Lewis Jackson 5'9 PG Eisenhower

Lewis Jackson

In case you haven’t heard yet, big things are going to happen this year in Decatur, especially at Eisenhower high school. Eisenhower High is lead by a Fiery PG named Lewis Jackson. Lewis stands around 5’9, but he doesn’t let that stop him from being one of the best players in Illinois.

Lewis plays AAU with the Indiana Elite 16u. He is their starting PG, and fills up the stat sheets at every tournament by feeding his teammates the ball, shooting from the outside, or taking the ball to the hole. He is joined on that team by his Eisenhower teammate, Jeremy Robinson, and Washington’s Matt Roth.

Lewis really broke onto the national scene this summer playing at various camps. At the Iowa Elite camp, he really impressed everyone, including head coach Steve Alford… “Me and coach Alford are pretty cool” says Lewis “He gave me confidence in my shot and told me if it looks good just to not think about it and shoot it. That helped me a lot and he’s a pretty cool guy”. Lewis also impressed at the Adidas all-American camp. He was one of the leaders in assists in the entire camp.

Lewis is one of the most heavily recruited players in the state right now. Iowa, Iowa State, UNLV, and Bradley have all offered, and DePaul, Illinois, Michigan State, Purdue, Stanford, Wisconsin, Clemson and FSU are all recruiting him hard. He has already taken an unofficial visit to the University of Illinois.
