Welcome to the first ONLINE presentation of this famous print-journal on chinchillas. 

CHINCHILLA POST (1956-2002) is dedicated to serious chinchilla breeding and keeping. It was published by professionals over half a century. 

Times change, however CP was over the years a constant resource of knowhow to Chinbreeders and Chinlovers alike. We wish to preserve and provide the given knowledge in new ways, such as the Internet.

CP ONLINE is a non-profit project, sponsored by my enthusisam, time, money and strong belief in good information sharing. We hope this will support the enhancement of the species as well as healthy breeding and respectful handling. 

CP was a cornerstone as publication and think-tank regarding chinchilla knowhow in Europe. And our search for best chinchilla breeding and keeping will never end. The longer you keep chinchillas, the more you realize that there are new things to learn every day. Our focus for the future is even stronger on health, housing, nutrition, genetics and longevity. 

Good information on the internet - free - is still something special! 

We are happy on CHINCHILLA POST (1956-2002) Online to be able to provide our readers with the highest standards on information-sharing equal to professional journals. Due to my academic qualifications and years of professional experiences of the finest publishing houses in Germany, Paris, New York including professional magazines as well as the biggest academic publisher in the world. In terms of chinchilla experiences, I started out in the U.S. and continued to attend and assist judges on chin shows in Europe (UK, Baltic States, Germany), follow the invitation of top breeders to visits in the Baltic States, all over Germany, and further international exchange of chinchilla know-how by organising breeder and show visits from abroad, etc.

Our committment is more than ever strictly dedicated to the wellfare and preservance of the chinchilla genetic pool in its strength and beauty.

We are happy to share and provide relevant information to other chinlovers. The archives of nearly half a century of chinchilla documentation of one of the finest publications on chinchilla knowhow will be opened step-by-step to the public. We hope this will benefit both - chinchillalovers and Chinchillas!
