Well, "Why not?" Being a part of a Greek organization is a great opportunity for you to meet new & exciting people. Greek organizations also have a great campus presence, they act as a catalyst to campus life. There is always some social interaction on campus going on between the Greek members & organizations. Going Greek also allows you to network: you will have access to alumni in your field that may become a mentor to you, as well as a friend! All in all, it is your decision. Hopefully you will decide that a Greek organization is right for you!! If you have any other questions concerning Greek organizations, either email us or check out http://www.nicindy.org/index.html for the National Inter Fraternity Council, or http://www.npcwomen.org/ for the National Panhellenic Conference.

Mega Rose Jessica Moore In the past 2 and a half years we have seen this young woman grow and put forth so much love, heart and nurture into this sorority and has every step of the way gone above and beyond in her position. Last year she fulfilled the position of social and did a phenomenal job. She assisted our Vice President at the time with Rush and Assisted President with the New members that we welcomed into the sorority, as well as become a wonderful sorority mother and great friend to each of us. Jessica has been a wonderful sister. | Golden Rose Maureen Hackbarth
Golden Rose is the award given to an alumna who has continually assisted the sorority even after leaving her role as an active. While she was active she had received the Mega Rose award, and has only continued to go above and beyond to help out the sorority in any way that she can as an alumna, by coming to meetings, social events, Rituals and even Retreat this past year. |
College is supposed to be the best time of your life. What better way to spend it than with the Sisters of Chi Omega Rho? A lot of people think joining a Greek Organization is a way to buy your friends, for the O'Rhos this is not the case. We are a group of girls with similar interests as well as different ones, who would have come together with or without the letters. Typically going out and having fun together usually during rush makes things cheaper in a group compared to individually. The bonds between each sister is more than just a friendship it's our family away from home. To the Sisters of Chi Omega Rho our sorority is a legacy, that we have all worked hard for.
"The ties that bind me to my sisters are not wrapped around my wrists, but rather are fastened to my heart." - Sela Ward
