***Puppy News***
Nestle has been bred and will be due mid-July, making her puppies available mid to late September. I expect her to have smooth coats. Nestle is chocolate and the daddy Achilles has produced chocolate puppies in the past, so I hope to have chocolate puppies. But more than anything I want healthy puppies and for mom to not have any problems.
Reba has been bred and will also be due in July. I expect her to have beautfiul, tiny, longhaired babies. Gordon was apparently just not ready for the task, so as a back up, Reba was bred to Gordon's father, Pedro. Pedro makes his home at Kentucky-Land Chihuahuas, where I got Gordon from. Gordon resembles his father a great deal.
***Start praying for me that all will go well with Reba, Nestle, and their future puppies.***
***Time is closer to when I will have puppies. I am both anxious and nervous.***
Dolly should be going into heat soon. I intend to breed her with Gordon. Once I had Reba bred, Gordon finally started showing interest. I hope I am able to breed Dolly with Gordon as I have been very anxious to breed Gordon. They should have beautiful longhaired puppies with great pedigrees.
Cleo will be bred with Hercules sometime this summer. Their puppies may be longhaired or shorthaird and and will be AKC registered. Cleo carries on her father's championship pedigree.
Itty Bitty is now weighing right about 4 lbs. She still appears to be too small to breed. I do not risk breeding very tiny females. If she is not weighing more by her second heat cycle, I will have her spayed and she will still remain here with us as a member of the family, just as all the other dogs are.
