Hi there. This article is my review of the Battlefoam case and trays I have purchased.
Firstly why spend all that money on Battlefoam when you can get GW cases?
These are my reasons:
I received my weekly Wayland Games Newsletter and it said that they had become the distributer for Battlefoam products here in the UK.
As the cases and foam can be pricey, at first I only purchased the P.A.C.K 216 with the GW paint and tool foam load out. This cost me around £60 and this is what you get (note tools, paints and models are mine):

As you can see on the photo I have marked all the great points about the case. The modular zip system is where the case can be attached to some of the other Battlefoam cases which is great if you want to take some models and some paints, rather than having to take all you models and paints.
So lets open this case up.

Before we even get to the first tray we have a 24 spaced paint brush holder on the underneath of the lid. I put my paintbrushes and modelling tools in here and they are totally protected.
Moving onto the trays. These trays are fantastic. The foam is 10 times tougher than GW’s and the bottom is reinforced to prevent bending. The spaces are preshaped to give you the most secure fit.
Tray 1 Tools:

This tray has enough space for the majority of GW tools. The only thing I wish it had is a proper space for a couple of basing material pots, as I have just put them in a spare space.
Tray 2 Paints:

This tray is awesome. The paints fit in so well that i turned the tray upside down and none fell out.
You can fit 50 paints in this tray alone.
Tray 3 Paints:

You get another paint tray so that 100 paints all together! As you can see I have even used the extra spaces for some models.
Your probably thinking I don’t use GW paints? Well not to worry because they also do trays for Vallejo and P3 paints.
I was so happy with the case that I was confident enough in the product to buy some model trays and cases. The cases I haven’t received yet but I have some of the trays.

Again the trays are precut and really sturdy. I love the devilfish tray and they do so many different varieties available on the Battlefoam website or over on Wayland Games.
If they don’t have what you want you can actually create your own trays and they will make them for you.
Overall a fantastic product and well worth spending the extra money to protect your favourite and well painted models.
