Paris Hilton is striving to bring the manners of her affluent upbringing to the office of President of the Chess Journalists of America.
Hilton has come back to her church roots, and strives to be a good example for all.
No yelling, screaming or insults by her!
We are backing Paris Hilton in this write-in campaign. The ballot will apear in the June 2007 Chess Journalist magazine. All CJA members can write in and vote! Let us write in her name for President and followup on mailing it in!
Paris Hilton reaching to make a move in Blitz chess.
Her opponent is incumbant Jerry Hanken

Hanken has had some pretty embarrassing moments over the years.
Certainly, if as expected her write-in votes win the election. We will pay her CJA membership to insure her eligibility.
This campaign is similar to the long standing tradition in South America.
When a politician gets abusive, or ill mannered. Some would organize a write in campaign for one of the popular Bulls from the Bull fighting rings. It was not uncommon for the Bull to win. Which brought some humility and better manners, and even better ethics to the defeated politician. Indeed El Toro won several elections over some obnoxious politicians.
For decades Hanken has had an insult style all his own. Even up to this month at the Riviera hotel at the Las Vegas National Open. Where Susan Polgar and her children were trying to register at 2:45 am, June 6th.

The percentage of ballots returned in USCF & CJA elections is usually about 10%. Thus every vote represents 10 people! Make your vote count!
All USCF and CJA members should make every effort to vote in as many offices as possible. And do some homework. Input from the middle class is needed!
