Lewis Jackson Journal #1

What's up everybody. This yo boy Lewis Jackson from Decatur Eisenhower. Writting my first journal to keep yall updated on me. I played for Team Indiana/Elite this summer. We were one of the top 5 teams in the nation. Our AAU team had 10 D-1 players. Beas Hamga (UNLV), Emmanuel Negedu (Arizona), DeAndre Liggins(Kentucky), Walter Offutt (Ohio State), Matt Roth, and Kory Barnett (bothIndiana bound), Logan Jones (Valpo), Bud Mackey's future is up in the air, and the big fella Tyler Zeller is undecided. As for me I will be going to Purdue University.

My decision was really based on the relationship I had with the coaches. The program is really on its way back up and with the incoming freshman class they have really helped my choice. I have a real good oppurnity to become an impact freshman and that was a factor but the most important factor is that i feel that Purdue has a great reputation for helping their players graduate and be successful in life.

My senior year is here. I been working hard on and off the court and I feel that I have alot to prove this year. My main goal this year is a state championship. The individual accolades do not really matter to me, I mean don't get me wrong those are nice things to have, but I would rather win a state title. This is going to be a big year for my teammates and I, and believe me you will here about Decatur Eisenhower this year.
