1. You must hear God's word. (John 20:30-31; Romans 10:17)

3. You must repent of your sins. (Luke 13:3,5; Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19)
4. You must confess belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. (Matthew 10:32-33; Romans 10:10)
5. You must be baptized to have your sins washed away (forgiven). Acts 2:38; 22:16; I Peter 3:21)
6. You must continue to be faithful unto death. (II Peter 1:1-11; Revelation 2 :10; Hebrews 6:1)
