Champion German Pinschers & Manchester Terriers

Who We Are

Tanya Kaminski grew up raising and showing Champion Quarter Horses.  An active member of her local 4-H organization, she won numerous awards.  Her family also raised smooth dachshunds which she exhibited smooth dachshunds in AKC.    It was also at this time that she learned grooming for Jane Hartman, wife to Doc Hartman, premier ear cropper for Dobermans and Boxers at the time.  She has been active in all breed rescue groups in the greater Toledo area for many years as well.  In 1998, Tanya acquired her first German Pinscher, Lexie.  They have been active in therapy work, as well as AKC Obedience since.  In 2004, she acquired her first Standard Manchester Terrier, Quinn.

Joelle Kaminski has been influenced by animals all her life as well.  As a young child, she had a special affinity for cats, though her admiration for canines grew as she did.  She trained a Doberman, Raven, for obedience when she was still in grade school.  She also trained the smooth dachshund she had recieved as a present for her eighteenth birthday, Jetta, for her CGC test.  Joelle and Jetta were quite popular at the nursing homes because of Jetta's cute tricks and her small size.  Joelle found the German Pinscher breed in 1998 when seeking a Doberman line without Cardiomyopathy.  While such a thing was nearly non-existant at the time, she has made the commitment to maintain healthy, sound German Pinschers for future generations.
