It is highly recommended that progesterone testing and or vaginal smears be done prior to any breedings to ensure the timing is accurate.
•Stud Fee Includes: Minimum of 2 breedings during the same heat, it can be either natural tie or artificial insemination.
•Artificial Insemination: We will collect and ship fresh chilled semen through our Veterinarian. It is the bitch owner’s responsibility to make shipping arrangements, pay semen collection, preparation and shipping expenses to the collection facility. We are not responsible for chilled semen once it has left the collection facility. With chilled semen, it is the responsibility of the owner of the bitch to make sure that they are dealing with a competent and experienced veterinarian.
•Natural Breeding: The approved bitch can be brought/shipped to our property for short stays, or can be left here for up to 1 week at a time during her heat. A round trip pick-up and delivery fee at the Sacramento Airport (SMF) is $100 and is required to be prepaid. It must be understood that there is always a risk when transporting and boarding dogs. Injury or illness can occur, and dogs can escape despite all our precautions. It is further understood that the owners of the stud dog are not insurers of the bitch and are not liable for her loss, health or injury.
If we are unable to get a natural breeding it may be decided to perform artificial insemination. A.I. would be at the buyer's expense.
•Guarantee: If the bitch fails to become pregnant with at least 2 puppies, we will agree to repeat the breeding on her next heat at no additional fee.

CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS:
•Stud application must be submitted for each individual bitch.
•The approved females should have a sound temperament and not be dog aggressive.
•The soonest we would stud to a bitch is on or after her 3rd heat. Ideally she should be over the age of 2 yrs.
•Must be AKC registered(other registries may be ok too, ask for details).
•The bitch must be brucelosis tested no more than 2 weeks prior to any natural tie.
•Bitches must have been examined by a Veterianarian within the year, be current on all vaccines(DHLPP/Bordetella/Rabies), dewormed, and free of fleas/ticks.
•Owner of the Bitch is to keep us informed of any planned A.I. dates, pregnancy ultrasounds and/or x-rays. We are to be notified once the litter is born and told the details(litter size, colors, sexes and markings).
