Chevington Woods Pool...A Tradition of Family Fun since 1975!



Summer will soon be here! Do you need a place to cool off and relax?

Check out the family-friendly Chevington Woods Pool!
 
The Chevington Woods Pool is conveniently located in the Chevington Woods Subdivision off of

State Route 204. You do not have to live in Chevington Woods to be a member of this unique
 
neighborhood pool. The pool includes a 12-ft deep diving well and diving board, slide, and fenced baby
 
pool. We offer a variety of memberships designed to fit everyone's needs.


2009 Pool Hours

2009 pool hours are (Sun 1 - 8pm, M, T, Th, Sat, 12 - 8pm, W, F, 12 - 9 pm).
 
 We may be open full hours May 26 due to teacher in service to be announced

Dates of operation include weekends May 23-25, and May 30, and 31
 
and then regular hours June 4 –September 1.
 
Pool hours between September 2 – September 7 will be posted at the pool.

Dates of operation include weekends only May 23,24,25, ( 26th maybe see above) and May 30-31

                           Single   Must be at least 16 years old to join as a single.

 

         Couple  Any two people, one of which must be 18 years old, living in the same household.

 

         Family     Parents and their children, living in the same household. Verification upon request.

(Tax is included – Original bond holders may take $75 off of listed seasonal prices)

The Chevington Woods Pool is a non profit organization known as the Chevington Woods Recreation Club. Your membership dollars are the sole support for and the primary source to help maintain this unique community pool. Please look upon your membership is an investment enhancing the quality of life in our community and way to support  family friendly activities in our neighborhoods!

Swim Lessons 2009

 

We will be offering two sessions of swim lessons this year.

The lessons are 30 minutes each, Monday – Friday in the morning.

  • Session 1 is scheduled for June 15– 26
  • Session 2 is scheduled for July 27 – August 7.

Stop by the pool office for additional information and registration.

Cost: $40 for members and $80 for non-members.

  •  Members can begin registering on May 23rd
  • Nonmembers may begin registering on June 4, 2009

  • Pool patrons please park in the parking lot or grassy areas on the right and left of the lot. 
  • Please do not park on the street out of respect for the neighbors of our pool.
  • Please be mindful of the 25 MPH Speed Limit in Chevington, keep our kids safe!


Membership Cards

This year we will not be issuing paper membership cards, when you visit the pool, your digital photo will be taken and kept on file at the pool computer with your membership and emergency data. ( this is similar to the YMCA method of check in.) After the photo process is completed, when your family checks into the pool you will give your name and your membership and identity will be verifed digitally.
