Thirteen years ago, today.  I've been crying off and on all day.  I have no one to talk to about it because they would all think I'm crazy, but the truth of the matter is that NO ONE knows what this man - Tiny Tim - means to me.  I will be adding more videos as my schedule sees fit; right now I'm extremely busy with changing over to another college to continue on and get my RN (AS) degree and getting certified in my current one.  There are so many things I want to do with this site but I haven't the time.  Hopefully within the next couple of weeks, I will have more time.  I wish Tiny were here right now.  I would hug him tightly and let him know how much I appreciate him - always have - and I always will.

Well, let me start by saying how depressed I am that I did NOT know that Tiny's teeth were for sale on Ebay until AFTER the fact.  I could have had a shot at them!  Oh well.  The good news is that I discovered Mike Carano has uploaded the entire version of an interview with Tiny, Called "God Bless Tiny Tim," and it's in three parts.  Guess how I found this out?  On the YouTube profile of the guy who sold Tiny's teeth on Ebay! LOL  (He's a nice guy, BTW).  Anyhoo...  Enjoy the new videos!

I have not had an opportunity to do ANYTHING to this web site in the past six months because I have been without a computer.  I was going to get my computer fixed, but alas, I got laid off (thanks George Bush).  Anyhoo...  I now have a computer, and am now able to update this site regularly.  I've missed it so. 

Today, I added a new link on the TT Radio page, and also switched up the graphics on the homepage to reflect Tiny's would-be 77th birthday, which is coming up April 12th.  (R.I.P., Tiny...)

I have debated for a short while as to whether or not I wanted to include the "Midnight Blue Interview" video on this site.  I decided in favor of included it, as it was a part of Tiny Tim's life, and even though the show itself is lude, I think the interview really gives us a true glimspe into Tiny's psyche and what made him "tick."  I think it will also offer a new way for non-believers to view Christians.  Hopefully they will come to understand that being a Christian doesn't automatically mean that the Christian is supposed to change into a goody-goody and do absolutely NO wrong whatsoever - that's not what being a Christian is about. Most Christians - and in my humble opinion, the TRUE Christians - beat themselves up over things like this constantly.  Anyway, before I start "preaching," just watch this video with an open mind.  I purposefully DID NOT introduce this video by displaying it as an "embedded" video, mostly to not draw so much attention to it.  But those who do happen to notice it... way at the bottom... Will hopefully be enlightened, and come away with an understanding - both of Christianity, and of Tiny Tim.  I wonder how many people actually turned the channel when they realized that there wasn't going to be any of the "regular" stuff (ie: smut) on that night?

As you can probably tell, I've been "tweaking' this site over the past weekend, adding new features, and videos, etc.  (In between study breaks, that is).  FINALS.... Grrrrrr!  Anyway, I have added a new feature: CALLING ME!  If you have feedback, not only can you "sign Tiny's Journal," but you can also call me and let me hear your voice!  Tell me what you think of this site.  Tell me what you think of Tiny Tim.  Tell me waht your favorite song is by him, or  just tell me what you think of the blackhole theory or quantum physics - I don't care.  The point is, YOU CAN CALL NOW.  Oh yeah, by the way... Happy New Year!   I've added a new video to the video/audio page (Tiny Tim sings with Townsend Wright) and also changed out the video of the month (VOTM); however, this will be the last "Video of the Month," as the videos are getting scarce, as is my time (and memory...lol).  Trying to remember every month is getting to be a problem.  Don't worry - I will still be adding new Tiny Tim videos and audio as they pop up on the 'net.  If you find any, feel free to send me the embed link and the URL link via e-mail, and I'll add it - A.S.A.P!

I noticed that some of the videos have been removed from YouTube, including the Earth Angel video.  (Can we say heartbroken)?  I looooooooved hearing him sing that song!!!  It made me melt every time I heard it!  *disappointed siiiiigh*  Anyway, I have updated the links to the videos that weren't working.  But not to fret - the video and audio count remains the same, PLUS one more NEW video has been added (WWF - Uncle Elmer's Wedding).

I finally got around to changing the VOTM on the video page, and we have HOW many days left in September?!  *smacks self in forehead*  DOH!!!  ...Forgive me.  I just simply forgot.  You would think that I would have thought about it on the 9th, when I posted another poem: "Oh, gee, while I'm here posting this poem, I should also change the VOTM..."  Duh.  Oh, well.  Enough fussing at myself...lol  Anyway, I'm going to leave this video up throughout the rest of September and all through October as the VOTM, since this month is practically over.  Sorry about the delay.

Last night, I ran across a poem I wrote back in 1996, a couple of days after Tiny Tim had passed away.  That was all those years ago, and it still made me cry.  I decided to added it to this site to share with the visitors.  I don't care - I repeat - I DO NOT care WHO knows how I felt.  That's how I felt and I can't change that. Heck, even still to this day - I love the guy!  I never really got over that trauma.  You have to go to the poem page "My Poems to Mr. Tim," and scroll down a bit past "Ode to Tiny Tim."

I've also added a way to download my tribute videos to your video ipod!  Check out the "Tiny Tim Video Clips" page! :o)

Directions:  

• Right-click on the link in the video description that reads, "Right click here."
• Select "Save Target As..." and save it to your desktop
• Once downloaded to your desktop, right-click on the video's icon on your desktop and select "Open With" then select "iTunes."
• Once opened in iTunes, you may have to convert the video so that it will download to your iPod. To do this, do the following:
• In iTunes, makes sure you are in the "Videos" section, and make sure the video you want to convert is highlighted.  (You'll need to be in video screenshot view).
• Then, go to "Advanced" at the toolbar at the top of the iTunes window.
• Select "Convert Selection for iPod," and wait for it to convert your video.  you will need to delete the old video so you won't get confused as to which is which.
• ENJOY!!!  ...And thank you for downlaoding my Tiny Tim tribute video(s)  :o)

Well, thanks to another fan, who had more time to surf and who has a great pair of eyeballs, they alerted me that the (full, quality version) of the Earth Angel video has been reposted on YouTube.  WOOOOOOO-HOOOOO!  So, you may notice one of the numbers has an "A" and a "B."  This is why.  I left both versions up, just in case YouTube pulls one of them from their site.  Speaking of videos being yanked from youTube, etc., another Tiny Tim video has bitten the proverbial dust - the Skittles Commercial.  :o( *siiiiigh*  Anyway, I also added a disclaimer to the video/audio page.

 I added the Rhino-released boxed set, "God Bless Tiny Tim," to the WTTR (Tiny Tim Radio) page.  I just e-mailed Ernie Clark at tinytim.org to see if he'll give me permission to use the album graphics so I can link to those new albums from the WTTR page, as well.  The more Tiny Tim albums people can buy, the more people will acknowledge his talent, and more than the song "Tiptoe..." stuck in their minds.  Thats' the whole point of my site - to keep his music and memory alive, and to let people know that there are FAR more songs to Tiny Tim than just "Tiptoe.." and "Living in the Sunlight, Loving in the Moonlight."  UPDATE (as of 2:36 p.m.):  I just heard from Ernie Clark via e-mail - I have permission!  Woo-hoo!  So, with that, I have added the newly released albums at the bottom of the WTTR page.  As they say on TV, "Collect them all!"

I have rearranged the wording on the "Tiny Tim Blinkies" page.  It was too 'wordy' in the beginning of the page, so I spaced it all out.  Instead of trying to put ALL the credits at the top of a page in five million paragraphs (lol) I put the credits by the blinkies, themselves.  Well, you'll see what I mean.

BRAND NEW VIDEO on the Video page!  (Tiny Tim singing "Why" with Miss Vicki).  WOO-HOOO!!!  I love when new Tiny tim videos are psoted!!!  Thank to Ryan Woodard, a fan, for the heads up!  :o)

Also, I have noticed that people on YouTube are using (originally my) idea for the photo montage/video as a tribute to Tiny Tim.  Nice job, but as I recall, I came up with the idea in the first place, because at the time, no one else had a Tiny Tim tribute video made for him.  (Believe me, I looked everywhere on the web - keyword here is 'tribute')!  So, being the creative person that I am, I took the initiative and made one.  Now, all of the sudden, people left and right are copying the idea.  I guess that's a good thing, actually.  Mockery is a form of flattery.  More importantly, people are learning about Tiny Tim and coming to appreciate him.

Unfortunately, the 5 minute clip I had from Tiny Tim" The Last Hurrah" no longer works.  Turns out it wasn't a "temporary" problem, like I was so hoping it would be.  *sigh*  Oh well.  Still, I have a collection of 22 Tiny Tim videos on this site.  I think that's awesome!  I'm still waiting for the day when someone on YouTube posts video of Tiny on the Howard Stern Show (without any copyright infiringements, that is).  Something tells me I'll be waiting until you-know-where freezes over... lol

Well, I'm over my cold now (thank you, Jesus)!  I changed the VOTM to February's theme of love. :o)  Enjoy!  Also, I check my Tiny Tim video links regularly to make sure that they are still working (and that YouTube hasn't yanked it off the 'net).  Apparently, one of the non-YouTube video links doesn't seem to be working at this time, but I'm hoping that it's only a TEMPORARY problem.  I'll keep checking back.  I have also found out that because I have purchased "Blood Harvest" via Google, that is the reason it plays the whole movie for me when I click the "Blood Harvest" link.  Noone else can view the whole thing - just me.  So, at least I no longer have to worry about youngsters happening upon it and being scarred for life.  I'll still leave the warning page up though, since I went through the trouble and spent all that time setting it up in the first place... lol

I was surfing YouTube and other video sites looking for more Tiny Tim stuff, and discovered that yet another YouTube video has bitten the dust.  It was the one where Tiny Tim is in his later years and singing "Tiptoe..." w/ Dr. Demento  looking on in the background.  I also changed the "January" dates on this page to the year 2007, rather than ol' 2006.  (Duuuuuh @ me).  Sorry for the confusion, folks.  I just can't shake the habit of writing "2006." lol  Well, I'm catching a cold.  Going to go lie down now.  *cough* *hack* *sneeze*

I have added a link to another audio clip (AUDIO 5).  I hope everyone enjoys it.  I'm surprised I never noticed that clip on Rhapsody before...  *scratching my head in confusion*  Hmpf!  Oh well.  At least I've found it now... lol   It's a really interesting interview.  The first song Tiny sings is called, "New York! Oh, What a Charming City," from 1839.  Just ignore the guy yelling at the kids in the background... Well, it has taken me a little over 5 hours to figure out that a password gate isn't going to work.  Mostly because I am not able to embed the particular video in question.  Had I been able to do that, the password gate would have worked.  Oh well.  I at least have a link that directs visitors to a warning page first, before proceeding to the video's originating site.  So now instead of a password gate, the video has a "warning" gate.  Oh, well...  I tried.

I changed the VOTM - once again, I forgot to mention it here.  (Where is my brain, lately)?   Also, I am currently working on a password gate for the video, "Blood Harvest," since it no longer shows only a preview, but shows the whole entire movie.  You can imagine my surprise (along with horror and chagrin) when I found THAT out!   +  =    At first I was glad that people could view the whole movie for free, but then I got to thinking...  I don't want the younger crowd to see that, if they're not supposed to.  I agree that the under-aged shouldn't be subjected to that kind of stuff.  However, it IS still a Tiny Tim-related thing, and therefore has every right to be included on this site, plus the fact that the majority of the visitors to this site are adults who grew up listening to Tiny Tim.  I feel the password gate is a good compromise for both arguments, So, NO, I'm NOT removing the Blood Harvest video (but it will be password protected to protect our youth).  Oh... Did I mention it will be password protected? lol

I switched the VOTW yesterday, but forgot to mention it here.  (Oops)!  I have also decided to rename it the Video of the MONTH instead, since I'm in college and don't have a lot of time to log on here.  Also, I keep forgetting to switch the VOTW (now VOTM) around!!!  But here we all are...

Anyway, I've also added a new blinkie!  (The 'I don't suffer from Tiny Tim addiction...' one).  I suggested the design, but again, I had help on this one - someone else brought my idea to fruition.  I reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy need to get animation software so I don't have to keep bugging people to help me make my ideas come alive.

I took down the memorial banner and changed the background.  I had multi-colored music notes before, but I noticed on tinytim.org that they had black and white notes on their background, as well.  I didn't want them to think I was copying them, so I changed it.  (They didn't say anything about it; I took it upon myself to change it).  Plus, it was a much needed change, anyway.  I haven't really found any new Tiny Tim material on the web.  (Trust me, I'm constantly searching).  Enjoy the new look, and keep checking back often.

Upon checking this site's "stats" earlier today, I realized that someone had visited this site via a Google-translated  page, which was in German.  I thought to myself, "Hmmm...  Neat!  They viewed my site in German!  That's a good idea!"  So now, visitors who speak French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, or German can click on the appropriate flag from the home page, and read my pages and understand them.  (Hopefully, the translations provided are accurate).  I hope you enjoy this new feature to this ever-growing web site!

I have rearranged the topic menu on all of the pages so that all the "Official Sites" are together, all of the "Articles" are together and all of the "Interactive" stuff is together, and whatever else (misc.) is all together.  Sometime tomorrow *checks watch* or shall I say, later today...  I plan on rearranging this page so that the newer updates are first.  This way visitors don't have to scrolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll alllllllllll the wayyyyyyy downnnnnnnnnnnnnn to see what updates have taken place.  ...You're welcome.

I had to play around with the video page.  Apparently, the Johnny Carson vresion of "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" was removed from YouTube.  I had to relocate the same clip elsewhere, and redo the HTML coding for it.  So, it's back up and running!  :o)  I also updated the VOTW.

I also got rid of my Tiny Tim Fans group on EZBoard because, since it's creation, NO ONE has bothered to sign up and post.  So, instead, I added a link to a Yahoo! Tiny Tim group that I belong to, in which people ACTUALLY BOTHER to make posts to.  Oh well.  I don't have time to run a tribute site, run another site, go to school AND run a forum, too...  I guess I've got enough on my plate... I have redone the candle page.  Someone on a nother site suggested another memorial site, and it works better.  Not that the other candle page was "bad," but it wasn't all that great, either.  I didn't like the color scheme on the old candle site, and didn't have a choice to change it.  Plus, the candles on the new site STAY LIGHTED!  (BTW, I created the little logo you see below for the new candle site).  Visitors are still welcome to light candles as often as they wish.  The old candle site is still available for people to light candles, but it will no longer be linked on any of these pages (except for this page - See entry for Thursday, 9-14-06)...  So, here's the new one:

I am taking a (short) break from my studies to log on here really quickly to change a few things on the home page.  I did't like how what I had written came out before - it was too 'all over the place' and disorganized.  It kept bugging me, and so now, I have improved it a bit.  I think the message is more clear this time around.  I elaborated more on the reason WHY I used Mercy Me's song rather than a Tiny Tim song for my first tribute video, as I thought this was necessary.  I have received e-mails saying, "you said you wanted to keep his music alive, yet you used another band's song.  This doesn't make sense."  I think people will understand now.  There is a second tribute video (#15 on video page), which DOES feature a Tiny Tim song, "Over the Rainbow."  I also added a piece of artwork that I created, at the end.  I use the term "created" loosely.  I superimposed an image of Tiny onto another image of hands.  But in a way, I guess I can say I created the finished product, which is Tiny Tim in Jesus' hands.

I added a new video clip.  I've known about this one ever since I started this site.  I purposely didn't put the clip on this site because the movie is rated R due to strong sexual content and graphic violence.  However, I just recently reasoned in my head that maybe putting the video clip of the movie on here wouldn't be such a bad idea.  I mean, the video doesn't really show anything TOO graphic, other than a dead guy hanging upside down in a barn.  (Which is still kind of bad, but compared to the rest of the movie, that scene is like watching Sesame Street)!

I also added an AWESOME, awesome clip from MikeCarano.com.  This clip is just simply amazing!   It may take forever to load, or it maynot even work at all.  Keep trying.  It will work eventually.  I have notified the person at MikeCarano.com and they said they would fix it when they had a chance.

I found a clip of Tiny Tim singing "Earth Angel," on the Ed Sullivan Show, thanks to Soreet, who told me about it.  This one is better than the old Earth Angel link I had.  This one is the COMPLETE PERFORMANCE!!!  The video quality is better, also, as there are no clicks and pops at the end, distorting Tiny's voice.  Plus, It's not cut off in the middle of him falling to the ground and kicking and flailing about...  This one's AWESOME!!!  I put it up as "new" and left the actual video window up so the "regulars" to this site would notice right away.

I also got rid of the video poll.  It was annoying and wasn't working properly.

I created a new and improved Forum over at EZBoard and added a link to every page on this site, at the top.  The YouTube discussion group sucked because you were limited as to how much text you could post at one time.  Plus you couldn't customize it.  Plus YouTube ticked me off and I'm removing my videos from that site once and for all.  You see, I heard through the grapevine (and in a not so kind tone)  that if your video wins honors and the "cool" people at YouTube thinks that your video isn't "cool," they strip you of honors so that your video won't be seen as much.  I think it's a dispicable practice and not to mention intolerant and discriminating.  I have written them a "nice" little letter letting them know that Google and MySpace video players are much better quality and they don't treat their video creators unfairly.  Plus, Google and MySpace video players are better quality, anyway.  It's YouTube's loss - not mine.  I don't bother dealing with arrogant-->

I was supposed to be at a Women's Ministry church Luncheon, but that got cancelled due to an unforseen emergency with the luncheon host.  So, I logged on and added a WEEKLY POLL to the video page.  So now people can vote on which video gets displayed as "VIDEO OF THE WEEK (VOW)," (runs from Saturday to the following Saturday) starting 8-26-06.  Hurry and cast your votes, and cast them often!

I already had "Earth Angel" in mind as VOW for this week, so that's why the votes won't count until 8-26-06.  Oh well...  More time for the voting process!

My FIRST tribute video had won honors on YouTube last month.  Now, the honors are gone!  They must have lost some people's honors due to the "downtime" last night to push out new features.  YouTube goes down a lot!  There were other Tiny Tim videos that had honors and they're gone, too.  I'll bet they're just as ticked-off as I am.  Sorry, Tiny.  The video honors are gone forever...  But at least this site has an award.  That's a positive thing....  *trying to find my 'happy place'* lol  I hope they get back to me and can resolve this.  *prays hard*  God answers knee-mail.

Well, I got the "bright idea" to make the scrollbar all white to match the pages on this site.  Remind me to never get any more "bright ideas." 

After LOTS OF TRIALS and LOTS OF ERRORS...  I could only get it to work on the Tiny Tim Journal (guestbook).  *blowing hair out of my eyes* *disgusted with myself*  Oh well...

Anyhow, during this process, I managed to lose ALL the work I did on the Tiny Tim Video Clips page so I had to redo the whole entire page over from scratch.  *wiping sweat from brow* *taking biiiiig drink of water*  *wiping mouth with hand*  *slamming bottle of water back down on the desk, determined to figure this 'scroll bar' thing out*   At least now the new video clips page has more Tiny Tim videos linked to it, and at least I found out that the code works in the guest book... THAT NOONE EVER SIGNS!!!!  *hint* *hint*

The problem is, I can't find the "head" section of this site...  Another problem is that even if I could find it, I probably would still have trouble getting the rick-a-frickin' custom scroll bar code to work because it isn't cross browser compatible.  Grrrrr...  Oh well...  Back to the drawing board...  I think I'll take a break for a few minutes though and log in to my new MySpace account...  Yeah, I caved.  I signed up.  Click here to add me as a buddy on Myspace

I logged on to youtube.com a few minutes ago and guess what?!  The Tiny Tim Tribute video I made has received honors!!!!  YAY!!!  

HONORS: "#72 Top Rated (This Month) in Music"  (Of course, they mean the month of July, not August).  I think that's awesome!  If you're reading this and you came from my link on youtube, then THANKS FOR VOTING FOR THIS VIDEO!!!  It almost has 5 stars....  WOW!

LINKS TO VIDEO: Also, someone liked it so much that they embedded the video into their "My Space" profile!  Isn't that sweet?   Now that I've checked out their profile, I want a MySpace profile too... LOL.

Well, last Sunday, (6-29-06 @ 10 am to be exact), I added some more trivia to the "Tiny Trivia" page.  I also added a funny incident relating to something that Tiny Tim said in an article that had struck me funny.  What he had said reminded me of something I had seen previously.  That is also on the trivia page, #18.
