Chivalric Weekend, July 10 and 11, 2010

In 2010 the Lake Ontario Fechtschule will host it's Second "Chivalric Weekend", a Selohaar Fechtschule event. A three day, two nights of historical fencing in the Medieval German and Italian Fighting Arts with several intructors from the United States. These instructors include Christian Henry Tobler of Selohaar Fechtschule, Greg Melee of the Chicago Sword Play Guild, Roger Siggs of the Roky Mountain Sword Guild, Bill Grady of the Virginia Fencing Academy, Jessica Finley of the Great Plains Fechtschule, Pete kautz of Alliance Martial Arts, and many more.
Chivalric Weekend alternates it's year with Chicago Swordplay Guild's Western Martial Arts Workshop.

- An Armorsmith's Symposium with Mercenaries Tailor: Armorsmiths are welcomed to come and network , exchange ideas and techniques with others in thier craft such as Allen Senefelder, Jason Perfetto, Jeff Wasson and David Edge (tentative).
- An archery tournment (pleas bring your bows)
- Bouting Tournment
- The Chivalric Roundtable: An outdoor open forum discussion on the medieval arts around a large bonfire.
- Lectures on the sword by leading sword experts Dr. Lee Jones, Dan Maragni and Paul Champagne (tentative).
- "Slaying of the Swine" Saturday night attendees will enjoy a succuent pig roast.
