Chinese Language (Mandarin) Programs & Qualifications
Programs:
I. Bachelor Degree Program: 4 years
II. Long Term Program: More than 1 semester (1 semester included)
III. Short Term Program: 4 to 12 weeks (Summer Courses: 4 to 8 weeks)
IV. Mini Class Program: Any length at the students' own choice (Class size of the mini class depends on the number of students (of about the same level of the Chinese language) on 1 teacher. It can be 1 on 1; 2 on 1, 3 on 1, 4 on 1 or 5 on 1. )
Qualifications:
I. Bachelor Degree Program:
1) High school education (or the equivalent), 18 - 60 years of age.
2) Pre-Chinese learning is required. International Applicants should be at least an HSK (Chinese Proficency Test) certificate 6 holder. Those without an HSK certificate may take the Long Term Chinese Program for at least 1 year before they can be admitted into the regular program.
II. Long Term Program, Short Term Program, Mini Class Program:1) Qualifications: 18 - 60 years of age.
2) Pre-Chinese learning is NOT required. Students are placed into different classes according to their levels of the Chinese language, ranging from complete beginners to the advanced.
