Bienvenue Chez Porter! To enjoy the beautiful Pyrenees Orientales at their best come and stay at Chez Porter - my place. The village of Mosset nestles in the Castellane valley at an altitude of 800m. The views along the verdunt valley accross to Pic du Canigou 2800m are breath taking - no other word for it. I have found not one person who hasn't instantly fallen in love with it! The village is rural, rustic, charming and filled with magic. The people here are so warm hearted it is humbling. If your idea of a good holiday is walking or cycling in the mountains, finding secluded river-side spots to read or soak up the sun, bathing in the amazing thermal waters of the many spas or sitting around the log fire with some wine and some good company then you've come to the right place. The sun shines all year round so this is an equally amazing place to spend summer or winter - you can be in Les Angles skiing one day and then having a picnic on the beach at Argeles wearing shorts and sandals the next!! Forget the pace of modern life for a while...... take deep breathes of fresh mountain air - its invigorating - its addictive!
