Chokai J.H.S. School Festival |
| This year's Chokai J.H.S. was a great success. It was a classy event from start to finish and the students and teachers of Chokai deserve all the credit. This year's theme was "We are Shining Stars," and the students certainly lived up it. This year's festival was kicked off by the class songs. Each class sang a song (and played the music) for the audience and the teachers joined in as well. (We even through in a little dance.) There were also some outstanding presentations the students had prepared in their general studies classes. |

| The students also performed a Japanese rendition of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves." This play was outstanding. San-nensei student A.Y. put on a great performance as Snow White and the entire cast did a tremendous job. Y.H. and H.S. also recited their speeches from last month's English speech contest. Several students participated in some traditional Japanese dancing. And to top it off, the brass band club performed another great concert. The students put a lot of effort into preparing for this festival and it definitely showed. The teachers also deserve credit for their efforts in helping the students get ready. The entire school had a part in this event and everyone deserves congratulations for making the festival a success. |
