Inside the factory you see huge crates with the words fragile written on them and they are been brought in by Cano mutants which are like humans but with a head and tail of a dog. As they are bringing them in a Cano mutant drops a crate which annoys one of the human troops in charge. Troop: Hey, watch it that stuff is expensive. The Cano mutant just glare’s at the troop and then shrugs his shoulders and carry’s on bringing in the crates. The troop just turns around mumbling to himself and all the time this was going on you see a man with a tin helmet and bionic arm and leg watching the whole thing, this is Parvo. Parvo: Hmm, it seems tension is building between the troops, maybe it was our last failure against those stupid Road Rovers. If only I could have gotten the super decrypter chip which would give me control of all the nuclear warheads and the military satellites all around the world from one computer. ??????: Don’t blame yourself general, you’ll win next time I can guarantee that. From another room you see a woman walk in wearing red and has a helmet on just like parvo, this is groomer. She walks up to parvo smiling and holding some documents in her hand. Parvo: huh, oh groomer doesn’t matter what you say I will never win with those road rovers always sticking there wet stupid nose’s in my business. Groomer then starts to twirl parvo’s moustache and place’s the document she was carrying in his hands. He has a look at the document which reads “warp gate 1002” this make’s him a bit curious and excited at the same time. Parvo (excited): So what does this warp gate 1003 do? Groomer: Its warp gate 1002 general. Parvo: Whatever, so are you going to tell me! Groomer: Well basically, it will transport you to a world which is similar to this one with a few difference’s. And there are two things there that you have always wanted. Parvo: which are? Groomer: One is the decrypter chip, it is there and it has been forgotten and abandoned in an old military base. Parvo: oh yes! Lady luck is shining on me today, and what is the other difference. Groomer: And two is that the Road Rovers don’t exist there. Parvo(grinning): excellent , let us depart to this new world and get our prize. Power up the warp gate 1004 now! Groomer: Its warp gate 1002, General. Parvo: Whatever! The screen fades out and as it does all you can see is Parvo’s face grinning evilly. When it fades back you see a quiet street with rows of houses and the camera starts to head towards one. Inside the house you find yourself in a bedroom which is a total mess with clothes and underwear all over the floor and empty cans of pop on the desk. Then you notice someone in bed with the covers on there face and one of there legs hanging out, then you her someone calling from down stairs. Woman’s voice: You better be out of bed, you told your mates you will meet them at 10:00AM and now its 9:30AM and you haven’t eaten yet. Voice under cover: But mummy its raining frogs outside and I haven’t got my pink umbrella…ZZZZZZZ Woman’s voice: What the? Are you sleep talking to me. Voice under cover: ZZZZZZZ. After a few snores she ran upstairs to find them still sleeping in bed, then she rips off the covers and you see a teenage boy with short black hair just wearing his boxer’s snoring away. Woman’s voice: Chris wake up! Chris then jumps up startled looking around his room, he sees his mum standing over him with an annoyed look on her face. (I’ll call her “mum” from now on) Chris: Huh, oh hi mum. Mum: Hi mum! that’s all you can say after I’ve been trying to wake you for thirty minute’s. Chris: Why have you been trying to wake me? Mum: Your supposed to meet your friends, remember. Chris’s eye’s go wide as he scrambles out of bed and puts on some black combat trousers, white t-shirt, blue jacket and some white trainers. He runs downstairs and grabs a banana and a bottle of coke for his breakfast and dash’s out the front door. Mum (To herself): That boy would forget his head if it weren’t screwed on. Chris then arrives where his mates were supposed to meet him and when he spotted them he walked over. One of the lads was around the same height as Chris and wore a black leather jacket, baseball cap turned backwards, blue jeans and a blue t- shirt this was Jack and the other was smaller than Chris and wore a green jumper, brown parker coat, black jeans and a woolly hat this was Bill. Jack: Well sleeping beauty awakens. Bill: Ha ha, sleeping beauty you crack me up. Chris: Whatever, so I overslept a little. Jack: A little! If you slept anymore people would think you were in a coma. Chris: Ok I get it, what do you want to do tonight, I hope its something interesting. Bill: DUUUDE! It’ll rock your mind. Jack: Bill calm down, anyway tonight were going inside the old abandoned factory in the wood’s and have ourselves a snoop around. Chris: What’s so great about a stupid old factory anyway. Bill: You haven’t heard the best part yet. Jack: Rumour has it that it was a factory for the military and that they left in a hurry because it was haunted by a ghost and I want to look around to see if they have any cool gear in there. Chris: that sounds awesome, lets do it. Jack: Same time! Chris: Midnight. Jack: you got it. They all leave in different directions as the screen fades out when it fades back in you see a old building with a huge fence with barbed wire around the top. Inside are old run down computers and crates with strange markings on them. Then lightening and a big flash reveal a portal and out walks Parvo and Groomer with five Cano-mutants and five human troops. Parvo: Ok its “11:45 PM” you Cano-mutants split up and find me that computer chip as for the rest of you patrol outside and stop anyone from coming in, you got that! Then they all scatter off to there posts when Groomer remembers something important about the warp gate 1002 that she had forgot to mention to parvo. Groomer: General there is something important I’ve forgot to tell you. The warp gate 1002 has a glitch. Parvo: What GLITCH!! Groomer: It seems we can only spend an hour here and then we will automatically be sent back to our world. Parvo: Then we better hurry. The Cano-mutants franticly search for the chip meanwhile Chris, Jack and Bill head towards the fence and use some wire cutters to make a hole, everything was going fine until they hear voice’s coming towards them so they hide in a couple of bush’s and wait. Two troops walk past and they talking to each other while carrying guns. Chris: I thought this place was abandoned! Jack: It is or I thought it was? Bill: Looks like the military have moved back in. Chris: Come on lets leave before they spot us. Jack: NO! I want to know what they are doing back here. Then Jack makes a break for the door and into the warehouse were all the crate’s are being stored he has a quick check for guards and signals the other two to come in. Chris: This is crazy they could shoot us. Bill: Or worse, they could arrest us. Chris: Dude you have to sort out your priority’s. Then they both run to were Jack had gone and were amazed at how many crates were here but most was broken weapons and old circuit boards. Jack: What a pile of crap! Chris: All this stuff is old and broken and it doesn’t make sense. Bill: What don’t make sense? Chris: All this stuff is years old, the place is falling apart and there are guards patrolling the area and the big question is why? Jack: Yeah your right! They must be searching for something. Chris: Lets find it first, it must be valuable and then we can sell it and split it three ways. Jack: hey, now your talking chr….!!? Bill (Scared): What…the…hell? Chris: Are you guys ok? Chris is bit confused what they were doing until Jack and Bill point behind him and when Chris turns around he sees a dark figure coming towards them, It was huge and hairy and was growling. Chris couldn’t make out what it was because it was to dark. Jack: It’s the ghost, its real. Bill: MUUUUUUUUUMMY!!!! The figure then grabs Chris’s arm and no matter how hard Chris tried he couldn’t get free because it was so strong. Jack and Bill looked at each other and ran screaming as Chris shouted for help the figure then knocked him out and then stepped into the light to reveal a Cano-Mutant, it picked him up and carried him off. Then you see Parvo tapping his foot and looking at his watch when two Cano-mutants come in with one of them carrying Chris. Parvo: Well, did you find it. Cano-mutant 1: I found that dip you wanted sir. Parvo: Its called a chip, you idiot! The Cano-mutant pass’s Parvo the chip and he checks it over and over until an evil smile comes over his face and he chuckles to himself. As the rest of the troops and Cano-mutants return to go back home Parvo notice’s Chris unconscious under the Cano-mutants arm. Parvo: Who is that you are carrying? Cano-mutant 2: I don’t know, he’s an intruder I think. Parvo: Hmm, an intruder I hate being spied on. Groomer: General, 30 second’s till we get sent back home. Parvo walks up to Chris and picks him up with his bionic arm and looks him over and while this is happening groomer is counting down from five until a big flash of light enters the room and engulfs everyone including Chris. And when the light dies down they are back in Parvos base. Groomer: We made it back general and we still have the chip don’t we. Parvo: Yes, I still have it and I will soon…huh? Parvo then remembers he has Chris and thinks about what he is going to do with him and then he has a brainstorm of what use he could be. Parvo: Take him to a cell and tie him up and if the rovers show up they will have a hostage situation on there hands, ha ha ha “cough” lozenge. Groomer: strawberry or lemon? Parvo: Strawberry I’m not keen on lemons, too bitter. Then Groomer shoots a lozenge into Parvo’s mouth while at the same time they carry Chris away. After a hour of being unconscious Chris wakes up with a sore head and when he went to rub it he realized his hands were tied and the rest of him was tied down to a chair and the room was completely bare and all it had was a door. Chris: What happened, were am I, Wait I remember Jack and Bill left me to that thing that attacked us, wait till I see them, that is if I can get out of here first. Then the door opened and in walked a troop followed by a dog that had human form it had a dark blue tank top, with black trousers and combat boots Chris tried to make out the breed but it was mixed. Just the look of him gave Chris the chills especially those piecing red eyes. Troop: Alright your coming with us! Chris: were are you taking me. Troop: I’ll ask the questions around here. Cano-mutant: No you wont! Because I will you fool. Troop (scared): Sorry , Jake sir. Chris: Jake? Chris watched in shock as Jake pummelled away at the troop and when he fell he didn’t stop he kept kicking him and Jake was enjoying every moment of it. Then when he was finished he turned his attention on Chris, who by now was wondering what he was going to do to him. Jake: What’s your name! Chris (nervous): Its…. Chris Jake: “Its Chris!” Geez don’t piss your pants you worthless sack of shit. The comment just made Chris go from being scared to being angry which helped him not be afraid of Jake, well a little bit. Jake just stood there staring at him while two troops came in and dragged out the other troop who Jake beat up, then he approached Chris with a knife in his hand and Chris thought it was all over when he started cutting the ropes that tied him to the chair but he still had the rope around his hands. Jake (Cutting ropes): there done, now got off your ass and follow me. Chris: ……… Jake: what! Thought I was letting you go. He then cuts the side of his face with the knife and grabs him and push’s him out of the door. He leads him to a big room with a monitor with the map of the world on it and there are people typing on computers and one is writing down notes on a clipboard. Jake ties Chris to another chair (“déjà vu” isn’t it ) and he notice’s Parvo and Groomer talking to the scientist with the clipboard. Scientist: we have finished putting the chip into the system sir. Parvo: excellent, now I can take over the world and no one will be able to stop me not even those Road Rovers. Chris: your afraid that a bunch of cars are going to stop you, Dude you must be tripping. Parvo: who said that? Chris ( thinking): Why did I open my big mouth and get him mad. Parvo walks over to Chris with Groomer not to far behind looking rather annoyed. While Jake walks out the room fed up of wait ing around and listening to Parvo. Parvo: Not land rovers you stupid boy, Road Rovers. Chris: the more you say it the more I don’t understand it. Groomer: general the Road Rovers don’t exist in his world, remember. Parvo: Ah yes that’s right * turns to Chris rubbing his chin* well they are a bunch of do Gooding dogs that always get in my understand! Chris: *Eyes wide open* Okay!* to himself* I’ve entered the twilight zone. Parvo: Good now that’s settled, were was we. As Parvo and Groomer continue to talk to the scientist Chris starts checking his surroundings and he eyes a strange machine which kind of looked like a round door with lights on. Chris (sarcastic): Yo! What’s with the prop from the stargate series? Parvo: What are you talking about now. Chris: That thing over there, what is it? Parvo: It’s the warp gate we used to enter your world, now shut up! Chris: Ok, why don’t you power that thing up and I’ll be on my way. Parvo: No! now shut up. Chris: But I wont tell anyone what I saw, besides who would believe me. Parvo: I’m using you as a hostage, now SHUT UP! Chris: * furious* great, then go FUCK YOURSELF! Parvo turns around and gives Chris a angry stare and nods at Groomer, she then walks up to Chris with a piece of cloth and then gags him with it. Groomer: Good, now you will shut up. Chris ( trying to speak): Mrf….upid….itch? Groomer: I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that. Chris decides its up to him to escape, as he starts to hop towards the warp gate the chair clangs on the floor making parvo turn around. He just stares at Chris and then turns back to the scientist to continue the discussion and then Chris continues to hop. Then the chair clangs on the floor again but this time Groomer turns around, but Chris winks at her and she turns back around in disgust. All was going well until a large explosion knocked Chris into the wall and unconscious ( I know, “déjà vu” again). Parvo: what the! Who did that. As Parvo said that Hunter, Colleen and shag emerge through the hole in the wall they created. Parvo searched for Chris to use as a hostage and then he spotted him on his back unconscious. He ran over to him and picked him up and showed him to the Road Rovers. Parvo: Alright Rovers, stay there or this boy doesn’t see his family again. Hunter: * turns to the others* Rovers stay back, *glares at parvo* ok parvo let him go. Parvo: I cannot do that, you see he is your weakness. Colleen: * to herself* I thought it was tennis balls. Parvo: You wont attack me as long as I hold him because you don’t dare risk his life. Hunter: Fine, you got us parvo. Parvo: Good, now stay there while I check the decrypter chip is in place. Hunter: Whoa wait a minute! didn’t we destroy that chip last week. Colleen: Hard to say, we do destroy a lot of things. Hunter: Yeah, good point. Parvo then puts Chris on the ground and walks over to the rovers as they are being tied up by Cano-mutants and goes right up to Hunters face. Parvo: Yes you did! But we used that warp gate over there to travel to a parallel world were the chip was safe and sound from you rovers. Colleen: Another world? now I’ve heard everything. Parvo: Yes and that’s were I picked up my hostage as well. Hunter: you brought him here too, you better take him back to his family right now parvo. Parvo: What are you going to do, as you noticed you’re a bit tied up at the moment* snickers*. Groomer: good one general * starts laughing*. Then Parvo walks away with Groomer and starts to choose a target on the computer console to send a nuclear warhead too, meanwhile some Cano-mutants carry the Road Rovers away to a cell which looked like the one Chris was in. Cano-mutant: *locking door* enjoy your stay rovers. Hunter: Are they becoming more sarcastic or is it me? Colleen: I don’t know, but I’m not waiting around to find out. Then colleen reaches towards her belt and pulls out a nail file and starts to file away at the rope until it breaks and colleen is free, then she walks over to Hunter. Colleen: ladies essentials, never leave home without em. Hunter: Good, now cut mine and shags. Colleen cuts Hunters and Shags ropes and before long they were free but then came the trouble of getting out of the cell, hunter leaned against the wall thinking and scratching his head. Then Colleen just walks up to the door and bangs on it. Hunter (shocked): Colleen! What are you doing. Colleen: *two Cano-mutants come in* Just watch. Cano-mutant 1: why are you free? Cano-mutant 2: forget that! lets get them before Jake finds out. Colleen: *stepping forward* Here’s phase two of my plan. Colleen then runs up to both Cano-mutants and does a roundhouse kick which knocks both of there guns out of there hands, then one of the Cano- mutants tries to punch her but she blocks it with her arm and counters with a kick to the stomach and a chop to the neck, knocking him unconscious. Colleen: *looking at the other Cano-mutant* do you want some more or are you gonna give up. The Cano-mutant then gets on his knees with his hands in the air whimpering while Hunter asks shag for some rope, Shag then rummages around in his fur and pulls out some nylon rope then ties the Cano-mutant up. Hunter: Something is missing? Shag: Rah rah. Shag then pulls a sticker out of his fur that reads “Do not disturb” and sticks it over the Cano-mutants mouth so that it cannot call for help. Hunter: so that’s what was missing, good work shag. Exile: * on radio* Is everything dokie okie over there. Hunter: were fine, how are you two doing with the repairs to the Rover jet. Exile: * on radio* Nearly finished, but it would of go a lot faster if weirdboy helped. Blitz: *In background on radio* You think I’m going to help and ruin my nails you can think again, I just had a manicure. Exile: *on radio* Anyway hunter you should be more careful on your landings, because one day we might blow upski. Hunter: * coughs* ok I’ll remember that next time, keep me posted on how the repairs are going * puts radio away* lets stop parvo. All three run down the corridor and enter the room were Parvo and groomer are still trying to choose a target when colleen takes out some of the guards which catches the attention of parvo. Parvo: No the road rovers. Hunter: * holding tennis ball* That’s right now catch. Parvo: No don’t this computer is fragile! it could self destruct. But it was to late Hunter already had thrown the ball which blew up the Main computer and all the other computers, and all you could see was scientist’s, Cano-mutants and troops running like crazy for the exits. Colleen: *running towards Hunter* Why are they running away. Computer voice: self destruct activated, 2 minutes left till self destruct. Hunter: That’s why! *looking around* where’s Parvo and Groomer? Then you see parvo, groomer and jake running for the exit, Hunter notices’ this and shouts Shag for some assistance, Shag then rummages around in his fur and pulls out a rocket launcher and aims for the exit they are all running to, but Shag has it the wrong way round. Hunter: No Shag! The other way round. But Shag had already fired the rocket and all the rovers watched in horror as it blew up the warp gate 1002 device. Parvo: See you rovers, till next time. Jake: See you mongrels later. Hunter: great they got away Colleen: we have bigger problems! We have to get out of here before this place blows up. Just then the roof falls in and you see a ladder fall down and when you look up you see the rover jet, hunter then runs up and starts to climb followed by colleen, Shag goes and finds Chris and carries him up the ladder into the jet and it takes off. Computer voice: 3...2...1! Just then you see the whole base explode and the rovers let out a sigh of relief . Hunter: Exile, Blitz you saved us! Blitz: It was nothing. Exile (piloting): exactly, you didn’t do nothing. Hunter: hey exile there’s no “I” in team. Exile: there’s no weirdboy in team too but we got one of them. Hunter then stretches and begins to walk to his seat when he notices Chris still unconscious on the floor and then he realizes that he cannot go home because the machine got destroyed and all the files got blown up which makes hunter feel a little guilty and responsible. Colleen: * to hunter* what are we going to do with him he’s got nowhere to go. Shag (crying): Rha ra ru. Hunter: hey stop blaming yourself ok, we’ll ask the master he’ll know what to do. When they arrive back at the RRMC they put Chris to rest in one of the spare dorms and head to the master to let him know how the mission went. They all sat down and then a man with grey hair, a long white coat with glowing white eyes appears on the balcony, this is the master. Master: Rovers did you complete your mission. Hunter: yes master we did but…. Master: What is it Hunter? Hunter: well master, there is this boy we brought back with us and now he’s homeless because of us. Master: Ok Hunter why don’t we start from the beginning with what you know. Blitz: * standing up and leaving* well, I’m going to get some beauty sleep if that’s ok with you. Master: Ok Blitz, goodnight After Blitz leaves Hunter then starts to explain to the Master how they met Chris, meanwhile Chris starts to stir and finally wakes up, he has a look around the room and sees there is a bed, toilet, shower and a desk apart from all that it is plain. Chris then gets up confused and wonders where he is. Chris: Ok where am I, this isn’t my room *walks into corridor* this place is weird, where am I. Chris then continues to walk down the corridor and along the way he sees a living room, kitchen, gym and a game room with pool tables,dartboard and a bar. All seemed fine until he bumped into blitz around a corner. Blitz: Hey watch were your * looks at Chris* A SPY! Chris: I’m not a spy! Blitz: Don’t lie to me I know what a spy looks like * shows teeth* let the biting of mushy parts begin. Chris: I beg your pardon? Then with that Blitz starts to chase Chris down the corridor trying to bite him, meanwhile Hunter, Colleen, Exile and shag leave the briefing room and were prepared to go to bed when Colleen notices Hunter looks upset. Colleen: What’s wrong Hunter? Hunter: I cannot stop thinking about him, what’s he gonna say when he finds out we blew up the only chance for him to go home. Voice: STAY AWAY FROM MY ASS! Hunter: No! I don’t think he’ll say that Exile. Exile: I didn’t say anything? Colleen: * pointing down the corridor* What the blooming hell? They all turn around to see Blitz chasing Chris and trying to bite him and they are all speechless, when Chris all of a sudden stops and faces blitz coming towards him. Chris ( furious): There’s only enough a guy can take. He then punches Blitz in the jaw sending him to the ground, he then gets up even more mad than before with his teeth showing. Blitz ( shouting): Your going to be my next chew toy! Chris ( panting): Bring..it..on! Colleen: * standing in between them* Stop it you two! Do you want to wake everyone up. Chris: * looking at colleen* great another one, that’s all I need. Hunter ( reassuring): No you got it wrong were the good guys, we saved you from Parvo. Chris ( nervous): * thinking* I’m surrounded great! * to hunter* yeah buddy and I’m Santa clause. Exile: He’s telling the truthski, we saved you. Chris: * pointing at Blitz* And I’m guessing that’s how you say hello! Blitz: Sorry, I forget that we brought him back with us it was just instinct, I used to be guard dog remember. Chris: Is this true. Hunter: Yes, a Road Rover never lies. Chris: Road Rover * thinks for a moment* yes parvo mentioned you, you really are the good guys. Hunter: You see! Told ye. Colleen: What’s your name? Chris: * stepping Back* Its Chris. Hunter: * confused* What’s the matter. Chris: Well the last time I told one of your kind my name he cut my face. Colleen ( reassuring): Don’t worry, we wont do anything like that. Chris: yeah, I’ll never forget his red piecing eyes and his name, Jake. All rovers: JAKE! Chris: I guess you all know him. Exile: he’s Dylan’s evil older brother. Chris: Who’s Dylan? Hunter: Its ok you’ll meet him tomorrow * remembering* oh, we forgot to introduce ourselves, I’m hunter. Exile: My name is Exile. Colleen: My names Colleen *waves* hello. Shag: Rha Rha. Chris: What? Hunter: He says his name is Shag. Blitz (smug): I’m Blitz, the handsome one. Chris : *sarcastic* yeah, you and my Butt have met! *turns to hunter* are you guys going to take me home. Hunter: we have something to tell you about that you see…. Master: * over speaker* Hunter bring Chris to me and we’ll explain everything to him together. Chris: who was that? Hunter: The master, lets go see him ok. Chris: Alright, lead the way. Chris then followed Hunter and the others to the briefing room were he seen the Master standing there waiting for them to arrive, Chris was a bit surprised he was human but Chris wasn’t bothered about that at the moment all he wanted was to go home, all the rovers sat down while Chris stood there staring at the Master . Master: hello there Chris. Chris (nervous): hello sir. Master: Its ok no need to be nervous, would you like to sit down. Chris: *sitting down* Thank you sir. Master: please, call me Master. Chris: Ok, Master. Master: Now Chris, are you going to tell me how you got caught up in all this. Chris nods and starts them everything about meeting his friends to explore the old base in his world, parvo’s goons kidnapping him and using him as a hostage, about Jake and about being unconscious and waking up here. Master: that’s a big story you got there. Chris: Master, are you going to help me get back home. All the rovers hang there heads down upset and Shag starts to cry, Chris wondered what was wrong and then the master explained everything about the mission and the fact that the warp gate got destroyed and that he is stuck here. Chris: I’m stuck here * starting to cry* I wont be able to see my family again and were will I go, I have no home. Master: I’m really sorry Chris, but I’ve been talking to the others and we were wondering if you would like to live here. Chris: * wiping away some tears* you would do that for me. Hunter: Sure we would bro, it’s the least we could after the trouble we caused you. Chris: you guys didn’t do anything it was all Parvo’s fault. Master: Exile would you like to show Chris to his new room. Exile: come on comrade Chris, follow me. Chris then gets up and follows Exile down the corridors until they reach a door and exile opens it and shows Chris around in it, it had its own toilet ,shower and bed. Exile: Its not much and its plain at the moment but when you start to put posters and buy things for it, it should be fine. Chris: No this is fine, thank you Exile. Exile: Ok, you should try to get some sleep its really late and you have been through a lot, Come to think of it we all should go to bedski. Exile then leaves and closes the door behind him, Chris goes and sits down on the bed and looks at the ceiling and he starts to think to himself. Chris: * thinking* I miss my family so much will I be able to cope on my own in this new life, I hope the others don’t mind me being here *lies down* I hope I fit in. Then Chris falls asleep on the bed and if you look closely you can see a tear roll down his cheek, then you see Hunter, Colleen, Exile, Shag, Blitz all sleeping in there own beds and then the screen fades to black. THE END
