The Zebra Ball - Stars for the Stripes, that was held on February 10, 2007 was a success. This event raised over $40,000.00 from contributions and from both silent and live auctions. Photos from the event have been posted at their web site. The second annual event is planned for February 9, 2008.

On February 10, 2007, the first annual benefit event, The Zebra Ball^TM - Stars for the Stripes^TM, will be held in Chicago, Illinois to support The Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization with a mission to encourage and support research in addition to educating the general public and healthcare professionals regarding carcinoid and related neuroendocrine tumors.

Carcinoid Cancer Benefit

In conjunction with the Zebra Ball, Mayor Daley has issued a proclamation of February 10, 2007 as Carcinoid Cancer Awareness Day in Chicago.
