Policies

Buyer/Seller Protection

I accept customers regardless of race, religion/beliefs, gender, age, or sexual orientation. However, I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone I am otherwise uncomfortable with. I do not accept harassment, rule violations, or customers with very poor buyer-related reputations.  

I require a contract between myself and the customer for every order. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the contract for you. This is to keep the customer and myself from being scammed. Feel free to email me at catszeto@gmail.com for a preview copy of the contract. If you have problems with signing a contract for valid reasons, please contact me.

Wigs

I use high-quality synthetic fiber wigs from stores that I trust for their wigs' quality. These wig fibers include kanekalon, toyokalon, and Elora. I also accept wigs you already own. However, I do not work with human hair wigs or cheap-quality "party wigs". If you are unsure if a wig is good enough quality for me to work with, contact me before requesting a quote. 

Accessories

I do make accessories, but only anything that is attached to the wig. I only make accessories if you are ordering a wig. If you or another commissioner will be making the accessories, that is perfectly fine, just make sure you tell me.

Ordering

To begin an order, please check my "Availablity" page to see if I have time available to create your order and ship it out to you in time. If I do, request a free quote using the "Request a Quote" page.

When I reply to you, I will give you an estimate price of your order using material costs, number of labor hours x my styling fee, and a shipping estimate. This price is NOT a guarantee since it may change once we figure out exactly what you want with your order. I may also reply that I cannot make your wig or accessories for certain reasons, such as I do not not have enough time to create it before your deadline or I do not have the expertise for it.

If you are unhappy with the quote, you can ask me to explain why specific parts of the quote cost what they do or request that you are willing to sacrifice certain aspects of the order to reduce the price. However, do not reply that another commissioner can work the order with a cheaper price and expect me to lower the price for you. Instead, simply reply you have found someone else and thank me for my quote. I will not be offended in any way and we will both be much happier. 

What is a typical quote like? All quotes will vary according to the references and customer preference, but I can at least give you what a "bare minimum" quote would be like. Theses quotes consist of the least work and materials possible, i.e. just a wig and 1 hour of styling fee, and shipping without a wig head. My current rate for styling is $9.50 per hour.

**These are MINIMUM styling quotes! This means your quotes will most likely cost at least this much, but they are usually more.**

Short wig: $30 (wig) + $9.50 (1 hour of styling fee) + $8 (shipping)  Total: $45.50

Medium wig: $40 (wig) + $9.50 (1 hour of styling fee) + $8 (shipping) Total: $55.50

Long wig: $50 (wig) + $9.50 (1 hour of styling fee) + $8 (shipping)Total: $65.50

Sometimes, quotes may be even cheaper than these, as I've found good quality long wigs for under $40. However, keep these prices in mind when considering your budget. Shipping fees vary depending on the size of the wig and the destination.

Quotes are valid for up to 6 months if you do not sign a commission contract with me unless I give you permission otherwise for certain reasons. Any re-quotes will be updated in accordance to updated fees. 

Communication

Proper communication is very important. I require at least two forms of valid contact information, other than mailing addresses, for you and myself to put into the contract.

If I contact you, please respond! I will be asking for information that is significant to your commission. I understand if you're busy and can't respond in a few days. However, if you do not respond in 30 days, all materials become my property. I will attempt in good faith to contact you using all your contact information.

Reservations

Reservations are first come, first serve. Requesting a quote does NOT count as a reservation. I will reserve a spot for you only after I have received your first payment and signed contract. Please check my "Availabilty" page to see if I have room for you before submitting a quote.

 Generally, I will announce that my schedule will most likely have spots filled for you if you and I are discussing seriously about your order to help customers decide whether or not they should submit a quote request. However, if you suddenly disappear in the midst of communication and don't reply after a reasonable amount of time (about a week), I have the right to move on to the next customer because I technically did not reserve a spot for you. I apologize if that sounds rude, but it would not be fair to other customers if I held spots for people who do not go through with their orders.

Payment

I do have payment plans available, which I can discuss with you. I always require at least the cost of materials up front.   

I only accept Paypal, money orders, and personal checks. Money orders and checks must be in US Dollars. Paypal can convert some currencies to USD for me, but contact me before submitting a quote to see if your currency will work.

I do not begin a commission until I receive payment first. If you are on a payment plan, I will not purchase materials or work past the agreed amount for the previous payment until I receive the next payment.

Shipping

For most orders, I require a wig head to ship a wig safely. If there is a case where the wig will not be damaged if shipped with an envelope, I will notify you since this could save you money on shipping.

By default, I use USPS (United States Postal Service) to ship wigs. I have used their service before to ship wigs and many other things and they arrived safely. However, you may request for me to use another carrier and I will see if it is available for me. I do ship internationally.

I provide a tracking number at for free to the customer. This is for me to ensure that your package is moving along safely. However, it is up to your to pay extra for additional upgrades such as insurance or Express Mail.

Returns/Refunds

There is a no returns policy. However, if a wig arrives damaged due to improper packing, I will be happy to walk you through on how to repair your wig.

I have the final say on a refund. If you need to stop a commission for emergency reasons, I will give a refund based on costs of unused materials and styling hours. You may choose to keep the wig as it is or I will try to sell the wig for you. If I sell the wig, I will refund you what you paid for the wig.   

I give partial refunds if I overestimate a quote. The partial refund will be given based on unused materials, styling hours, and shipment fees. 

If I underestimate the quote, I will work the extra styling hours for free since those are mistakes on my part. However, you will need to pay for extra materials and shipment services if you desire them. For example, if you changed your mind about a wig color so you want a new base wig and you wanted express shipping, you will need to pay for the new wig and the express shipping upgrade fee in addition to your original quote that is in your contract.

Competitions

You may certainly enter whatever competitions you like with your wig. However, you must give me credit or at least say you did not make your wig and any accessories that I made for you.
