Boarding

CHEC will be offering boarding upon opening our gates in 2010. We will be offering several different boarding packages to suite the individual needs of the owners and customize our care for the horses. We will strive to maintain a family enviroment and strongly discourage "barn drama". We attend local shows and offer trailering. Our ammenties will include the following:

  • 4 12'x12' stalls
  • Locked tack room
  • Fridge in tack room for snacks/drinks
  • Individual tack lockers
  • Two wash racks
  • Cross ties
  • Large lit arena
  • Full jump course
  • 3 large turnout pastures
  • Individual paddocks

Full board- $450/month
Full board includes: 

  • 12'x12' stall
  •  Nutrena feed twice daily
  •  Coastal hay feed twice daily
  •  Supplements, electrolytes and corn oil as needed (not provided)
  •  Stalls cleaned in AM and picked in PM
  •  Blanketing and unblanketing in winter
  •  Daily turnout
  •  Use of all facilities
  •  Scheduling with the vet/farrier/dentist

Partial board- $350
Partial board includes:

  • 12'x12' stall
  • Supplements, electrolytes and corn oil as needed (not provided)
  • Stalls cleaned in AM and picked in PM
  • Blanketing and unblanketing in winter
  • Daily turnout
  • Use of all facilities
  • Scheduling with the vet/farrier/dentist
  • Owner must provide feed and hay

Pasture board (full)- $250
Full pasture board includes:

  • Personal paddock
  • Nutrena feed twice daily
  • Coastal hay twice daily
  • Paddock picked daily
  • Blanketing and unblanketing in winter
  • Daily turnout in large pasture
  • Use of all facilities
  • Scheduling with the vet/farrier/dentist

Pasture board (partial)-$150
Partial pasture board includes:

  • Personal paddock
  • Supplements, electrolytes and corn oil as needed (not provided)
  • Own feed twice daily
  • Own hay twice daily
  • Use of all facilities
  • Scheduling with the vet/farrier/dentist

 

Boarding Guidelines and Extra Fees

  1. CHEC requires that all horses are to be on the same worming schedule and that all of their vaccinations are up to date.
  2. All horses will be dewormed every 2 months for a charge of $20.00.
  3. Vaccinations are to be given annualy; Coggins are to be updated annually.
  4. Veterinarian and farrier visits will be posted. If you would like CHEC to schedule an appointment for you, please notify a staff member.
  5. You will be billed by the vet unless prior arrangements are made.
  6. Holding for vet/farrier will be done for a $5 charge.
  7. Medication administration by a qualified person will be done at a charge of $4 a day.
