz then starts to drink the rest of his peppermint milkshake while at the same time reading through his notepad. ******* Rest room 10:50 AM Chris then reaches the rest room and he is very depressed and sad that he hasn't made a good friend yet, he enters the rest room and has a look around, there is a huge t.v , a couple of sofa's and armchair's, and in the back is a table with someone sitting at it, he was wearing a red and blue jersey, blue jeans, red and blue head band and a pair of trainer's, he was dinking some coffee and eating a slice of toast. Chris: * to himself* Ok Chris, dont blow it! he takes two steps and and thinks oh forget it i'll go back to my room and turns around to leave. ??????: * voice* you can join me if you want, i dont mind. Chris: Huh..? He looks around and the cano-sapion has turned around and is staring at him smiling Chris: you sure ??????: Its ok, its nice to have some company . Chris: *Happy* thanks, err...? Dylan: My name's dylan, whats yours ? Chris: *sitting down* My name's Chris. Dylan: Ah ha, Are you the one that caused all that ruckus last night. Chris: * a bit embarassed* Errm.....I....gotta go. Chris stands up so quick he knock's over the table chair, and is about to leave when dylan realise's what he's about to do and stands in front of him. Dylan: wait! I didn't mean to upset you, i was only joking. Chris: Its not that, i thought i annoyed you with last nights antic's. Dylan: *shaking his head* No, you didn't annoy me last night, why was you so bothered anyway? Chris: well, you see Dylan...... Chris explained how the Master told him to go around to make some new friends around RRMC and how he annoyed Skyler, kayzer and how he tried to put up with blitz because he was desperate to make a new freind and he didn't want Dylan to hate him as well. He then go's on to tell how he got here, how parvo kidnapped him, how he feel's out of place and as Chris spoke Dylan listened very contently, having sip of his coffee now and then. Chris: Thats about it Dylan. Dylan: *sad* Im sorry about your family, i wish i could do somthing for you. Chris: Its ok there's nothing you can do, i wonder if i'll fit in here Dylan. Dylan: of course you will, i did. Chris: Of course you did, you are a cano-sapion like the other's. Dylan: Well your kinda right, you see i didn't fit in because im a mixed breed and even now Blitz still give's me grief about that. Chris: He doe's, that jerk tried to bite my butt on our first meeting. Dylan: *chuckles* I know you shouted " keep away from my ass" while running past my door last night. Chris: *Chuckles* oops, sorry about that. Dylan: Anyway, what i want to say is i will be here for you if you need to talk and in time you will get used to this place so dont worry because you have already got a freind right here. Chris: Thanks that means a lot. Chris then smile's at Dylan which is soon replaced with a sad look and he then he gets up. Dylan: Whats the matter? Chris: I'm just going to my room for a little while. Dylan: Ok, and if you want to talk dont forget i'll be here for you. Chris: thank you dylan. Chris leave's and Dylan sits there really sadly thinking of what to do to make Chris happy when hunter walks in sits down on one of the arm chairs and starts to flick through the channels, when he notice's Dylan sitting there really sad. Hunter: whats with the sad look bro. Dylan then looks at hunter, sigh's and gets up and joins him in the sitting area. Dylan: Well, i just met Chris Hunter: *looking at the t.v* yeah, at least he's trying to fit in *look's at Dylan* but why are you sad, thats good news? Dylan: Its because i want to do something to cheer him up, you see he miss's his family and he said he feel's a bit out of place. Hunter: * putting his hand on his chin* Hmm, i see. Hunter then snaps his finger's and stands up, he looks at dylan with a huge grin on his face, Dylan just looks at him with a confused look on his face. Dylan: * Confused* you ok Hunter? Hunter: * turning the t.v off* I just had a cool idea, you go talk to the others while i go talk the master, we'll meet in mission control. He begins to leave when he suddenly stops and face's dylan again. Hunter: Bring Chris to the mission control in about a two hour's, ok. Dylan: ok i will. Hunter then nods and leave's while Dylan just sit's there still little confused Dylan: *confused* ok what was all that about * getting up and leaving* oh well, i better get started. Dylan leaves the rest area and starts to talk to Skyler, Kayzer and all the other's while hunter talks to the master. ******* Dorm room 12:55 PM In the dorm room Chris is seen laying on his back looking at the ceiling when he hears a knock at the door. Chris: Hello.. Dylan: can i come in. Chris: sure.. *sigh's* if you want to. Dylan enter's the room and sits at the end of the bed near Chris. Dylan: feeling better. Chris: *still looking at the ceiling* No....! Dylan: Well, why dont you come with me, i might have something to cheer you up. Chris: * looking at Dylan* like what? Dylan: *smiling* well you'll have to come with me to find out. Chris: Fine, but i dont think it will make a difference. Dylan gets up and walks to the door and waits, while Chris slowly gets up and joins him a the door not to happy. Dylan: you ready to go. Chris: *sad* im ready. they both start to head down the corridor towards the mission control room. When they arrive all the lights are off which Chris found a bit strange and Dylan just stood there with a bit of a grin on his. Chris: why are the lights off? Dylan: Its ok, i'll just turn them on * go's over to the light switch* here go's. As soon as the lights come on you see a banner saying "welcome Chris" and there are lots of food spread out on the table, with all the rover's standing there. Chris: *shocked* what the....? All rovers: *shouting* SUPRISE! Chris: * happy* you guys did this for me. Colleen: well hunter and dylan are the one's responsible for this. Chris: *turns to hunter & dylan* you are..! Hunter: well, we needed to cheer you up somehow. Dylan: And you didn't get a proper welcome. Chris: *tearing up* Thank you. Just then Skyler and kayzer walk up to him. Skyler: listen, i just wanted to apologise for earlier, i was in a bad mood because i couldn't get my trick to work. Chris: *nodding* ok. Skyler: we cool. Chris: Yeah, lets start from scratch ok. They both shake hands and then skyler heads over to the table to eat some of the food. Kayzer: And i just want to say sorry too if i upset you. Chris: *chuckles* I thought i was me to apologise to you. Kayzer: Hmm, i guess were both sorry. they both start laughing and head over to the table were everyone is choosing what to eat, Chris sits next to Dylan and begin s to eat. Colleen: Chris are you feeling better. Chris: yeah i'll be fine, as long as my guardian angel is with me. Chris then nudge's Dylan, who begins to blush a little. Then you hear someone crying and everyone turns around and see's its Exile. Hunter: Exile, why are you crying? Exile: *crying* its just....*sniff* what he said was beautiful. Colleen: *to chris* He's a little senstive Chris: * to Exile* you ok? Exile: Da...*wiping tears* i'll be dokie okie. Hunter: *Shouting* to the power of the pack! Then they all howl together which strike's Chris as odd Hunter: hey Chris you want a go. Chris: *chuckle's * maybe next time *thinking* i know i'm away from my family but with my new freinds, i will never be alone. the screen starts to pan out and all you can see is Chris laughing and joking with hunter and the other's until eventually the screen fades out.
